Quick question..... I noticed on the original sticky that you could have Matzoh Balls.
Doesn't the Matzoh contain carbs? IN essence it is just ground up unlevened bread. Or is there another way to make them? I sure would like to know. I've ordered the '72 book.. and am waiting.. the answer may be in there.. but until I get it if one of you have the answer that would be awesome. Thanks |

1972 Atkins Revolution Rolls
Hi, gang! I know someone had posted, on the 1st page, the Revolution Rolls recipe with cream cheese (3TBS), but the '72 book says to use cottage cheese. How much cottage cheese? Are we again lookin at 3 TBS?
I want to be sure I am doing the right thing because I LOVE THE REVOLUTION ROLLS! THANKS. Shea |

Yes, the original Revolution Rolls recipe calls for 3 Tablespoons of cottage cheese. It's on page 225 of my paperback book. These would be suitable for the second week, not induction.
For those who asked about beer, it is NOT listed as part of the allowed beverages in the '72 plan. |

MAVISif you email me your address I will mail off a copy of the 72 Atkins - I am in BC. I have three copies (don't ask) - email reid1707@hotmail.com
I am really surprised that Losin4good was able to get the 1972 at Coles - it is no longer sold in the stores only second hand shops carry it now. |

I just wanted to say that I was mistaken about the Revolution Rolls not being suitable for induction. I forgot to look at the sample menus before I posted that. They are definitely used during the first week.

Hi everyone.
I am on my fourth day of induction. and so far doing well.. Although I record all my food at ******, some of its still very confusing.I hoping to see results with this diet, it seems that everyone I read about has lost some weight to some degree.. When do you really start seeing results?? Also I tried those ketone strips.. and they are always a trace or so lat eat night early morning.. and by evening yesterday they were a dark purple.. why does this flexuate at night mainly? I don't eat anything with carbs before bed.. Is it perhaps because I am not active in the ev enings that it tapers out?Would love to hear some more opinions on how this diet works for you guys and the ktone question.. I am easily discouraged.... |

Still waiting for my book!!
It was supposed to be delivered by 1/11/07. I'm getting a little concerned, though my acknowledgement from Albilris said wait 30 days after the due date. I think that's a bit strange to have to wait 30 days after the due date to get the book.

I have ate the low carb way before but I have a question...it seems that most people lost but then gain wt back a lot. A lot of the posts mention this. Is it very tough to maintain on this diet because I want a lifestyle change to stop the yo yo effect.

Thanks so much for explaining that to me! Today I havent had it turn purple,so perhaps I hate to much yesterday (carbs). I goofed this morning and didn't realize when I had bacon that it was cured w/ sugar. So hopefully those pieces don't offset me too much. I' ll remember next time. Today is day four and I am quite proud I have made it this far!!!:P Anyhow Thanks again, and will talk with you all later |
