QUOTE:Time for "Admin"-ning?? 1 Hour, 39 Minutes ago

Dear Friends,

Well, I tried. I tried to be an Admin. It was a responsibility I took very seriously. When I was asked about being an Admin I was very flattered and was eager to help. That was BEFORE all the job changes that I have just gone through. And I have not had time to do as complete a job as I would like. Some of you know that I just started a new business (new job, new hours, new responsibilities) and I just don’t have the time to answer the forum threads like a good Admin should. I have a classroom of kids who need my constant attention! I love it!

For your information, the cruise is still available. I am going whether there are 5 or 55 people going. I have too many necks I need to hug!

I’m still around. I’m still posting. But like PrettyPaula I just don’t have the time to be an Admin. I don’t do anything unless it’s 100% (that is a blessing & a curse! Hahahaha) I'M STILL HERE!!

See you in the threads!

Regandy OUOTE

Admins are biting the dust left and right...

How many of them actually left and said this isn't right, I don't agree with her? Seems like everyone left and said I have other stuff to do, my family/job/real life need me and THEN the truth comes out. Wondering if it's that way for Becky and Suzana too?

Public Service Announcement to anyone thinking the diet is sane.
Thyroid disease does not get cured, ever.
You will have to have blood drawn on a regular schedule to determine if your meds work. Just because you are on one dose now doesn't mean much. You might need to go up over time.
You'll have to be careful around certain food for EVER, no more tofu, broccoli, cauliflower etc as they mess with your meds
YOU WILL BE ON MEDICATION FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE
your hormones might have gotten messed up enough that you hit menopause early (I did at 43)
I found that when you are hypothriod (I have Hashimoto's) your heart doesn't function as well as a healthy person.
It's harder to do things.
losing weight is a struggle and sometimes doesn't even happen

So is it worth losing 7 pounds a week like this 'diet' promises you if in the end you are at a potential risk of thyroid disease?

Think about it,
Medication for the rest of your life.

WE might not know if they did, since Heidi is so quick to edit over there. Some may have but Osuzana DIDN'T, and now this girl is stepping down.

The worst part, some kk members got their newsletter today and Heidi (under the name of Vanessa Sharp) is soliciting people to be affiliates by blogging and linking to kimkins. If that ain't balls I don't know what is. This is truly turning my stomach at this point.

Wife, to carry over the discussion of the TOS for Heidi's website - I only skimmed through, but at this point, it doesn't look as if they have a legitimate reason to shut her down w/o any explanation or giving her a specified time to respond to complaints. The fact she is a liar and a charlatan does not. And because there are people who DID lose safely (apparently) on her diet means she is doing what her contract accepts. There's more, but I gotta go! Now that a new thread has been started, would it be possible for someone to do a post with some of the links that were in the first thread, just so they're all in one place. There were links to blogs, the BBB, etc. and I know I've missed a bunch of them.

Thanks in advance!

No scam artist worth their salt stops just because *some* people have found out. There are always new marks waiting to be scammed, there's always new cash flow. The only way to stop them is to shut down that particular con game, so that they have to move on to another (or to a stay at Club Fed).

Some of the links are not allowed to be posted because of the bloggers taking it too far with pics and such. Someone would have to compile a list and then PM the admins to find out what's ok and what's not.

Someone with the username sydneynelson is an admin. She registered on 8/24/07 and has 346 posts to date. Don't know about any others.

Just saw this posted by Kimmer today in response to someone trying to keep their calories under 500! This was in a challenge thread, btw. I thought Kimmer never went there.

Quote:
Hey there! Sorry to interrupt everybody. This will only take a minute.

What is this business of 500 calories? DO NOT force low calories, there's no reason and it's not good for you psychologically. Follow the basic Kimkins plan (or even K/E) which is as much lean protein as you desire -- plus up to 4 servings of low carb veggies.

If you're unable to stand or feel ill, you should contact your doctor immediately. There is no calorie limit for Kimkins, and certainly no reason to force a calorie limit. You can have underlying health issues and should contact your doctor. A few simple tests will give him/her a snapshot.

I know you're anxious to lose, but please do the plan as written (plus your Centrum type vitamin!)

Hugs,
K.

Is Kimmer forgetting about her boot camp? That's where everyone's getting the 500 calories and the choices in that particular plan are VERY limited.

I love how she tried to pretend these things come out of the clear blue sky.

That kind of back-pedaling is some pretty high-intensity exercise.
