I imported the pic into Photoshop and increased the viewing size without altering the pixels to 500%. You can tell alterations made in Photoshop by the the blurring of pixels in the lower half of her body. I have outlined and contained the areas containing pixel blurring within the white line. There are few strays outside the line, but as you can tell with the resulting shape, the shape resembles the similar body type shown in the surveillance video.

The image on the website is only 100 pixels by 150 pixels. It is easier to hide pixel manipulation at that size.

There's even some area around the chest and neck that's been manipulated.

I miss the sweet lady in the lawn chair. I remember visualizing her when I would post to kimmer. I remember thinking wow, that lady has it so together. She looked so sweet and serene.

I wonder if anyone would dare address her as "Heidi" now that she has given her real name. That would probably really mess her up, everyone calling her heidi.

There a BUNCH of x-kimkin's dieters who signed up in June after the magazine.. never "hung out" on the boards.. and don't even know anything about the controversy. All they know is they tried another miracle diet for a few weeks, couldn't "stick to it", and gave it up along with the many others they tried in the past. Not everyone who ever did Kimkins and quit Kimkins is an internet blog/board visitor!!! We have to get the knowledge out into REAL world knowledge instead of only focusing online!!!

How can we best accomplish this goal? We have a lot of very good minds here. How best to approach this? The number of former Kimkins dieters who are aware of the scam is miniscule in comparison to the aggregate pool.

Billboards and newspaper/tv ads are sometimes used to increase awareness of class action lawsuits, but the pool of plaintiffs is much much larger in those cases, and the cost would not be justified. (Although there's nothing I'd like more than to see billboards with a pic of Heidi as seen through the PI lens alongside Leysa in her red dress with the words, "Have you been scammed by Kimkins? If so, please call 1-800-IAM-SNAT".)

The best way to get the word out to those who aren't aware is probably the most tedious, and that is a letter writing campaign to local newspapers, media outlets (radio/tv, etc.) to make them aware of the scam and that there is a genuine need to get the word out to this pool of potential plaintiffs. There has been great success in contacting TV stations and I believe that's an avenue to keep pursuing, but I also think if there was a "boilerplate" piece regarding the class action lawsuit, requesting that former Kimkins members come forward and join the suit, that could be sent to consumer affairs editors at radio/tv/newspapers around the country. Many TV stations have "Consumer Action" reporters, and newspapers have "Call for Action" type columns. I've seen mention of pending class action lawsuits mentioned several times in both venues.

I am not a writer, nor do I personally have a stake in this as I never was a Kimkins member nor ever followed her 'diet'. But I do have a real desire to see justice served in this case and will help get the word out (and have already helped, for that matter).

Exactly. I've received compensation as a result of being included in a class action even though I was totally unaware of the suit. We need to get this thing certified as a class action first, though. That's why it's SO important to reject any refund and join the suit.

About the new KK homepage, have Hidey's stats changed?

It still shows a 23 pound loss, but her stats are 317 Start/308 Week 2/294 current. I thought her weights were lower on Monday. Does anyone have a screen shot that can confirm it or correct me?

Even though I had not requested a refund, mine showed up last night through Paypal.
I immediately refunded her refund.

When you do that, it gives you space to write a note --- which I did.
