How Do I Make It Work?
Hi All,
I've flirted with LC for several years, then had a knee jerk reaction to my mother's death and had lap band surgery. It's helped, but I need to get back on the wagon and loose the rest of the weight. I've read and read and read some more, and after comparing them, I think Atkins '72 is the right option for me. However, I have a major problem with it...I can't eat solid food for breakfast. Well, I can, but then it's just not a pretty situation (I'll leave the rest to your imagination). So, I don't know how to work with the breakfast issues. Typically, I have a protein shake - it has 2 g of carbs, 1 g of fat and 35 g of protein. My day starts around 5, and I can't manage solids until about 10. By then, my body has relaxed enough to let me eat. Any ideas from the veterans of this WOE? Oh, and I have the Atkins '72 book on order and it will be here the first week in August. |
