Beyond the Binge Saturday June 25

Hey ladies...

Went out last night, and discovered the joy of beer (light beer) and chicken wings! This place is right down the street from my house, and they use hot sauce (no breading) on their wings. I also buttered up the manager, and they're hiring after Canada day. Maybe I'll be able to get my foot in the door there. It would be better than my current job, where there is NO air conditioning (its 30 degrees C here) and the heat was actually ON until we turned it off last week.

Anyway, I'm off to work at the Discount Oven of Death for the afternoon.

good lord i cant imagine that. Any kitchen is hot esp during the summer time but with the heat on I'd be dying. I'm still not on plan, but i'm making okay eating choices which is better than nothing and I have yet to binge. I did have a couple of cookies last night but my calories were still under 1500 so I'm not going to obsess about it. I'm eating LC at most of my meals, meat and veggies ect but breakfast and snack time I just cant seem to get right.

The vet said yesterday that our new kitty Raven was doing much better and kept some food down yesterday and that if all goes well over the weekend we may get to bring her home monday or tuesday. I hope everyone is doing good this weekend and having some fun.

Good morning all!!

It has been a busy week for me. I have a few minutes this morning before the mad dash.

I attended a party last evening with family and friend I had not seen in many months. The reaction to my weight lose was uncomfortable...I mean people were gushing, and sayign things to my husband like "your wife looks fantastic...you must be so proud". Kinda weird. My husband is proud of me whatever my weight...but I know this made him proud as a peacock

Anyway, in the past this has always been the kiss of death for me. I think "wow, I look great now I can eat ________ again". Not this time. Having my DD struggle is enough to keep me on track...for today anyway.

We are going shopping at the outlet stores today with her $$ from graduation!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend! Schools over...no more monday morning till Sept!!

Smythe--I hope you and your daughter are doing well. I understand your uneasiness about the compliments. My thinking would be, "You think I look good now?! What did you think I looked like before?" As you can see I have several issues! You should be proud of yourself. You have put your mind to something and have fought the good fight.
