WELL LADIES I GAINED THIS WEEK. 1.8 LBS AND I THINK IT WAS BECAUSE OF ALL THE POPCORN I ATE LAST WEEK AND THE SALT. I DONT KNOW ANY OTHER REASON WHY I WOULD HAVE GAINED AS I STAYED ON PLAN.

BUT THANK GOD I HAVE ANOTHER WEEK TO GIVE IT A GO!!

I HAVE A PRAYER REQUEST...

I TALKED TO WORLDCHANGER YESTERDAY FOR A FEW MINUTES AND SHE HAS BEEN LAID OFFSHE WAS SO CONCERNED ABOUT THAT HAPPINING AND ASK US ALL TO PRAY. BUT GOD HAD OTHER PLANS EVIDENTLY.

SHE ASK ME TO TELL YOU ALL WHY SHE ISN'T ON HERE AND SO THAT IS WHY. SHE DOESNT HAVE A PC AT HOME ONLY ON HER JOB.SHE SAID IF SHE GETS NEAR A PC AND CAN GET ACESS TO IT SHE WILL POST. AND THAT SHE MISSES YOU ALL TERRIBLY!

SHE WAS ALSO CONCERNED ABOUT losing THE CHILDREN WITH NO JOB. BUT THEY TOLD HER IT WOULD BE OKAY. PRAISE THE LORD FOR THAT

THAT WOULD HAVE BROKEN HER HEART EVEN WORSE THAN LOSING HER JOB!

SO ANYWAY PLEASE KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS. SHE SEEMED OK WITH IT AND SAYS SHE KNOWS GOD WILL PROVIDE.BUT I KNOW SHE HAS TO BE CONCERNED ANYWAY I KNOW I WOULD BE.

ALSO HER YOUNGEST DAUGHTER IS THINKING OF MOVING BACK TO WHERE SHE LIVES AND SHE WAS REALLY HAPPY ABOUT THAT TOO.IT IS HERE BABY AND SHE REALLY, REALLY MISSED HER.SO I KNOW THAT IS GOING TO HELP HER SOME ALSO.

You know what's interesting and what I've been learning in the bible is, all that have become spiritual were at first in the natural. No one in the bible became spiritual in the beginning until they first heard the Word of God. And that applies to all in the OT. If you look at everybody in the OT, they first did their own thing, but until the Lord spoke to them, and they believed, that's when their life turned around.

Same as the NT. All those who Jesus called, did not know Him, they were all sinners. But when Christ came and told them who He was and what He came here to do, they believed Him. Belief is what God asks us to do, to believe on Him.

So basically, we all start from the natural and living as our flesh saw fit. But when we heard the Word and believed, the Spirit of God filled us and now we live according to the Spirit.

Berta, when you talk to WorldChanger again, tell her I miss her too and I will be lifting her up to the Lord.

I know that He has plans for her, so she can provide for her children! HE will bring her a better job! He is sovereign and He is in control of this too, He will not let her go jobless!

THE WORD TELLS US WE ARE ALL BORN INTO SIN. THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS NO NOT ONE!

ANOTHER THING I FIND JUST INCREDIBLY AWESOME IS THAT GOD CHOSE US!

Hi Berta,
I used be a hairstylist back in the early Eighties, but gave it up in the late Eighties. Too much of a wild life style. Thank God I retained some skill to continue to cut, but just family. I cut my DH all the time.

My niece is so happy about her hair cut. I'm amazed that I was able to do what I did. I know that God gave me the ability to do this and bless my niece!

Diana I wish we lived close together so that you could cut my hair. My cousin is wanting me to cut my long locks off. She says it makes me look like an old woman but hey I am 60, so what does she want?

LOL, I wish I lived near all of all you! You wouldn't be able to get me out of your house!!!

I wear my hair long too and probably always will. I say, wear your hair how you want it, but at least get it trimmed. Sometimes it's easier to have shorter hair, but it's all a personal preference.

I do not see how anyone can cut their own hair. I would never try that.
But I guess if you can do it then you can save a lot of money by not going to the beauty salon. I get mine trimed every six weeks and colored to.

A minister passing through his church
in the middle of the day,
Decided to pause by the altar
and see who had come to pray.

Just then the back door opened,
a man came down the aisle,
The minister frowned as he saw
the man hadn't shaved in a while.

His shirt was kinda shabby
and his coat was worn and frayed,
the man knelt, he bowed his head,
then rose and walked away.

In the days that followed,
each noon time came this chap,
each time he knelt just for a moment,
a lunch pail in his lap.

Well, the minister's suspicions grew,
with robbery a main fear,
He decided to stop the man and ask him,
"What are you doing here?"
The old man said, he worked down the road.
Lunch was half an hour.
Lunchtime was his prayer time,
for finding strength and power.
"I stay only moments, see,
because the factory is so far away;
as I kneel here talking to the Lord,
this is kinda what I say:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I
THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY.

The minister feeling foolish,
told Jim, that was fine.
He told the man he was welcome
to come and pray just anytime.
Time to go, Jim smiled, said
"Thanks." He hurried to the door.

he'd never done it before.
His cold heart melted, warmed with love,
and met with Jesus there.
As the tears flowed, in his heart,
he repeated old Jim's prayer:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.

and with a winsome smile;
"the nurse is wrong, she couldn't know,
that in here all the while
everyday at noon He's here,
a dear friend of mine, you see,
He sits right down, takes my hand,
leans over and says to me:

Hi Berta, that's good to know that we are all on the same page here with that question. It's so refreshing to see a Pastor who can admit when they don't know something. I don't expect them to know everything because we are always learning something new all the time. That is awesome Berta!

Hi Momma Patty! How are you today!

I am so upset today, well I don't know if it's really being upset, but I'm kind of feeling withdrawn in a way.

My face this past weekend started getting red, like rosacea in the cheeks, nose and forehead/brow area. I don't know why, but it started when I bought this new moisturizer. Well it seems like it started then. I stopped using it, but it burns and it's dry and flakey. I feel terrible because it's making feel self-conscience about my face.

I bought a product called Sea Buckthorn with cucumber. I started a thread asking about the rosacea and someone told me to use that, so I'll see how it works.
