Hi Berta, that's good to know that we are all on the same page here with that question. It's so refreshing to see a Pastor who can admit when they don't know something. I don't expect them to know everything because we are always learning something new all the time. That is awesome Berta!

Hi Momma Patty! How are you today!

I am so upset today, well I don't know if it's really being upset, but I'm kind of feeling withdrawn in a way.

My face this past weekend started getting red, like rosacea in the cheeks, nose and forehead/brow area. I don't know why, but it started when I bought this new moisturizer. Well it seems like it started then. I stopped using it, but it burns and it's dry and flakey. I feel terrible because it's making feel self-conscience about my face.

I bought a product called Sea Buckthorn with cucumber. I started a thread asking about the rosacea and someone told me to use that, so I'll see how it works.

I do like Aveeno soap too! In fact I used to use that not too long ago but changed to something else. I should go back to that, but I bought this other cleanser, so I'll see how it works.

Berta, how did you like the poem? I have always like that poem for some reason, it seems that ever time I read it now it makes me get on my knees and pray and talk to God.

I have been on the phone most the day getting my electric, water, garbage service, and cable turned on at our new house. All it will be on tomorrow for us except the cable TV and it will be Saturday morning before they can come out. They have to run wires for it because the house does not have any on it yet. I will be getting my cable TV, my telephone and internet service all coming in on one bill which will be the Cable. I just got their package plan like our daughter has at her house.
I know she will be happy to have her home back to herself. We have stayed with her long enough and don't want to wear out our welcome...

DID YOU BUY OR BUILD YOUR NEW HOME?I have always wanted my own home but could never affor what i wanted and then when my hubby and i met we were to old to buy anything we never have it payed off and then it would be just another thing to worry about when the other was gone.

So we are very content with renting, We have a nice duplex and like it here alot!No upkeep or insurance to worry about either

MY DR RECOMENDED AVEENO SINCE I HAVE DIABETES AND THE DRY SKIN TAHT GOES ALONG WITH IT. IT HELPS ME ALOT. I USE TO BE ABLE TO TAKE MY SLACKS OFF AND ESPECIALLY IF THEY WERE BLACK AND THERE WOULD BE OLD NASTY DRIED SKIN ALL OVE THE INSIDE OF THE PANT LEGS BUT NOT WHEN I USE THAT.

WELL I HOPE YOU FIGURE OUT SOMETHING. I WOULD BE SELF CONSCIENCE(SPELLING?) ABOUT IT ALSO. BUT YOU ARE STILL BEAUTIFUL!!

AND YES, IT WAS SO VERY NICE TO HAVE DH HERE TODAY. WE ENJOYED OUR DINNER AND HE INVITED MY DAUGHTER AND GRANDSON TOO. SO WE ALL WENT OUT FORF DINNER.

I HAVE TO TAKE HIM BACK TO HIS TRUCK AT MIDNIGHT. THEN I AM LEAVING IN THE A.M. TO GO TO MY MOTHERS FOR A FEW DAYS.
SO I WILL NOT BE BACK UNTIL SATURDAY EITHER.

I'm so happy that my face is clearing up! Berta the more I thought about what you said, the more it made sense to me that I was having an allergic reaction to the moisturizer I was using. I looked at the ingredients and they have to things on there that have benzone in them! That is a drying ingredient, isn't that? I bet that's what did that to my face.
So this Sea Buckthorn stuff I'm using is working and my face feels alot better.

Well girls the eating one meal a day, is really working. I have lost another 1.2lbs. since last Wednesday. I have now lost a total of 7.2 lbs, in 3 and 1/2 weeks...

I eat that 1 meal in a 1 hr. period, nothing after or before. I have lost 7lbs so far on it. I couldn't lose on LC...

Diana I had really bad acid reflux last night, and I want you to stand and pray with me that God will deliver me of this disease. I would appreciate it so much. My throat is even irritated today because of it and stomach is a little upset. I know God can take care of this.

I will Momma Patty, and I even stand and believe that God will show you what to eat and what not to eat as well, what is good for your body and not good. I pray that He will direct you to the right foods to eat to keep this from happening.
