Just joined & really need a Buddy!

Hi! I'm rather confused on which plan I need to follow. There are so many out there ... Adkins, SBD, Dr. Phil, etc., etc. They all seem good, but I need a little motivation and guidance to get started and back on the right track. I do ok for a couple of days and then if I get into any sweets, I can hear it calling out my name. The worse part is that I had always had to watch my weight, and over a period of 2 years I lost 60 lbs. Boy, did I feel like on top of the world. Now over the past year, I've gone overboard and gained back 30 of those pounds. I feel miserable, and am so depressed over my failure to keep it off. I'm so depressed!! Once I start getting into any sweets, its so hard to quit, and I swear it calls out my name. I know I'm a carb addict. Can anyone help me?

There is a thread where you get matched up with a buddy on this forum. It is the Carb Addict Support thread.

I also use a support system from www.greysheet.org. They have phone meetings, sponsors, a food plan, with the 12 step approach, for carb sensitive individuals. If you are interested in listening in to a phone meeting, let me know and I will get you the number. There are no dues or fees. Just whatever your long distance carrier charges you. I have unlimited calling so it is free.
