I have been cleaning this morning and I got my living room done, bedroom and kitchen. I have to vacuum the foyer and 2 upstairs baths. Then do the downstairs...

I have a little over 1500 sq ft and it seems like a lot for me!

My house is about 3,500 sq ft, but I am glad that we bought it because when we have company we need the extra room.

Yes, we really love our home and so blessed to have it. We bought it as a fixer up and we have all the bottom done but not the top half finished yet. We want to totally remodel the
kitchen and master bath and put in wood floors upstairs.

Oh I love wood floors! Your house sounds so beautiful!

That's what my husband and I are in the process of doing too. We're slowly fixing it up. He's already installed carpet in the livingroom, then we're going to put 12x12 faux travertine in the kitchen, dining, familyroom and bathrooms. The master bedroom, and 2 spare bedrooms will get new carpet too.
We'll probably stretch that out for a couple of years, then we'll sell and move one last time, God willing!

Do you buy and fix up houses regularly. It is a lot of fun but hard work. We did the bottom half in two and a-half years, and we had planned on getting it done in 5 years. If we finish the top half we are going to have to do it pretty soon. Henry is really getting wore down. He says he isn't young anymore..

Actually no, we bought this house to live in. It needed some fixing up and now we are finally able to do some work on it. But now that we've been in the house, we didn't forsee the hectic road we live in front of, plus the elementary school across the street from us and the high school next to it.

The good thing is, my parents live right around the corner, my neices and nephews go to the schools here, so I get to see them regularly!

Enjoy your family all that you can. My Mom and Dad are gone and our daughters and their families live three and a-half and four and a-half hrs. from us, so we do get to see them near as much as I would like. When you get my age, you really get to missing your family.

HELLO LADIES
I AM BACK HOME. I HAD A NICE VISIT WITH MY MOM. SHE SEEMS LIKE SHE IS DOING PRETTY GOOD FOR BEING 89 YRS OLD.

I TOLD HER ABOUT US HAVING THE BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR HER 90TH IN APRIL AND SHE WAS SORTA UPSET ABOUT IT AT FIRST. THEN I TOLD HER THAT HER ONLY LIVING BROTHER(MY UNCLE JOE) WAS GOING TO TRY TO BE THERE. THEN THE SHE CHANGED HER TUNE. SHE WAS HAPPY ABOUT IT THEN.
SHE WOULDNT LET ON IF SHE LIKED IT OR NOT ANYWAY. THAT'S JUST MOM.

I LOST 2.8 LAST WEEK. I WENT TO WW AT QUINCY WHERE MOM LIVES AND WEIGHED. SO I LOST THE ONE I GAINED THE WEEK BEFORE PLUS ONE. SO NOW I HAVE TO SEE HOW I DO THIS WEEK.
IT SURE IS A BATTLE. BUT IT IS THE LORDS!!! AND I KNOW WE WILL WIN!!!

WORLDCHANGER GOT THE CHANCE TO EMAIL ME FROM THE LIBRARY AND SAID SHE MAY LOSE THE CHILDREN TO A FAMILY WANTING TO ADOPT THEM. SO THAT IS GOOD. BUT YET BAD AS SHE REALLY LOVES THOSE TWO LITTLE ONES.

SO PLEASE LIFT HER UP IN YOUR PRAYERS.SHE TRIED TO LOG IN HERE BUT SHE SAID SHE COULDNT GET IT TO WORK AND SHE DIDNT HAVE TIME TO TRY IT AGAIN.

I feel bad for WorldChanger, but she did something so wonderful! She gave those children love and respect and she brought the Lord in their lives! That is something that can never be taken away from the them because the Lord will watch over them and protect them!

Tell her that I'll be praying for her!!!

And good job on your weight loss, that's better than gaining! Keep it up, you will get to your goal!!! I am persistant now to lose! We are going to lose and we will win the battle of the bulge!!!

The scales have been up the last 2 days and all I have had is Salad and Cereal. It must be the croutons . They are probably loaded in salt. Anyway, maybe I will figure this out.

just wanted everyone to know that we got moved into our new house. I still have the garage full of boxes to unpack yet. But some friends of mine are coming over Thursday to help me unpack them. My hubby and i unpacked alot yesterday. I never knew we had so much.
Thinking about having a garage sale maybe next month sometimes to get rid of alot of things we don't use anymore.
The move has worn me out and my knees are really hurting me so I have been doing alittle at a time and resting alot to.

I changed my email service to and I also changed my email on here so you all could PM me if you wanted to.

Start Date: Dec.4, 2008/ I'm losing it, pounds that is !!!	Do you buy and fix up houses regularly. It is a lot of fun but hard work. We did the bottom half in two and a-half years, and we had planned on getting it done in 5 years. If we finish the top half we are going to have to do it pretty soon. Henry is really getting wore down. He says he isn't young anymore..

It needed some fixing up and now we are finally able to do some work on it. But now that we've been in the house, we didn't forsee the hectic road we live in front of, plus the elementary school across the street from us and the high school next to it. The good thing is, my parents live right around the corner, my neices and nephews go to the schools here, so I get to see them regularly!

My Mom and Dad are gone and our daughters and their families live three and a-half and four and a-half hrs. from us, so we do get to see them near as much as I would like. When you get my age, you really get to missing your family.
