Mine has been a refined sugar and hybrid carbohydrate addiction!

I believe that a huge percentage of the worlds population suffers from this same addiction without knowing it.

America in particular!

I didn't know it!

It's only been the last year that I really got a grip on this.

It's a huge addiction!

I broke it and I hope for the same for the millions of young and old who suffer from this addiction!

Tom,

I agree with you. They throw all of that junk into our food, watch us get fat, then tell us we're weak for eating too much. The medical establishment seems to have a hard time recognizing that obesity is more than just eating too many calories and weight loss is just a matter of cutting calories. My DH, who can't gain weight even when he tries, asked me to explain to him today what it was that kept me putting on the weight even when I could see it was happening. I explained the constant hunger/gnawing in my stomach. At least researchers are learning about ghrelin, so maybe they'll be able to do something about it soon. On another good note, low carb diets are being recognized as healthy.

I agree 100% with you Tom. I think the food manufacturers know exactly what they are doing in the quest for the almighty dollar. "Get 'em addicted to the sugar and high fructose corn syrup and then we've got 'em." I mean, there's NO reason to put sugar in EVERYTHING! It's crazy but the good news is healthy, real food the LC way!

Most everybody can see that refined sugar is a dangerous stimulant drug that is addictive! Few can see that hybrid carbohydrates are the exact same thing!

Refined Sugar is like legal cocaine. I believe it got out of hand in the 80's.
