Oh, yes, as I read the other posts, I kept thinking, "oh, I like that, too! Especially Chris Rice, and I do like Mark Schultz. Then there is the Gaither Vocal Band and Steve Green, who is the best!

Hey, love your post. I sing/play guitar in a praise and worship band every sunday as well as I am in a gospel/bluegrass trio. I sing the Down at the River to pray song accapella in the gospel group all the time. My favorite praise songs are though: My Savior My God-Aaron Shust Wonderful Merciful Savior-Selah Made to Worship-Chirs Tomlin(anything Chris Tomlin really) and i love the new song by Point of Grace called You are Good. I could go on and on with this post. I have so many favorites. I am learning and practicing the new songs literally every day. God blesses with so many talented people to write these wonderful songs so we could have such an awesome time glorifing His name. Wow!

Because He Lives I can Face Tomorrow. May be more of a hymn, but when that song is sung, it brings out such praise and appreciation of God in my heart and spirit.

I love so many it is hard to choose I have been listening to Christian Music my whole life and go to a lot of concerts.
Worship Music I loved Rich Mullins and really miss him Chris Tomlin seems to have really taken over that area. I guess if I had to pick a song right now it would be Drifter by December Radio it was great seeing them on the Dove awards last night. |

Amazing Grace is my most favorite.
__________________________________________________ Amazing Grace Words by John Newton 1779 Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found Was blind, but now I see. 'Twas Grace that taught my heart to fear, And Grace my fears relieved. How precious did that Grace appear The hour I first believed. Through many dangers, toils, and snares I have already come. 'Tis Grace hath brought me safe thus far And Grace will lead me home. The Lord has promised good to me. His Word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be As long as life endures. When we've been there ten thousand years Bright shining as the sun, We've no less days to sing God's praise Than when we'd first begun.

Y'all have sure listed some great ones! I'm wondering how to narrow my list down!
Dance with Me (Evan Earwicker) Undone (MercyMe) Arise (Argh...can't remember!) How Great is Your Love (MercyMe) Basically anything by MercyMe... Pieces (Red)--this is a pretty rockin' band, but this one song just gets me every time. We sang it last Weds. night, and there wasn't a dry eye. |

I like Brandon Heath's, "I'm not who I was". I use that for my ringtone.
I also like Casting Crowns, "Praise You in this Storm", Aaron Shust, "My Savior", MercyMe "So long self". |

I was going to also say "I Will Praise You In The Storm" too. My (step) daughter passed away at almost the same time this song was released on the radio. My faith took a beating unlike anything I ever imagined possible It seemed like every time I was going to be buried under my grief this song would come on the radio.......as if the Lord himself was speaking to me. "Give God the glory in ALL things" had aways been my mantra up until then - the one thing I preached to everyone around me over and over again, but I couldn't seem to do that in this situation. Then one day a few weeks after the funeral, it came on the radio as I was driving to work and I did; I praised God in the storm. It wasn't like it was instant healing and a bit bolt of lightning but after that and every time I have heard it since I am comforted. The timing of its release could not have been more prefect and I will go to my grave believing it was no coincidence. |
