Thanks, Cheri-right back at you! Well I dont usually do more than 1-2 miles each day, so with only about a week left this month I would have to do almost 3 miles everyday to make my goal. I dont see that happening, but I will try to get as close to that as possible Have you moved up the carb ladder at all or are you sticking with Induction levels? I started putting food in Fitday today and it just seems like such a pain. I hope it gets easier I would like to be able to track my food better. TTYL

I'm still staying around 20 carbs/day.. I have cautiously introduced some almonds and peanuts.. Do much better with almonds, though. And I do have my perpetual cheat, dark chocolate (like 2 net carbs/tbsp) in some whipped cream for fake pudding. I also use flax meal. Definantly couldn't do strict induction for this long

I thought fitday was a pain, too. I tried it but they didn't have the right options for the exersize I was doing(no pilates!) or the right food combination. I started to stall out a couple of weeks ago, and I began writing down everything I ate, with the net carb count, and I mark my exersize on my callendar. Once I was writing down my carbs I got control over them again.

WTG! Lisa

I took wednesday off, did pilates mon and tuesday... so thurs fri and saturday I have to exersize ..which means I should get my butt into gear for today!

BTW found great new video that left me totally sore (which I take to mean that it worked) called 10 minute sollution Pilates... If you do all the segments together it is one heck of a workout.

My DH alarm woke my DD up at 5AM so I decided to get up and workout first thing. I got my 1.25 miles out of the way-maybe if Im feeling really good later Ill do another 30 minutes-we'll see. Fitday is getting easier now that I have most of the foods I eat frequently plugged in. I seem to be on track with my FPC percentages and calories. According to the equations I should be shooting for less than 1550 calories per day. Drinking the shakes for breakfast is helping me do that. Ill post again later if I get a chance. Have a great day

So I did do the pilates Still ended the week at a pretty crappy 3x.

I think the super-hard video burned me out. Gonna try to stick with stuff I can do better for next week. And I MUST get in some cardio.....

YAY you got in 3x this week - thats awesome! I know they recommend 20 min 3x per week so that sounds right. I have to do my treadmill everyday cuz when I tried to do 3x or 5x I ended up taking too many days off-kept saying Ill do it tomorrow and didnt Do whatever works. As for cardio what do you plan to do? I would love to start some weight training but dont have a clue where to begin. I am lucky enough to have a fitness room in the clubhouse where we live but I dont know how to use the machines, reps, sets etc. PLUS with my 3 year old practically glued to my hip, Im lucky if I get to do my 30 min. walk-you have a little one so Im sure you can relate! Have a great day

PS LC Pumpkin Pie-YUM

2.8mph=1.5 miles

I have a stationary bike that I use for cardio. Really i need to go for a walk at a good fast pace ..but. well. it's cold..lol. I don't like to go outside unless the temp is just right. Fall/early spring. otherwise I huddle around my ac/heater

Gonna probably do pilates and yoga tonight. I just hate cardio so much.

Cheri~ I dont like cardio either-I just hate getting sweaty! And I am with you on the weather thing-It finally got cold here and yesterday DH and I took DD for a walk(it was COLD & windy) and then to Dunkin Donuts to get coffee/hot chocolate. DH assured me they had SF Hot Cocoa-WRONG! But he was sweet and went to the griocery to get me some Diet Hot Chocolate. It really hit the spot! Get biking and I'll TTYL

Well I crapped out on the biking ..but I did to 30 mins of pilates, so I'm OK with that!

I have SO been craving hot chocolate. I have been pondering the idea of mixing water, heavy cream, dark chocolate and splenda.. but then I think about it and it sounds gross..lol What brand did you get? And how many carbs?

Hey, 30 min of pilates is great! I just finished my 1.5 miles for today. The hot chocolate is Swiss Miss Diet Milk Chocolate and it has 4g Carb and 1g Fiber. The ones that say No Sugar Added have more carbs. Do you weigh everyday? Im weighing in tomorrow cuz I need to lose one more pound to make my Oct goal. Wish me luck Have a great day

That hot chocolate sounds great--I'd never be able to have just one cup.

I do weigh everyday, I'm compulsive. The other day I caught my 15 mo old "weighing".. So I've been making an effort to stay away from the scale.

I did yoga last night, which wasn't much, but it was something.

I wouldnt worry about DD -my DD (almost 3yrs) gets on but she just thinks its a toy- likes seeing the numbers change.

I met my weight goal for October- the scale read 162 this AM down from 169 at the beginning of the month

1.5 miles again-Im trying to move up to 3mph but it still seems too fast for me. Ive walked a total of 17 miles Pretty good for a lazy girl

And its good that you know your limits-I was ok with the hot chocolate but I did NOT go in to Dunkin Donuts. Just the smell would have put me in a spin. Doughnuts are the one thing I really have trouble resisting. It would have been nothing for me to eat 2 or 3 chocolate covered donuts in a day and I hate to even admit this but my DH would buy the bavarian cream for himself cuz he knew I didnt like them and wouldnt eat it but sometimes Id get desperate and squeeze the cream out and eat the rest Just typing about them is hard for me-How sad is that Ok going to have lunch now Have a great day...

I miss donuts, too. I used to work in a store where we sold fresh Krispy Kremes..mmm.. But there's nothing even remotely good for you in a donut..so I couldn't justify eating them. Unless, you know, they were the free ones. OMG I could eat soooo many free donuts.

I met my Oct. goal of getting under 200lbs! For the last two days, the needle on the scale has sat consistantly on 199/198!

WTG on the 7lbs! Only 12lbs from goal?

FREE doughnuts? Thats like winning the lottery for me I wish I was 12 pounds from goal I only show portions of my journey in my siggie that way it doesnt seem so impossible to me. My profile shows my true stats: start at 180( my highest wt was 224 the day I gave birth to my 4th baby in Nov. 2004) and final goal of 135. Right now I just want to get to the next "decade". Awesome job getting to onederland and making Oct goal. We are unstoppable

1.5 miles at 2.9 mph-inching my way to 3.0 mph Where are you, Cheri? I hope the Halloween treats didnt get a hold on ya. I am supposed to go to a scrapbook bingo on Sunday and lunch with friends-they picked Chilis. I havent eaten there in awhile so Im gonna go check their menu online and decide what Im having ahead of time. I always do that if I can cuz if I look at the menu there it gives me more of an opportunity to make a poor choice. BBL

Another 1.5 miles @ 2.9mph I had a VERY rough time fighting cravings and hunger last night. I ate more than I usually would but didnt go off plan. I guess it's better than running for the chocolate. May be hormone related Im not feeling very well this AM kinda nauseous-I think that's cuz I worked out first thing and took all my supplements without eating first. Hope it passes soon. Ive got a full day ahead, dropping off and picking up my cat from the groomer, shopping at walmart(Im out of food) and date night w/ DH (dinner & bowling). Hope you are hanging in there ,Cheri.

HEy!

Hanging in there with food.

Exersize not so much. I've been a pretty big lazy this week too, as you can tell from my total absense..

Starting to think 5x might be too much for me. Either that or i'm just too lazy.
