Cured is a very strong word. I would say I have been granted a remission from binge eating one day at a time by eating a structured low carb food plan and lost my weight in the process.

One binge leads to another for me. If I stick to a high fat, low carb foods & no artificial sweeteners diet for about 3 days the bing monster seems to be under control. The urge seems to disappear. However, it takes weeks to months to take off the weight I gained during binge type eating.

Not sure there will ever be a cure for me but I can tell you that sticking to a low carb diet really, really helps. I do fall off the wagon about 2x a month. After a binge sometimes it takes a day or two to start feeling better again. I feel so much healthier when I am on low carb, more energy and clear headed.
