Just popping in and noticed there was no new thread, so here it is.

I'm trying to do Stillman's today. I'll post me menu later when I have more time.

Good Morning ladies......

Well I made it threw the weekend without any major cheats!! My only cheat came yesterday when I ate some Sugar Free Jelly Bellies!! Dang!! But I was just gonna have one and you know how that goes!! One leads to two and so on!!! But even with eating the jelly bellies, my ketone stick was still pink!! I don't show any loss though!! Just 3 lbs!! Dang...this is day 8!!! Its gonna take me forever to loose 10lbs at this rate!!! But I did weigh on the scales at the hospital Saturday and weighed exactly what I did at home!! So that pleased me!! You know how dr's scales always seem to weigh ya more!!

I worked the concession stand at an estate auction all day Saturday. Our church was in charge of it and my mom had signed up to work. I asked if she wanted to keep the boys or work the concession stand...she opted to keep the boys!! Sooo...Katy and I worked the concession stand for about 6 hours. I was in charge of the burger grill!! Sooo...I ate plenty of grilled hamburger Saturday!! But kept me legal by being there!! But dang...I nearly fell out smelling those dang burger buns!! I mean usually the burger bun is my least favorite part of the burger! Katy picked out to antique barbie dolls she wanted and she watched that auction like a hawk all day. I told her they would go high. Finally about 5:30 that afternoon, I bribed the auctioneers son into moving them up to the front of the line!! We got both for $15.00 each!! Katy was tickled pink!! The entire crowd clapped!! They had watched her eye ball them things all day!

O I forgot to mention why I was at the hospital....I got a call while working the concession stand that my brother had fallen from a balcony while standing on a ladder. He was home alone and the cabin is about 3/4 of a mile up the mountian from his house. Takes a 4x4 to get there. He had a cut on his elbow and had lost so much blood he was too weak to drive. So I took off from the auction to get him. He lives about 7 miles out in the country. By the time I got there, he had riden the 4 wheeler down the mountian to his house. I picked Jason up to go with me because my brother is a pretty good sized man!! Anyway...we got him to the hospital and got him stitched up. He had a nasty 2 " gash on his elbow and a knot on his head and his ankle was swelled about 3 times its normal size. Nothing was broken. They think he just tore some stuff in his ankle. He was kinda talking outta his head though. We were at the hospital with him for about 2 hours.

Today is Kristy's funeral. Several of us are planning to attend. Im really not looking forward to it!! I had said before that she was 27, but I think she's just 25!! Just horrible!! I really hate funerals and really hate the ones like this!!

So sorry about you having to attend that funeral. I hate funerals!

Congrats on the Barbie score - they're usually pretty expensive. She can proly get some money on ebay for those things.

YIKES Tommie...You had quite a weekend. Will be thinking about you today with the funeral and all.... My daughters are 25! Can't even imagine what her family is going through.

I ate clean Stillman's ALL weekend! I thought I would be down almost to my goal, but I was at 139 this morning... Doesn't look like I'll make my goal by Friday. And let me tell you...I am hardest on myself when I don't meet a goal...

Kathy...I'm so disgusted with this diet!! I can't believe I'm only down 3lbs in 8 days@!! WTH???


And your such a sweety to be your girls's DD!! How great is that!!! Alot of mothers would give them the OL lecture and not think about volunteering to drive!! Way to go MOM!!!

Well...they are 25 and pretty responsible, but the way back to our house is a winding, dark country road that they aren't used to, so I thought it was in their best interest to offer to drive. I did feel a little bit of Deja vu when they wanted me to let them off down the street from the bar...

And yes, I am sooooo pissed about my slow weight loss! Yesterday here's what I ate all day...one egg and 2 slices of turkey bacon, and about a 1/2 of a lean ribeye steak????? That's it! Oh, and about 2 liters of sf sun tea!

Don't you find the Stillman's boring? I was looking at it this morning trying to find something to take for lunch to work. I ended up with cottage cheese and tuna (I don't have anywhere to heat stuff). I'm going to make that cola chicken for dinner tonight since you all are raving about it. I'll also serve it to the family with rice as a side.

Tom, sounds like you had an eventful weekend...sorry about your brother, that pic you sent me made me ache..ouch! I don't think I knew that girl did I?? At any rate, it is just awful! I sure won't miss being on that road everyday driving back and forth....well maybe I won't....I have talked to "that man" that lives in my house and he is making no attempt to get the trailer moved...I am seriously freaking out over this...I am literally moved into storage except for my furniture...mom and dad are packed and have moved a lot in here....and I just feel like I am sitting on my thumbs! He told me last night that he couldn't "make" them move the thing...I was like "Hello...you paid them already...YES YOU CAN!!" Why is it that I have more balls than any man I know ??? Stand up for yourself already...damn! I told him that I would come up there and get it settled...he got hateful with me..huh, imagine that!!! A$$HOLE!
Well the kids wanted ice cream over the weekend, so I went to Braums and got some low carb choc. chip....it made me soooooooo sick......remind me to never do that again. Last night I made Tequila lime shrimp on the grill...OMG it was sooooooo good...I tossed them with a spinach salad with strawberries and cucumbers and vinegrett...OMG, HEAVEN!

I am on my way to wally world here in a few to pick up some stuff to grill for tonight..more shrimp, and I think I will throw some portobello mushrooms in too....that sounds yummy grilled with some lime and itallian dressing....

Ok girlies...I will check back later.........you know when I get tired of lounging out by the pool!! Bahahahahaha.......

Hey my chicadee's! Well as I'm typing this, I'm eating freaking McDonalds!! Did you hear me? Since I jumped off the wagon a few weeks ago, it's been nothing but sugar, and it's hard to get back on. Went to the cracker barrell on saturday and planned to LC that day, NOT, I had their cheesy hashbrowns! So I truely need to get back on plan before my weight goes up! Don't know how you ladies do stillmans though!

Tommie- sorry to hear about your brother, glad nothing else major happend! and you have to go to that funeral, my thought are w/ya!

Mary- I read what about your little turtle!! How neat, bet he's a happy little guy or gal!! Oh I was gonna buy some tilipia fish at krogers and noticed that it said Wild Caught, now I wonder if that was from the gulf? I have to read up on that websited you posted. I didn't buy it, but have before.

I'm gonna have to talk my hubby into getting a small freezer, I wanna stalk up on meat before everything gets way up in price!! It's so awful about that flooding out west! Couldn't imagine the farmers and all the people w/nothing!! I heard we are gonna see increase in dairy and meat. Do you gals think this year has been hit hard the weather, gas, ect.. makes you wonder how much worse it's gonna get!

Well I'm gonna finish my lunch, I'll check back in tonight at home. Gonna try and do the low carb tomorrow. I did good this morning until I ate mcdonald's. I need to get rid of this sugar in my body, it's making crave crap!!

Hey Ladies! Hope everybody had a good weekend. Boy I have been having some wild and weird dreams the past few days. Last night I dreamt my male cat had kittens!! The night before I had a really scary dream. What the heck is that about!!??

Tommie, as usual you had something crazy going on - glad your brother is ok! Wow, that coulda been much worse. Did you lecture him about not doing that kind of stuff when he is alone??? I sure hate that about that young girl Gosh that's just terrible. You probably remember when I talked of my neighbor's daugher. She was only 20 - but it was the same thing, bad car accident except she she was a passenger in a car where the driver pulled out in front of a dump truck and they were both killed instantly. It was awful. I would not want to go to that funeral either. You'll be in my thoughts today. On the Stillmans - I guess you and Kathy are so close to goal and of course that's when the weight just doesn't want to come off. I never did understand that. Tommie, that is so cool on the Barbie dolls! I've never been to an estate sale or auction - me, I'd be after the old linens and frufru such stuff - like I need that LOL!!

I have some sad news. I found one of the baby herons in the ditch by my front yard dead. I think it may have hit the power lines because earlier that day I was in the bathroom and the power flickered, and I found it right next to a power pole. I hated picking that baby up - it was so beautiful and perfect! So that's two left of the original four that were born. BUT, my girl turtle is still around! I found out her time to eat is usually around noon. That's how long it takes for them to warm up enough to want to eat. And she still prefers meat and bread over veggies! But I heard that the juvenile turtles are more meat oriented, so looks like I may have a young-un! Great - now I have a teenage turtle!

Well, I don't know how I'm eating these days - seems it's been all over the charts LOL - but it'll be some way/shape/form of low carb this week. Yesterday I was craving vegetables so bad that I had a big huge plate of nothing but vegetables!!! Boy they were mighty good too. Isn't that funny though?

Well, need to go and fix something to eat - I'm running late on meals today. Not a great start, huh?

Dh had me making smoothies, milkshakes and blizzards all weekend. I tried one and it was good. I tried to chop some veggies in it for a salad, but they turned to mush. I guess it'll be a trial and error thing. I did crush some ice in it too. You have to do that before you add liquid. We found that out when we were doing the smoothies. I heard the whip cream is easily done in there, so it'll save digging out the beaters all the time.

B - 3 pc Canadian bacon
S - 2 hb eggs
L - tuna and 1/2 c cottage cheese
S - 2 turkey slices
D - cola chicken

Before the chicken I am only at 526 calories. That's pretty low isn't it?

Hey Shala - When you get back and have time, tell me how you did your tequila shrimp please! Oh and whatever else you are gonna do with the other shrimp. I need some LC ideas - most of my shrimp recipes are all HC. Your food is sounding so good ... but most of all, I'm GLAD to see that you are eating!! And REAL food!! WTG!

Awww..Mary.....I hate that about the baby birds!! I watched our lil nest under the carport forever, and when they were learning to fly, everytime one left the nest, the CAT ate it!!! I'm not even kidding!! I love your turtle!! I cant' believe she is still hanging around!! Every turtle we've had has ran off!! It could be that I have 4 kids chasing it all the time!!! O and Mary....I can't believe you've never been to an estate Auction!!! My mom and dad were big junkers!! They went to auctions and yard sales every weekend!! Thats where I acquired my collection of antique costume Jewelery!!! You would be amazed at my collection!!! Its huge and I LOVE it!!! Still!! I've collected it since I was 9!! I know some of the peices are at least 100 years old and older!!! My first box came from a lady we called Sister Hall....I was 9 and she was 79 when she passed away...so that stuff is OLD!!! I love the old quilts and doilies and such!!! I get sooo caught up in the bidding though!! I end up giving way to much!! I bought a 1934 womans class ring from our High School the other day at an Auction. It was sooo dainty and cute!! Real Gold!! I gave like $40.00 for it. I just added it to my jewelery box!

Shala....All I can say is MEN!!! I seen him at church Sunday....Jason and I went and he was there with the girls. He sets with my family, so we got the joy of sitting with him. And of course he had to turn around and say something smart to me! I swear! Its almost like having TWO husbands!! Because if Jason ain't picking at me then he is!!!

Mary....I forgot to mention that my brother is 59 and will be 60 in Sept!! He has not business climbing around like that!! What he done, was he has built a cabin up the mountian from his house....suppose to be a hunting cabin, but its NICE!! Anyway...he was on a ladder up by the balcony, and the ladder was on a rug. Well the rug slipped and he and the ladder came crashing down!@!

I thought I had a picture of the balcony, but don't. Its 2 bedrooms and then a loft with a balcony. He has a king size bed in the loft and there is plenty of room to walk around it. Has a bathroom that runs off of rain water....A kitchen that runs off of a generator. He painted deer tracks in one bedroom on the floor...turkey tracks in the other bedroom...then the bathroom looks like it has a pebble floor, but its painted on!! Really the neatest thing....The light fixtures are all out of deer horns. Then in the middle of the living room he painted his WILDLIFE BADGE...He's an Oklahoma Game Warden. Has been for 37 years....

Just checking in. Still maintaining on Atkins...need to get seriously on Stillman's again, though so I can be losing again! (I'd take the 3 lbs. down Tommie...heck, I'd even take the 1 lb. down,Kathy...I love Atkins but I just cannot lose any on it. Well, at least I'm not gaining. But still...hate to see the weeks go by with no loss-especially when there's been no carbalicious cheats.)

So, here's my promise to myself...start Stillman's on Tuesday. (would start today, but already had too much FAT, and been drinking SF yummy iced latte all morning! With way too much cream.)

Have to go get some cleaning done, and then sanding my porch to repaint later (and not falling off it...no ladders for me!)

It may not be from the Gulf, but it won't be pond raised (which is a much lower quality) and you will be supporting American fishermen and women instead of foreign countries!

Kim, does it have a pulse feature? If so that'd probably be how you'd have to do the veggies, unless you are trying to do a puree lol... That little thing must be pretty powerful! If I run across any ideas I'll post - course they won't be tried and true.

Yeah Cathy, be careful!! Don't want to hear of any accidents with you! You probably need the extra fat and calories today with all that work anyway so Stillman's can wait a day!

That is so odd about your body refusing to let go when you LC. I wonder why that is happening? I can't settle on one thing here lately, but so far today I've had a goodly sized mixed garden salad and a leftover turkey burger, two bottles of water, my vitamin and a dose of SF Metamucil, so LC so far but not much fat. I know that my metabolism was shot from years of not eating all day and then bingeing at night, and you know how they say you will start losing when you keep "shaking things up" by changing from LC to HC, but I don't know .... Here lately since I can't make up my mind on my WOE you'd think I'd be losing weight like crazy as much as I confuse my body! Ain't working that way for me!
