I cheated
Not on the diet.
But I did smoke. As soon as my husband came home, I forked them over and quit again. Now let's hope I don't go and eat a box of cookies. ![]() |

(((hugs)))
You didn't blow you quitting...I know every time I cheated, I felt like I had failed, so why even try again. BUT!! I'm here to tell you, that I smoked for 12 years and I quit cold turkey 3 1/2 years ago and if I can do it...ANYONE can...THIS MEANS YOU!! ![]() The one thing that saved me was SUNFLOWER SEEDS!! Smoking is all about the oral fixation, having something to do with your hands and your mouth at the same time, so shelled sunflower seeds are a great way to handle that fixation. Another thing that helped me was to know that any craving is like an anxiety attack; IT WILL ONLY LAST A MAXIMUM OF 3 MINUTES If you're having a mad craving, just time yourself and keep repeating this mantra: "I only have to make it thru this minute...any minute after that is not a concern" You only have to make it thru this minute...((hugs)) Christine |
