WOE: One Day At A Time
|
Accountability - Week of June 28 to July 5
Well, the first time I tried to start this thread, I forgot to change the dates. How is everyone doing?
I had a post this morning, but deleted it when trying to delete the misnamed thread. Is anyone out there today? I'll check back in later. In the meantime, please check out the Grandbaby in progress thread. This is a miracle for us. DD and DSIL didn't think it was possible for them. Hi everyone,
I am taking it easy today. The last four days have been kind of stressful. The drive was hard because I was driving my DH's Jeep and was uncomfortable in it. Didn't go over 55 mph the whole way down and back. Just so glad to be home safe and sound. I am doing some cooking for the week and draining some yogurt. Got to do some housework and watch the soaps. I am reading the new book of stories named Overeaters Anonymous. It has stories of the founders of OA and the struggles they had in figuring out how to incorporate AA's steps into the OA program. I read a different story each day, along with a few pages of the Big Book. Glad you are all here.

Hi everyone,
I actually got some things done today. Plumber came and bathroom upstairs is finally complete. The only problem is that there is some linoleum adhesive on the new linoleum and I don't know what to use to get it off. Anyone have any ideas? Went to an OA meeting last night and this morning. It does help me to make it from one period of time to the next. Food is good and in its place. Thank you, God, for today. Wishing everyone a good day. |

My sponsor is out of town for the long weekend, so in addition to calling other OA people I thought I would post here in the accountably thread.
I don’t have much going on today, except an OA meeting tonight at 5:30. Other then that, I did a little housework, and I just sat down to watch the noon news. Lunch is all made, and I will eat around 1:00. Hope everyone is having a good day. Patti |

Hi everyone,
Got lots of errands to run today. Going to DD's this afternoon to help out. Went to a meeting last night. Great speaker. Very funny. It is so great to see people who are living in recovery, having lost huge amounts of weight and food doesn't control them anymore. They said they still have food thoughts but don't have to act on them. Choices and planning. And Prayer. Hope you all have a nice day. |

Hi, can I join this group?
Accountability is just what I need! For three months I have been in this cycle where my weight gets stuck despite doing everything right, I get discouraged and binge. Then I feel horrible both emotionally and physically and have a hard time getting back on the wagon. ; ) This happened last night and I ate two bowls of cereal and three pieces of toast while I prepared my kids' dinner. I didn't tell dh I had done this and ate the LC dinner he fixed later. I feel really hung over this morning. Puffy, headache, ick. Why don't I remember this feeling next time I consider cheating? lol
This is a new start for me. I know this WOE works for me if I give it a chance. I've lost over 40 pounds this way and never felt better. Thanks for letting me vent/confess. ![]()

Hi everyone, just checking in. DH and I got a lot of errands done today, but I still managed to get in my exercise at curves. I had an abstinent lunch out, which was okay, but no one makes a salad like I make at home.
Suzy, what you posted was the exact reason I went back to OA, I was stalled, and my eating was out of control. I do much better with boundaries around my food, and accountability. |
