MAJOR LCF POSTER!
|
Low Traffic?
I just wondered if this sub-forum is going downhill or just hasn't yet picked up. I'm all fired up about dealing with my addiction, whether the drug be alcohol, illegal drugs or carbs, so I was hoping there would be some traffic here.
But if this forum has been tried and just didn't draw a lot of conversation, then I won't rock the boat. On the other hand, if it just lacks some small push to bring it into activity, I can do that. I ain't doing anything else. |

Ah....
Well, I'll try leaving a few posts when I come by, on the principle that Traffic creates traffic. |

Louis, you could start a new thread about maintaining sobriety...that could be interesting. The Alcohol Problems thread has been around for years, and some of us who used to post about what was going on with us back then have moved on, and either sobered up or developed better habits...it's possible that people don't have the same issues to talk about now, BUT they might benefit from discussing their new, improved lives. I don't know--I'm just speculating.
The other thing to consider is that people tend to post in a state of crisis, and then they don't necessarily keep posting about it. The best way to create traffic is to start a thread and get the discussion going. ![]() |

Thanks, DG. There is still room for improvement, but I think I'm a lot calmer, saner, and more content with life. I will never go back to how it was.
