Need an idea for this meat...
Hey guys...
I hope everyone is doing well!! I bought some lean-cut stew meat pieces. I figured it would be great for me to eat on, but now I don't know how to fix them. I'm thinking maybe a dry pack of ranch or italian dressing with a little water in the crock pot? I just want to be able to throw in a container and snack on during the day or for a quick lunch or breakfast. Any ideas apprecaited!! Thanks gang !!! ![]() |

I'm big on marinating tougher cuts in my favorite dressing--Ken's' Steakhouse brand Balsamic Basil Vinaigrette. It's only got one carb in 2 tablespoons, and it makes a great marinade for any cut of meat, and is good to flavor veggies and other things, too. Because of the vinegar, it really helps tenderize tough cuts of meat.

Another thought--a day's cooking in the crockpot, then adding some sour cream and mushrooms during the last half hour or so would make a great stroganoff.
