Discuss topics related to compulsive overeating, bulimia, anorexia, smoking, alcoholism, narcotics addiction/pain killer addiction, etc here.

Tom, will the Admins be "Moving" threads that have to do with Addictions, like they do with the Health/Medical thread in order to make users aware that this thread is here?

The moderators do their best to move threads to the proper forum, but due to the large volume of posts each day, it would help a lot if you all could help us. If you see threads in other forums that belong here, please just click on the "Report post to moderators" link to draw the attention of the moderators to it. Thanks!

I am a newbie to Low Carb Friends and was psyched to see an addictions forum. I find that when I start to lose weight, I want to pick up one of my other addictions (alcohol, drugs, sugar). Thanks!

Hey I am not really have an addiction. Beside my soft drinks and chocollate. I crave them but I think I am control. I have them only I am passed the just gotta have it. Phase.

Today is Monday, and I feel like I just got hit by a truck. My body and boobie are sore. I suffer with fibrocystic disorder and I always feel like crap until I get my mine and body together. Anyway, today is my first day to start on the road of many journeys. I have to lose 80 lbs on my short foot ball player looking body. It has been years since I have been happy with my body. As a matter of fact, I have never been happy with my body. I think reduction starts with the mine and heart. One must feel good inside first, and then it can start on the outside.

Any way, as I said before it is Monday, 8ish, and another day has started. I have a summer job working at the pool (Locker room) today. I would love to get in the pool, but I have to work. One a raining day, the coach said he was going to teach me how to swim when the kids want be coming to the pool.
