Found the book at Goodwill!
Yay I'm so excited, I found the '72 Atkins book at Goodwill for 50 cents how cool is that? I've already started reading the book and I'm gonna start tomorrow. My weightloss has been EXTREMELY slow (like 4 pounds a month) and maybe this will shake things up a bit.
I'm glad there's other people on here doing the '72 version we can have are own little 'club'. hehe. I'll post my menus too |

I'm glad you found a book. Following LC is much easier when you have a handy reference.
But, I would also have to say that 4 pounds a month (1 lb a week) is not slow. It is considered average. I know it is frustrating to be losing at an 'average' rate when others seem to have a miraculously quick loss of 3 or 4 pounds in a week. It can especially be discouraging when you do a 2 week induction and drop 10 or more pounds right off the top and then seem to stop losing. I don't believe Dr Atkins ever made claims that his method would just strip away the fat overnight. The people who have that kind of loss are the ones the TV ads always put the "results not typical" disclaimer under when marketing the diet stuff. I really do hope you get the results you are looking for but thought I would caution you about keeping perspective. Good luck!

This might sound dumb, but here it goes. What's the title of the Atkins 72 book? I was wanting to start looking for it. I have a book that's a few years old. But I want to check this book out to.
