Glad you're feeling better. I had to give up cheese, thought it was the cheese, but it was me and my portion control issues. I couldn't eat just 3-4 oz a day. So, I'd rather not have the cheese!

I didn't think it was how much cheese i was taking in but that could have been it. I noticed the last time I began to eat his way I didn't do so well but it also could have been the processed foods. This time I am cooking my own food.

I totally agree about cooking your own food, even the low carb processed foods (franken-foods) like Atkins bars, shakes, meals can stall people, make them crave crabs or worse yet, gain. The carb counts on some of those make my head spin because they list NET carbs as well as actual carbs and for some of us, a carb is a carb is a carb.

I started on May 15th and have been unable to weigh myself and it is driving me nuts . I have been strictly meat and eggs. Today I had a Wendy's bacaonator which was the first time i had cheese. I am trying to avoid cheese. I am feeling pretty good but I can't wait for my scale so I can see where I am.

too bad Monique that you don't have a true "start" weight because you'd probably be amazed how much you've lost in almost 10 days!! So when does your scales come in?? You'll post your stats right? You know I'm over here cheering you on!!

Yes i will. I did weigh myself at my moms last Friday but it was not first thing in the am and I was dressed but I was going to use that. I was 197 :-( . When I stayed eating the low carb lifestyle I was no more than 150 and even got as low as 135 but I want to be 145-150. I know I will get there Thank you for the support. I forgot to mention my scale is due to arrive on Saturday.

Hi Monique, You and I are around the same weight. And I use to be 135 to 150 a few yrs ago. I do not know why I got this heavy again.

Just here to say Keep up the good work. I know you will be glad when the scale comes. I know that I need to measure but I can never measure correctly. Do you hold the thing tight? Loose? I know I never get it in the same spot every time ... so I just use the scale and can tell in my clothes. So hoping for a big drop soon.

I know what you mean about measuring!! It's easier if someone else measures you -- BUT I didn't want anyone to KNOW how large I was... so I'm with you, I let the scales and my clothing be the gauge of the losses...

Then 197 is your start weight -- I say use it, even if you had clothes on! I can't wait for you to share what you weigh on your new scales...

My weight today is 190 oh yeah. The eating is getting easier. I went to a bbq restaurant and had tri tip, ribs and brisket naked aka no sauce. This morning I am having my coffee and bacon. Thank you for the support.

I gained weight from eating bread and sweets. I was depressed and stopped eating right because I didn't care. I am at a point in my life where I care again. I love my life and want to enjoy it.

I don't know how to measure myself I only go by weight. My scale is awesome it will measure your weight or loss and you can sync with your phone.

So forty pounds -- that is so doable on this WOE. I predict by Halloween you will reach your goal, Monique as long as you eat clean with no cheats! Probably reach it sooner! I'm over here cheering you onward and downward!!

I have been eating clean since May 15. I am feeling a lot less hungry but I still crave sweets. I am sure it will pass soon. I weighed myself and I am down another pound today, yay.

Maybe you need to eat a little more kcals? And as for the Sunday cleaning... it can wait for next Sunday -- seriously!

My mom was a clean freak -- well not that bad but almost. The older she got the less obsessive she would be about it. Then when I got married and had a fam of my own, she'd tell me how sorry she was about spending so much time cleaning instead of spending more time with us. We never thought that she didn't spend enough time with us, she was an awesome (stay at home) mom the type that had home made cookies or treats for us when we came home from school. And she said when she died, she didn't want people to just say "Wow she kept a clean spotless house!!" She passed 13 yrs ago, I miss her terribly...

Wow TMI sorry!!!

I got my cleaning done, yay. I know why my energy was low. I need to eat meat for breakfast not just eggs. I made some mini bacon wrapped meat loaves, ate 2 and now I am better.

Glad you figured out that you need more protein and a clean house to boot, you're rockin this!!! Do you know I only eat once a day? Loooong story short, if I eat more frequently I am literally hungry all day long... weird huh?

I only eat when I am hungry and it's usually twice a day and at times once. I am now 187.7 yayay. I think eliminating the cheese is the way for me right now. I need a better sugar free coffee creamer. I have tried carmel macchiato and vanilla carmel and they both leave an after taste. Do you have any suggestions?

HUGE on your weight loss!! I got rid of cheese 'cause I thought it was affecting my ability to lose the weight, 'cause I'd either stall or gain -- then I realized I was eating WAY too much because of my portion control issues, it was just safer all the way around not to have any more...period. The sacrifices we have to make sometimes to stay successful on our journey!!

I'm doing 1/2 & 1/2 (2 T = 40 kcals & 1 carb gram) because HWC has too many kcals for me. I mix that with Silk Almond Milk Unsweetened 8 oz = 1 carb and 30 kcals. I'm trying slowly to wean myself off the 1/2 & 1/2 so that I just use the Almond Milk - less carbs & kcals. I use Da Vinci SF Syrups for my sweetener in my coffee and I drink a boat load of coffee in the am... The flavors I use have no carbs and no kcals.

I'm trying to find the Silk Almond Coconut Milk Unsweetened Blend or just the Coconut Milk Unsweetened -- no luck in my small burg
