Lisa, I took care of my mother the last 2 years of her life and I was lucky she
was mentaly still 100% But even so it was a living hell. I was so stressed out that
when my mother finaly did die I almost had a breakdown and ended up picking up a bad
habit I thought I had broken 5 or 6 years earlier. Is there any possibility you could let her go back to the nursing home ? I know it's none of my business but I hate to see you
take this load on. Well I can't say anything else without geting my foot further in my mouth but as i said I have been there and feel for you.

Hi EW. If only! We are working on that. Honestly I had no idea the extent of her dementia. Visiting her in the nursing home for a few hours once a week did not provide me with an accurate picture of her deminished capabilities. Forgetful does not begin to describe it.
Anyway, on the bright side I have found 2 people to cover days and nights during the week. My mother is familiar with the daytime girl, thankfully.
I still need weekend coverage.
I am meeting with an eldercare attorney to clarify some financial issues.

Thank you for your concern. I'm taking deep breaths and not going snout first into the cookie jar so all is ok....for today.
