So #2 says "Don't eat when you're not hungry"

I've been doing that. However, my weight loss has stalled out for the last two weeks...and when watching Biggest Looser the other night, they were talking about how the girls weren't eating enough. So I looked at my average calorie intake in FitDay and it's 1100. Some days it's like 800+, some are more like 1200. What *should* I be taking in??

I'm 36yrs, female, 65", 195lbs.

My husband is also getting ready to start and I would like to know what range he should be in.

I know Atkins doesn't count calories per se but I think I'm too low...I just don't know how much too low.

Thanks!

I would try something with a higher caloric intake. Bacon? Maybe half an avacado, or some macadamia nuts?

Are you getting your veggies in?

Each body is different.

I read somewhere that your caloric intake should be 10x your goal weight (1500 calories/150 lb. goal). Sometimes it is hard to increase calories, especially when ketosis suppresses hunger. My goal weight is the same as yours, but I never reached 1400 calories yesterday.

Try not to go too low, as your body may interpret it as starvation and lower your metabolism. Add some avacado to your salad... it increases fat and calorie intake nicely!

Your metabolism may be slowing down due to a rather low caloric intake. Consider eating a bigger, fatty breakfast. Extra olive/mct oil if you fry some eggs.
