Thank you for starting the new thread

Last week and over the weekend I struggled with my binging behavior. I would be good for a day, then bad, good for 2 days, then bad. I was binging on anything from crackers to ice-cream and everything inbetween. I was not hungry, not sad, not depressed....I think I binge #1 when I am bored and #2 out of habit. ("it is lunch time, so I need to eat")

This week I am in better control. Each day is getting easier. When I binge I always get a stomach ache and headache, why do I keep doing it? Habit!!!

Today I have eaten exactly to plan (kimkins), I had one small handful of crackers and was able to stop at that. I am proud of myself that I was able to stop and yes, I have a tiny stomach ache.

May is going to be a good month! Wishing you all the best

I think I posted on last month's thread this morning ... oh well.

Today was much better. I drank ... you ready for this ... 140oz today! I can't believe it. What's really amazing? I find myself CRAVING WATER I feel thirsty all the time. I had a diet soda at dinner ... didn't finish it. I ordered a cheese burger and fries .. ate about 3/4 of the burger and halved the fries with the kids. We came home and ... I drank some more water!

I used to wonder how people drank so much water. Now I know.

I know for me.....it seems like the more water I drink the more water my body wants.

Weird, huh?

I haven't been doing very good on my water so far today ... good thing I have all afternoon to catch up. I don't want to rush it though and end up getting sick (it's still kinda frightening that WATER can KILL you) so I'm limiting myself to no more than 20oz per hour.

Good plan photomama. Many people dont know that excessive water can be deadly.

Im doing ok. Kinda in the dumps right now. I tired from getting up to early today plus I ate lunch late and over ate eggs. I think I ate eight of them and that is way to many cals at one time. Hopefully, I wont eat much else to night and not too much damage wil be done.

Ive also been OD on gum. This is not a good idea as it leads to gas and craving...........oh well. Seems I am compulisve with all foods even legal stuff. I alway over eat gum when dieting cuz it keeps my mouth busy and doesnt have to many cals.

Morning Ladies!

The scale was kind this morning. So far so good. I feel like I am focused this time. I dont even really ponder too much about eating things that interfer with my weightloss. I pray this continues until I reach goal. I would like to be at 169 for this wedding I am going to the on June 2. That means I need to drop 16.5 pounds over the next four weeks. That sounds so reasonalbe cuz when I do M/E right the weight melts off.

I went to the mall this weekend and was turned off by all the teeny-bopper clothes. Whats going on with all the 70's wild prints in bright colors. Yuck!!! The styles are weird to - looked like a mix between 70' & 80's bad fashion.

I am so dissapointed that Casual Corner does not exist any more. I love their clothes as they were very appropriate for work. JC Penny's had decent looking clothes for work. I really need some new shirts. I am holding out on buyiny pants until I can get back into the cute 8's hanging in my closet. Right now I only wear skirts to work cuz they are so forgiving.

So...........i ate dinner very late then overate cuz I was way too hungry and this morning the scale was three poumds up. Why couldnt I just go to bed!!!!

Skipping meals is so hard. I dont have the will power to do it yet. Probably cuz Im not in ketosis anymore due to a few shots I had this weekend. Duhh.

Oh well. I shall press on. Wish there was some pill I could take to eliminate my appetite. Ketosis helps but I stil want to overeat if I let myself get too hungry. I know.........dont let this happen but I always does.

Pros and Cons (for me) to drinking water with TOM ...

Pros: fights off the munchy monster; decreases cramps ... A LOT

Cons: headaches increase; major ... MAJOR bloating especially in the mid-section

We'll see what the scale has to say after TOM packs his bags. I'm going to continue on with my water drinking.

Do you know why headaches increase with water consumption. I typically get a headache when I dont drink enough not the other way around but everyone is diff.

I ran out of gum at work so thank goodness I will be forced to no chew.

Having a diet moutain dew right now. Doesnt taste all that great but it keeps the taste buds busy.

Also drinking my third 32 oz cup of water over the next two hours.

The funny thing is ... I haven't changed my water intake. The only thing that's changed is TOM's here. I usually get headaches with TOM but this time they seem worse. The only difference I can figure it the water ... KWIM. I'm thinking maybe my headaches have always been this bad but my cramps have always been worse. Now that my cramps aren't so bad, it gives me more time to focus on my headache ...

Eating wise ... I've already mentioned that I haven't had the munchies. So far today, I've had about 6 animal crackers and a burrito sized tortilla. Oh ... and a Diet "Dr Bold" To top it all off ... I'm on my third ... forth ... 20oz bottle of water. I haven't been counting ... I've just been drinking.

Morning

Well, me and the hubby are trying to lose the weight we gained when I was preggo. Its funny how men gain too.

Anywho, it really helps me stay focused now that he is totally on board. I find that not cooking dinner for a while helps both of us as we always over eat even if the meal is low carb and health overall. We both have this issue with potion control. Once we get ta eating its hard to stop and we just move from one thing to the next until satisfied.

Last night we had a light snack right after work then did not eat any more. This morning I felt so good.....lighter and more energetic. I was still sleepy but it was easier to get out the bed.

I hope we can continue this for the rest of the week.

GREAT JOB BRILLIANT (and hubby)!!

Well, I TRIED to be good last night. We went to JIB for dinner last night (no time to cook - DD had a circus to run) and I ordered the grilled chkn club salad. AFTER everyone else's food was ready, they came out and told me that they were out of salads Anyway, I ended up ordering a grilled chicken sourdough combo ... small but they brought me a SUPER to make up for not having what I wanted. Oh well, I shared the fries with the fam so I didn't eat it ALL. After dinner, I was so busy getting DD ready for her big show that I didn't have time to snack.

I'm like you, Brilliant ... I'm tired but I feel light ... er.
(Where's everyone else? It's just been me and you for the past few days.)

I'm here! I'm here!

I have been a naughty girl, shame-shame on me!!

I have been cheating and binging WAY TOO MUCH these last couple of weeks. TOM was a killer, it was late and all I wanted was carbs and sugar. Well it is over know and I am feeling much better.

Today the cravings are bad, but I am not giving in. I have told myself that I bust my butt way too much at the gym to give into animal crackers or cookies. I am keeping myself busy today with spring cleaning chores. Plus it is hot here today, when it is hot I have no appetite. I am not going to let them win!!

Hope all is well with you all! Have you been naughty or good?

I am eating very good finally. Prayfully it will last for a few weeks as I really want to get this extra fat off my body!! Every roll of fat reminds me of all the times I ate and said "one PACKAGE is ok" or "I know how to loose the weight so I can eat as much as I want"

Sporbik - good for you for coming back so fast. I find that when Im eating crap i have little interest in this website. This should be a major flag for me cuz it means my jeans are not gonna fit for much longer due to excessive binging.

Mine - use fitday faithfully. Keep cals under 1000 per day and dont eat after I leave work (5pm).

This is what I am doing right now. It always works and is somewhat easier when I am in ketosis. But i get cocky and eat something that messes this up. I also mess up when people start noticing the weightloss. I am not at that point yet but it will happen so I need to develop a mental counter attack.

You?

Q: What's your secret weight loss tip that works everytime if you would just keep doing it?
A: I only eat dinner and nothing else. I have a diet soda for breakfast with my daily vitamin, water between having my soda and dinner and then WHATEVER I want for dinner as long as it's only one serving ... this includes dessert!

Q: What do you do to avoid eating for fun?
A: Talk on the phone and/or IM ... I just need to find more people to talk to.

I think I might need to join you guys...wow...I have been struggling lately, really really struggling. I binge, i know i do...i just recently had a thought...i wonder if i am addicted to the bad feelings? Like, I am doing something that I KNOW is going to make me feel crappy about myself, so why do i do it.

I have a lot of issues...my mom used food to punish me as a kid, starved me some days, or when i got in trouble, would make me eat a whole jar of peanut butter at one sitting, or a bowlful of sugar, crazy stuff like that. So i have this deep seeded instinct, when everyone leaves the house, i find myself sneaking in the kitchen, 'hurry and eat' even though it is my house now.

i dont know how to get over that
