sugar free jello question

Do you all make your own jello with splenda or eat the pre made kind? I saw that the sugar free jello cups contain aspartame. I thought we couldnt have that. Do you have this as a desert and are you losing steady? Thanks.

I am a hige fan of jello! I buy the dry sugar-free mix and I make it myself. Its a super yummy treat - I would stay away from it during induction, for me it makes me crave sweets.

I'd like to have jello with splenda also. No aspartame. I think I have a major addition to aspartame. Sometimes I get headaches from not having it. I'm down to about 2 sodas with aspartame a week. I've gotta get off the stuff.

LOL,
Carla

I've never thought of making my own jello with splenda....great idea!
I've got a box of gelatin (no flavor) and may try to experiment.
Any ideas or recipes would be appreciated!

Hmmmm....I think it's located with the flavored gelatins in the grocery stores. Probably above all that Jello. "KNOX" is a popular brand name.

Do they sell Hunts products in the USA?

Here in Canada they have a product called Hunt's Juicy Gels, no sugar, made with Splenda. They come in a 4 pack and sold by the regular powder jellos.
