Oh definitely! I've considered that Brandon could have hacked and mimiced his mom's writing style for her or she dictated to him. Maybe they feel they're dead meat anyway so a blog hack would just be a small blip in their new forthcoming criminal records?

i really think whoever is doing whatever at the yucky site...is obviously attention-seeking.

i wouldn't give him/her the satisfaction of letting him/her have that attention by speculating over here about what's going on...especially since it seems to me to be another distraction/diversion that's unnecessary.

I doubt if it were Brandon. If it was, he did it from a friend's computer because it's too easy for a pro to trace an amateur hacker to the computer used. It could be someone completely unrelated to the stakes having a bit of fun with a hot Internet topic. It's no fun hacking if people don't notice or comment on it, right?

At a conservative estimate, there are eleventy million people interested in the Kimkins scam; so a hack will get noticed.

But it serves no useful purpose. I'd think hacking the Fascination thread would be far more productive.

In any case, I really hope someone reports this to the proper authorities. At the very least this has gotten me more interested in what to do if an internet crime occurs. Has anyone heard from the YY team yet?

If someone hacks using someone else's IP it won't matter, because all the activity done will be recorded on the hard drive. If the police are given a lead as to who the hacker is, any equipment used in the crime could be promptly confiscated, and subjected to forensic retrieval.

Jo, that is NOT a Captain Morgan rant! It is fairly well-spelled, fairly humorous, fairly well-educated. It also has a slight French accent - I imagine Brandon or Heidi would tend more towards Spanish. It's funny. Heidi is not this funny.

Well whatever "rant" it was, it was typed in bubble gum pink crypto-ese. It's hard on the eyes.

Cutie's right - this is just a diversion. Except this time the diversion is illegal and can be reported.

The reason I think it's a diversion is because it talks about how we should worry about the ones "left behind" and the person who helped Kimmer. Well for heavens sakes it's hard to help people who don't want to be helped and most of us don't have access to them and number two - this is clearly just another transparent attack on Tee Pee Toes.

I disagree with the hacker - Kimmer is not over yet. She's still recieving money, new members, and she's still in business.
