do you eat dreamfields??

I worry about it not being legal...the guilt kills me. I do not find that it causes cravings. My emotions are what cause craving...I think .

Anyway, I had a serving for lunch with some ground beef and veggies...now I feel like I cheated...

I feel silly even posting this. Maybe I feel like I need to eat the bland unsatifying diet in order to really be in recovery?
Who knows...

Smythe - We each have different foods that cause cravings or are trigger foods. There are many folks on here who eat Dreamfields with no consequences. I personally can't eat it due to allergies, but if it causes you no distress and you continue to lose eating it, then there is no problem. You are the only one who can judge if it is a problem food for you.

Thanks Mary-
I'm under the impression (I think) that I should no long enjoy food...that food should just be fuel...therefore if it tastes good, I feel like I've cheated.
This is where I get confused. Should there be joy in eating, or should there not. I know my joy is more like euphoria and that is off kilter, but do those not addicted get any joy out of eating?

Smythe, Of course, there is still joy when eating your meals. I have 3 beautiful colorful delicious meals a day with no snacks. I plan my meals ahead of time based on my food plan, The Cambridge Greysheet, which is through Greysheeters Anonymous. I shoot for making #10 meals, the bestest of the best. But I don't think about food all day long, I am not deprived and don't feel we need to feel deprived in our food selections.
