TT has left Kimkins and *was posting at Amy's Eating Low site. She didn't disclose who she was to the members until she was outed by HoneyBee. Posted an explanation of sorts ...note why she left. SL visited. She didn't answer any of our questions, just addressed the police report issues concerning the alleged phone calls she got. It appears she's still at KK.
AmyB was banned. No warning, nothing. Now anyone that mentions AmyB or TT are being locked out and their posts deleted.
There was mention of a carpet bombing at KK with information about TT being gone and her posting at Amy's.
I think that about covers it since the deposition. If I forgot anything could someone please add? TIA!

I brought on my boss and two co-workers onto Kimkins. I also brought on other friends. Fortunately, they didn't stick to it so they never experienced the problems that I did.

In hindsight, I feel really stupid for touting Kimkins and even berating them for not sticking to it. After I warned them of the fraud, they all laughed and let me have it. I took it like a man and I consider this my way of remedying the situation.

But here's a sad thing......none of them are interested in a refund or signing up for the lawsuit. Basically, their whole attitude is "oh, it's just another diet that failed me." I think that is infuriating. I can't control them, but this is the kind of weakness that people like Heidi prey on.

I've actually been thinking about this as I've been reading this thread the last few days, I usually just lurk and only posted a couple times on this thread so I hope you don't mind me butting in again but... I think anyone who knows someone that joined kk should try to appeal to them again to join the lawsuit.

I get the whole "Oh, it's just another diet thing that didn't work for me" mentality, but after everything that Heidi has done, isn't it worth it to join the lawsuit, not for the money, but for the principle of the thing? I don't know how many people have signed up to take part in the suit but I sometimes get the impression it's not a whole lot (I would love to be wrong about that). Either way, the more people who are involved the better. Why take the chance that Heidi might get away with this and keep all of that money? Even if you don't care about getting your money back, don't let Heidi have it. If nothing else, sign up for the lawsuit and if you get your money back donate it to charity.

BTW- Maybe I missed it somewhere but has anyone figured out what the real deal is with the foster kid situation yet?

I do think if they join the lawsuit, then people will think more kindly of them. However, Tippy is permanently banned from HERE and her threads have been deleted over at Amy's. There are several other sites she could join, I'm sure.
Singinglass has not been banned here, although I think she is moderated. So, she could find a new home more easily, I think.

Despite her protests to the contrary, I believe she personally banned many people, and that many of those she banned did nothing to deserve it. If she is smart, she will join the lawsuit and get an attorney. Oh wait! My bad, I was talking about TT, and she has never been known for her brains, but rather the lack of them.

Can someone please post a link so I can read the deposition? My computer has been out of commission for a week and a half, and I just got it back today. I am behind by about 25 pages (or more).

At the risk of sounding like an uncaring scoundrel, I am going to ask where is all this drama being referenced and who is causing it on your board? Is it all the fault of ours here at LCF or the "ducks", because that is the impression I get reading your post.

I have been 100% upfront with you and on your board in explaining my initial reason for posting on the JeannieLynn introduction thread. I posted TT's comments here on LCF and said they were TT's and she was posting on another forum as someone else.
I did this because prior to me posting that information *nowhere* , including your board, had it been written that JeannieLynn was Tippy Toes. So here was Tippy posting as someone else and calling herself a *Kimkins Refugee*.
I felt it only right to basically call her out and at the same time let your board members and, even you- I thought, be made aware that she was there.

I know you keep saying Tippy had just joined the night before, I posted this, but that is incorrect. She actually was posting on your board on 11-27 at 8am, so as you can see that isn't the case. I only point this out because she had time to do the right thing over there and announce who she was- it wasn't all last minute with her joining and me posting the information here.
In fact I suspected she was there a full 24 hours earlier, then when I actually posted about it here on LCF, but waited to verify and to see what she would do. Go figure- not just us going in for a kill. I say this because that has been said by others, that we are a pack looking for blood and just say anything without proof.

When I did comment on this member being TT, I did not disparage TT in any way. My first post - "Hi Tippy toes does Kimmer know you are here or anyone else for that matter?" My user name was not chosen as a way to stir the pot. I used the name HoneyBee. I was not trying to fool anyone as far as where I was coming from (LCF and Kimkins I used that name) or who I was either.

In fact I did not see anyone post with names that would be pot stirring as you described. Are these people who are just reading? If so they could just be reading here too and not even members of LCF, because you don't even have to join here to read. Just something to consider. It just bothers me that all the recent new members are viewed as being there for the wrong reasons and viewed as a negative automatically, as indicated in your post. Do you really want that to be the case?

TO be honest since the outing of TT the worse comment I have read on your board, or the pesron who appeared to be stirring the pot, was not by a "new member", but done by a long standing member there.
My point is this entire situation is coming off again as if we all are haters and went over to cause trouble at a "safe" site. That we are all just bad bad. That brings back eerie memories......doesn't it?

I truly feel your intentions are pure in what you were trying to do by allowing Tippy to be a member of your forum, but I also think TT's are still questionable It doesn't mean I am a hater, but just a person who may have a different opinion from others.

I wasn't trying to ignore you. I just am really tired and didn't want to drag it out any longer. So I'll address it and then head back to lurk mode and my forum.

Someone named JeannieLynn signed up whenever it was she signed up (I can't remember which day, I thought it was thursday night but I could have missed when she first posted). The intro was odd and vague and combined with the name, I had a feeling it was Tippy, but I decided to see what she was up to. I'm not going to go off on someone just because they had the name Jeannie! The person posted a few times mainly asking me questions about my cookbook and maintenance. The next day after work, she had PMed me and said she hadn't been completely honest with me and that she was Tippy. I said she could stay on the site as long as she was nice to everyone. I do lurk here and I noticed that people were starting to realize she was at my site. I quickly wrote up that FYI post (so my members weren't confused when we suddenly had 100 new members on the site) and posted it about the same time people started posting in her thread. I only got confirmation that she was Tippy an hour or so before people found her there. I didn't even really get a chance to post to my members that Tippy had confirmed her identity because I suddenly had a bunch of people at my site. I'm sorry I couldn't post quicker but I've been sick all week and not feeling myself and I've been dragging myself to work and basically been in a daze. So I wasn't moving as fast as I might have otherwise.

My problem was that people came over JUST to post to Tippy. I know there was some communication overlap - people posting in her thread as I was trying to post in the FYI thread. I don't think HoneyBee is a stir the pot name LOL. I was talking more about names like Flippy, CaptainMorgan, Kimmerexia, etc. Of those, only Flippy posted. And I know people just wanted to let people know Tippy was Tippy, but you know, I'm a big girl and I can handle my own board. I didn't even get a chance to tell my own members and let them get used to the idea before we had a bunch of new people telling Tippy to leave. I'm not viewing new members suspiciously, it just feels weird when you suddenly have 100 new members and only a handful post an intro, a few post something to Tippy, and the rest don't say a word. You end up feeling like you are being watched. Old members feel stifled. Everyone is uncomfortable because they are afraid to say anything. Then people start copying from my board and my old members feel even more scared to post because they don't want anything they say to end up everywhere else.

I know some of my members got out of hand. Like I said, I was disappointed in everyone. They are known for being outspoken and I've let them vent a little in the past but I'm not going to be as lenient in the future. I have addressed it with the members involved and we have implemented a new warning system and new rules so people know their limits. We've been over there in relative obscurity (even though people know where I am). I think the members who got upset were upset because they felt like they had been in this sort of safe quiet place and they were afraid drama was going to invade the board. And it did. And that's my fault for not telling Tippy no in the first place. I've always believed in giving people the benefit of the doubt, giving people second chances, and that there are very few people who are truly "bad" people who are completely unredeemable (FYI: I do feel Kimmer falls into that category). I also didn't want to set a precedent by picking and choosing who joins my board. Obviously, not everyone shares that belief and I got rid of Tippy for the sake of restoring peace.

Please, no hard feelings anyone. It's been a tough day for all involved and I really just want us all to be able to coexist. I've been sick and not functioning at 100% so if I didn't behave like people think I should have, please forgive me. I'm just doing the best I can.

Amy, one thing is for sure - where Tippy goes, drama will follow. It happened in every challenge group she joined here. She sees to it that drama happens, because she makes it all about her. It is a fact that she has alienated an outspoken group of people who will not be quick to forgive her for her transgressions against them. It is a shame that you and your membership had to be yet another group that she joined, only to have drama ensue. You are better off without her. Yes, it was wrong for people to join your site just to cause trouble. However, most of the blame falls to Tippy. She has set up the circumstances that make her an internet pariah, and she will be haunted for a very long time to come. May I say, IMO, she deserves it and more.

Bad, bad move on Heidi's part. Really stupid.

Right in front of the proverbial lawsuit steamroller, she just arrogantly (and stupidly) "laid down in the street".... she demonstrated exactly why she is being sued... ie, denial of "lifetime membership" to one of her most successful members.... not before all this started but rather after the lawsuit filing, after the site scrub, and after supposedly coming clean....

Heidi just conveniently.... and very publicly..... provided a current and perfect piece of evidence/proof for John Tiedt.

Note to Heidi: Heidi....I'm not you, but if I was.... I would have banned MYSELF before I banned AmyB.
