It is awesome to have my kids on fire too. Well, obviously my older ones are really on fire and my little ones are sparked. There is so much joy in seeing my 4y/o bow her head and seek God. Her relationship with Him is so neat to see. She pours her little heart out to Him and is learning to trust Him in all things. I am glad I have learned somethings over the years and am able to lead.

Foster kids, eh? Fabulous. My husband and I have always had such a passion for kids and think so highly of those who foster and try to change the world for these little ones. We too would like to foster some day. WTG. How long have you been a foster parent?

About that weight loss thing...How embarrassed I was to lose it and gain it. I knew I was gaining it back, but I seemed not to care. New year. New goals.

Tell me, how did you handle 2 weddings in one year? Wow. I have a long way to go for that.

I will start with the two wedding the first was my sons AND HE AND MY DAUGHTER INLAW did the whole thing without me it was so much fun to be apart of and not have to do any work. I enjoyed it all. But my daughters wedding was very stressful because I live in ca. and she lives in Ga. but wanted her wedding here so all of her friends could come. SO me, my other daughter and my son inlaws grandmother here did all the leg work for her and I had to do most of the decorating by myself no fun at all People that were suppose to help backed out on the day of the wedding I AM NOT SURE I HAD A GODLY ATTITUDE ABOUT THAT But that is all gone and over and it all turned out beautiful. As for fostering I started last May 2006 and at that time I got the little girl Daniel she was 2-1/2 she has been a pleasure. Then in Nov. 2006 I got her 7 yr old brother Richard who has been quiet a challenge. They have both been out of their mother home since july 2005 this is Richards 5th or maybe 6th different home placement in 2-1/2 yrs so you can imagine what that would do to his self confidence. So he acts out in ways that are not a lot of fun to deal with. But with love and structure. I have seen a big change in him in a little over two months. I am loving teaching them about God they are learning to praise him at church with the flags and Richard loves that. I just started teaching them about giving offering to God they did UNDERSTAND WHY THEIR FATHER IN HEAVEN WOULD WANT THEIR MONEY Neither have a relationship with their fathers. So I am teaching them that they can always talk to their father in heaven.. But Daniel does say she wants to see him. She tells me alot that her father in heaven is singing to her which i believe he could be. They are a part of a family with 5 children all different dads. I know God sent them to me It is not easy but with the ladies here their encouagement and Gods help, my mom and I are doing it.

I am Married to a wonderful Man, Have to Beautiful Daughters and Five Grandkids...

I live on the lake where we retired in 200 and I always say this is Gods Country...

I was saved when I was 9 years old thanks to my Aunt Phillis who brought my Mom, Me and my Brothers to church and we gave our lives to God. I'm not saying that I always walked the way I should but I have always been close to God and felt him in my Heart. I knew he was with me no matter what I did and I am just so thankful that he left the Holy Spirit to teach us and guide us all through our lives. Again I say Good is Good and it is so nice to meet you.

Ladies I have a virus so that is why I am just now on. I was up a lot last night and I am just chilling today, trying to get over it.

For some strange reason I have been dreaming a lot lately about my Husbands Mother that passed away in 1995. What do you suppose that means? I have dreamed some about my Mother who passed away in 1998. This is baffling me...

Hope you are feeling better Patty. I don't know about dreams. I know God can give you dreams, I am pretty sure the devil can suggest dreams to you since he battles us through our minds, and I believe we just randomly dream too. Now check this out...I read your post yesterday and thought about it for a minute or two and then didn't think back about it til this morning. Well apparently it stuck deep in my mind or something, because lo and behold, I dreamt of my mother last night. lol I like it when I dream of her. It rekindles our relationship. My mom died about three years ago. She was 61 and I was 35 and pregnant with my littlest. What a difficult thing. God has really pulled me through it. She is worshipping Him as we speak so I am happy. BTW I hope you are feeling better.

Diana, thank you so much. These first few days are always the hardest aren't they? Trying to bust that sugar craving. argh!! I am so excited to be going to see tobyMac. He is touring with Jeremy Camp and Matthew West. We just bought two more tickets last night and decided to take our 14 and 10 year old. (Well she will be 11 by the time the concert comes!!)

Worldchanger, that is awesome. I feel for the little tike, Richard. I can't imagine what it must feel like besides out of control. He must have had never had a sense of security. Which we all know kids need and crave. It is wonderful and a blessing for you to be able to give that to him. And to then to be able to instill in him Christ. Wow. That is awesome. I love our God. It is also wonderful that the two of them are together. So did you have her since she was a newborn?

Well, I am already energized. That didn't take long. I woke up with my husband this morning and stayed up...haven't done that in a long time.
I am going to WalMart today to get a new scale. I had a real nice WW digital scale. Well my precious two year old decided it needed a bath. The first bath it had, I was able to dry it out but this bath seemed to take it's last breath. I am going to see if I can just replace the battery first...it's one of those funky round batteries. It would be nice to opnly have to spen $2 compared to $22.

Do you guys do a verse of the day or prayer lists or anything like that?

Alot of the time, Mary and Tammy will post a devotional or what they learned in church on here. Most of the time we are giving praise reports and we also have prayer requests too.

It's awesome how we have the freedom to do things like that here!!!

I am really excited today. I lost 2lbs. total for my week and ended up losing 4.8lbs. in a week and a-half so I made my goal of 2lbs met for lat week. I am trying for a 2lb. loss every week until I get to my goal...

Patty, I dream quite often myself about my son who passed away in 2002. I even see him in my dreams and talk to him. Don't know if it is from God or what but when I awake I always feels so good inside after talking to my son in my dreams. Maybe its just my heart talking and seeing him, I am not sure but this happens a lot.
Just got in from the Bible study I have been going to on Wednesday mornings. We are having it at one of the girls home. Its really relaxing and fun and I have been learning a lot to.
I had to stop by Wal Mart on the way home to pick up a shirt I saw in there the other day that I wanted but did not buy then, so I got it today. Like I really needed another shirt but I just had to have it........
Not much else going on with me, how about you all? I know you stay busy all of you..

Tiffani I got Daniel when she was 2-1/2 I have had her 10 months now. I know Daniel is a little strange for a girls name but her mom named her after her father.

I'm so full! I ate a chicken taco salad and realized halfway through it has beans in it!!! I ate it anyway, no I feel so full and yucky!!!!

Well, I'l learn my lesson to ask what is in something before I order it!

Worldchanger, I am glad you don't have to pay taxes. Isn't that great? We are not so lucky. We have to pay in about $1,800.00 this year, with State and Federal, but we were able to save it this month, so we have it to pay... Jeez it seems like a person can't get ahead...
