Hi everyone, we finally got all our things moved into the new house. But we still have alot more boxes to unpack. Yesterday I only got to three of them because my back was hurting and I had to lay down and rest up.
But we are slowly getting them unpacked and out away. I have a bunch of things I don't want anymore so they are being packed up to give to GoodWill.
Never knew we had so much.

Hope you all are doing good today. Are you all still watching the carbs or not? I have been doing ok on mine in spite of all the moving. While we were moving everything in I sent my hubby to the store and he picked up me a salad from the grocery deli so He came home again yesterday with two more for me, hope they keep in the fridge ok.
We have not had to chance to go really buy groceries yet because we have always been in a hurry to get home to finish moving everything.
But i am eating ok.

Easter is coming up soon and lets remember what its all about and not forget that our Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead so we could recieve the Holy Spirit and someday be with HIM in heaven.

See you all later. God Bless You Always.

Here is my Bible verses for the day.....
---------------------------------------------
Ecclesiastes 3
[1] To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
[2] A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
[3] A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
[4] A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
[5] A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
[6] A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
[7] A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
[8] A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
[9] What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
[10] I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
[11] He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
[12] I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
[13] And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
[14] I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
[15] That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
[16] And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
[17] I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
[18] I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
[19] For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
[20] All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
[21] Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
[22] Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

Maybe God was wanting us to read that chapter in Ecc. for a reason.
You know He works in mysterious ways.

Mary, I think you are right. One thing I have been dealing with is that it seems like time is going by so fast and that scares me. I keep praying that God will slow down time for me.
I have made a commitment not to worry about time anymore but just enjoy each and every day to the fullest.

Oh Momma Patty, don't you worry your pretty head about things like that.
Our Lord is going to call each of us home sometime and when He does, we will be so ready!

Yes, we need to live each day for Him and be thankful everytime He allows us to wake up to another day to live in Him!
Just knowing that He has our lives in His care and is in control of it all, it so comforting.

Time is going by fast, but at least we're in Him and not lost!

Diana I know that you are right and I am learning this. I was reading in my prayer journal and a few months back, just about every day, I would ask the Lord to slow time down. It's just been this last week that I have discovered that I need not worry about it.

How is the weather over there? We are having some pretty awesome weather here, it's in the 70's. Then the rest of the week is going to be in the upper 70's to the low 80's! Wow!!

Our weather has been nice for the last couple of days. It got into the 80's yesterday and into the 70's today. The next two days is only supposed to be in the upper 60's, and then warm back up again. I will be glad when it gets warm enough that I can get outside in the morning with my decaf coffee and enjoy.

Oh that sounds so good, having coffee outside. Do you have one of those big "Gone With The Wind" type porches, Miss Patty!

We need to clean our back yard up. With all the rain we've had, we've got tons of weeds popping up, and our yard is so green now. Normally we have dried up grass.

It's so nice now!

Gooood Morning!

I hope everyone has a blessed morning and day!

I am requesting prayer, as of this morning I am beggining to lose my voice, feeling like a cold is coming on. I know it's an attack from the very devil and I'm claiming my healing from calvary! Plz keep me in yours prayers through out the day.

I need my voice for ministry...I teach adult learners and don't really know sign language.....so my voice is key!

Thanks in advance

Diana I have a really nice covered deck on the back of our house facing the lake. We just really love it. Henry tiled it and we put a tile medallion in the center of it. That is our favorite place to be.

Dedicated Prayers for you Sweetie. Take good care and I know the good Lord is going to take care of this.

Morning Momma Patty!

Oh your deck sounds so wonderful!! I can just picture it and you and your DH sitting out there, holding hands!

I love sitting outside too! I hope we can get our backyard cleaned up so we can do that soon.

I just had a visit from my sister this morning, she came by the office to say hi and to make plans for lunch tomorrow. That will be nice!

How are you doing this morning? What's on the agenda?

Diana Well I was trying to clean this morning, but Henry is taking a nap in his recline. He had been up since 3:30 this morning and he came home from work early. He said it was too cold and windy for him to stick around and play golf. Hope your day is going well.

I'm doing good so far! Just waiting for the boss (my dad) to come back to the office.
Other than that, it's such a beautiful day outside! I wish I didn't have to work.

It was a small country store, but we served sandwiches there besides the meats that we sold. I ran the whole thing. It was just me and Henry's Mother worked with for a couple of years and then I run it for 4 years by myself...

Is it as hard as it seems to run a store?

I always wanted to have a small restaurant, but wouldn't even know how to go about it.

There is a lot of work to it, but it isn't really that hard. You have paperwork that you have to do every day and of course during the week you have a lot salesmen that you have to order from, but once you get the hang of it, it goes like clockwork...

I think having a restaurant would be harder. You have deal so much more with supply and demand.

That is true! It seems like it would be easy because of how those on the Foodnetwork make it seem.
But I'm sure it's alot of hours on your feet, paperwork, taxes, payroll and on and on!

Actually, my greatest aspiration was just to be a stay at home wife! Now that's more rewarding to me!!

Hello everyone. Isn't it a wonderful day today. The Lord has blessed us in so many ways. For us He has given us a new home and I have even met new friends in my neighborhood to.
How has He blessed you today?
We are to thank God everyday for all our blessings no matter how large or small they may be.
See ya later.
God Bless You Always

Here is my Bible reading for today.

----------------------------------------------------

Mal.3
[1] Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to this temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
[2] But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
[3] And he shall sit as a refiner and purifer of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
[4] Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
[5] And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
[6] For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
[7] Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
[8] Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
[9] Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
[10] Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
[11] And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
[12] And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
[13] Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
[14] Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
[15] And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
[16] Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
[17] And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
[18] Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Mal.4
[1] For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
[2] But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
[3] And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
[4] Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
[5] Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
[6] And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
