I hope it does not take forever to get our housing transfer. I would like to be out of this apt before Christmas and back in familiar territory.

Music is great eh. I just love it myself.
My oldest was just sitting home too. He started asking for his cigs to be bought 4 him. Well he saw it wasn't going to happen. He works in a store now in the butcher dept. He loves being back out in the real world.

I'll be pulling out the tape measure. I just want to fit back into my 14s. If I had just been content there....When I get there this time, I'm gonna be content and hang out there for a while before I decide if I'm gonna lose more.

Yeah, sometimes tough love is needed. My dad always told my gram, he would buy her anything she needed, but refused to buy her cigs!

Every time I go to the doc, which is rare, I say 'when will I start shrinking?'...they just shrug.

Hopefully, I won't get too short. Although, I have pt's that have lost many inches.

Jem~

You haven't started shrinking yet?

How tall are you? Your pt's are hummm. Wonder why you still have all you started with.

You have not ever weighted too much as I have. Maybe the weight helped make me shorter! I have always wanted to be taller. I have that step stool packed up. Sure don't need it in the bus.

I think you said once you are 5'3 is that right?

For the newbies, me and Jem were both born the same year. A very good year, I have to add!

We are close to the same. It is a burden and a blessing. Mixed blessing that is.

If we build a house I am gona have all the cabinets built lower. I'm sick of having to use a ladder to reach the glasses

ML did you read the article from Dr. Mercola about the chicken jerky treats for pets?
You got me started with his forum and I really follow it . I just bought a truckload full of the chicken jerky on Amazon. I may have to get rid of them. My dog loves them too.

Also can you give me info on the CO treats. You can use unsweetened chocolate on our plan? How many can you eat a day? Are they considered 0 carbs?

I can't have any ice cream or the A bars in my house. Don't agonize over it. Slips happen. I slip once in a great while. It actually refocuses me. I had a slip last Sat. Yesterday, I went out to eat at a buffet with friends. It was Mexican food. I ate some salad, fresh shrimp and turkey. They tried to get me to eat a piece of sugar free cake but resisted it. I wasn't even tempted. I think the slip last Sat had satisfied my sweet tooth. I am able after a year to get back on track the next day and keep going. It is hard always trying to avoid non Atkins Plan food. With all the weight you have lost and maintained you will be fine.

ML I am with you on missing my Mom. It will be two years in Oct and I still struggle with the loss. I love the pic of you and your Mom. I have pics of my mom in every room and I know she is always with me. Sadly she never saw me thin. She was always worried about my weight.

Kathy, my DH loves oysters, I have only eaten them fried. You are brave.

Thank you to those who welcomed me into the fold.

I need info on pork rinds. Can you eat them limitlessly? I have actually never tried them, but I know you have to watch for added sugar.

To those who weigh daily, remember your weight can fluctuate so hang in there it will come off.

I splurged and bought a fryer today. I hope to try frying fish and other things to avoid the same old same old.

Everyone have a great day. You guys post so much and so fast this old lady can't keep up but I do read the forum daily.

Linda Boca

Today is my youngest daughter's birthday. She is 30, but they say 30 is the new 20. She is running a 5K on Sunday to help celebrate.

ML can you email me the recipe for the candy? I may make only small batches so I don't binge on it.
No I didn't read that from Dr. Mercola. I don't have an anti V on here and I am not opening emails at the moment from him or those I feel unsure about.
Can you tell me about it?

Yes Coconut oil has no carbs and neither does cocoa. You remember how much CO I use right? Well I am still drinking or getting at least 6 tab. a day! I cook with it too. I wonder if Georgie is still on low carb? Buttoni is here too. She is helping so much with the way she changes up things and makes them low carb friendly.

Linda because of all the weight I have lost I am scared silly to regain an ounce of it! I tried to move to OWl but I stopped losing so I am back to VVVLC! That s/f ice cream will NEVER EVER come into my sight again! There are other ways to get that ice cream fix. I sent you email. It is not the CO or the chocolate you have to be careful with. It's the sweetener.

Gosh a year has passed fast. I know how hard losing your mom was on you.

On the pork rinds, yes they can be ate freely. And yes some have sugar!

Come on and post daily. It may help you reach goal faster. GREAT ppl are here!!

Does anyone have a problem getting the CO candy stirred up? The sweetener is grainy. I have been meaning to post this Q. for some time. Kept forgetting.

Good it may help. Get plenty of rest. Tell DH to take care of you.

I wish I could carry LCF around like you do. Remember me telling you I would take LCF to bed with me and you said your DH would get too jealous.
