I have been too hungry today. I am not doing too bad though. I made myself the Aussie Squash Fries today. Nothing like the fries taste I was hoping for (but I knew better) but they were really, really good just the same. Also had a truffle for breakfast.

Tonight for dinner I am gonna make a LC meatloaf and the squash fries.

I am ready to go back to the way lc way for another week or two. I don't want to do it yet, because this weekend we are going on a 1000 mile in 24 hours ride on the motorcycle. I don't want to throw my body out of whack. I need to be feeling good and alert. But, come Monday, watch out!

We are wanting to plan a ride out to ride "The Dragon". When is the best time of year to do that?

Oh, yeah, I exercised today. Yes, I rock!

Yippie! I got to 193 this morning! doing a little happy dance. I gave up the SF junk for a few days, and upped the water! It worked.. I was just eating too much junk with hidden carbs!

And a Stalker!~ Oh my... hope she over looked the story of the leg cramps~! LOL~!

Welcome Kerri~!

Sorry Ive been MIA. Just got busy... again.

We're having a 50's Party in Dec. Only date we could rent our community center but gives everyone time to get good costumes together. Im working on a Lucy type outfit, because Im too old for the poodle skirts. Allison will do that one!~ Already found a poodle for her skirt. And some old eyeglasses. I hope I can lose enough to get into a girdle that will hold me in for the dress I want to try.
Girls, dont I get myself into more projects~!~~~

need to try those aussie fries, look good..

Hope everyone has a good weekend..
Hugs ya'll~

Is the Dragon the one here in Tennessee? that runs into NC??
Ive heard it is very dangerous.. Id think any rides at this point would be better in fall when the temps are down.. its too hot here now.

Justine, have a good and safe trip! And stay away from those brownies girl! LOL

I'm bored to tears, should be cleaning but thats the last thing I want to do. I got up early and walked 2 laps at our local college. I hope I can do it again tomorrow. I cut patterns and piddle with some crafts. Got mad at DD12 , I asked her twice to turn the eggs off , next I smell the smoke and hear them popping.. what part didnt she understand! so no devilled eggs tonight.

We have new neighbors with more dogs.. last ones had pitbulls. Not a fan. our little schnauzers bark at everything, so now they have new ones to break in... I hope when 4 yrs are up we can move back to the country. Our loan is FHA/Va and has the recapture tax clause... sucks! Just 4 more years and Im putting the house on the market.

Okay Im done bit@hing.

Oh I forgot this is Monday... it should be this way...
you girls have a good week...
Hugs!

Hi Gals!

What a weekend! We went on an "Iron Butt" ride. It is 1000 miles in 24 hours or less. We did it with 2 other people. A great experience, but really difficult. We started it at 10:30pm on Saturday and got home last night at 9:30. Today I am sore and tired. I need to exercise, but I just don't have the energy to do so.

Two of my three kids are sick. One came home from school with a fever. Blech.

Aside from that, I have done pretty much nothing today. Pretty much dead to the world. I will be back to life tomorrow, I hope.

Hi Nat all are welcome here.

Hi ladies...i'm exhausted drove 250 miles on sat/sun then 230 miles on Monday. Had a nice visit with my family who is down in Sea Isle City NJ for the rest of the week. I'm so tired grandmom slipped off edge of bed at 3:00 am and I had to go and pick her up off the floor and clean up everything she spilled.

Stacy - all the kids had fevers down the shore. Yuck.

I haven't weighed myself because I didn't eat well at the cat show and I KNOW that I gained some of that weight back. The only drawback to this wol is how easy it is to put the weight back on.

Justine, me too, hope your granny is okay.

Girls, I'm glad you all had nice trips this weekend. I was glad to stay home and piddle.

Not so grumpy today.
weighed in at 195 but holding.. and gulping water.

my sweet for the day was soynut butter unsweetened coconut mixed and topped with a tiny dab of sf chocolate, stirred and ate out of the itty bitty bowl. about 2T. Helped with the cravings.

I have no idea whats for dinner. I havent laid anything out.

Nat & Kerri, hope we hear from ya'll~!

have a good one ladies!

Ugh I'm up to 219..I knew it would happen since I couldn't eat or drink properly at the cat show.

Today i'm under the weather. I have a sore throat and swollen glands so I'm just going to take it easy. Liquids all day.

I also have a second interview for a work from home job, cross your fingers we could use the extra money.

Justine,
Cool on the home job, gosh I wish I could do something from home besides ebay(did it years ago.)
If youre sick.... Im sorry, hope you feel better, but I bet you'll lose those 2lbs.. I always do when Im sick and cant eat.

I'd think its too hot to get sick but seems its going around. DD12 has been feeling bad, headache, tired, low fever.

I made it to my 3rd day of walking. I think thats the most Ive done in a row. I Hope I can stick with it. I didnt weigh this morning and dont plan to for a few days. I know if I start moving my muscles those scales might move up some, and I dont want to SEE it. Ive got to work on my stomach, it looks so funny now. LIke a deflatted tire. It was round like a pregnancy before, but now I have upper love handles.. if ya knw what i mean... LOL~! And I hope this flap will go away. Geez how did I let my body get in this mess! Few kids and too many Little Debbies, damn that Debbie!

Hugs girls!

I love Debbie! Death to her!!

I weighed myself this morning. I am holding at 176.5. I have noticed that I stall out right at every 10 pounds. But, the good news is, I have been exercising and it is that time of month, so I am hoping for a nice whoosh in a few days or so.

Totally understand the deflated tire look. But, on the bright side, I think that it is getting smaller. 55 pounds lost, 25 to go!

I'll dig a spot for Debbie in my back woods....

Stacy you are really doing so good. Those 25lbs will come off in no time.

I feel a little better today, seem to feel more rundown than anything. Stuck to soup and liquids but I seem to be retaining water from the salt in the soup. Oh well.

Today, I ate

2 eggs
2 hot dogs with cheese and pepperoni
Trying to think of something lite for dinner any suggestions?

Can anybody say, "Whoosh!" 174.5! 2 pound loss overnight. Woo hoo!

Justine, where are your veggies? I realize that the weight seems to come off faster without (just did that myself), but you will feel so much better with the veggies. I have decided that I will take the slower weight loss over the crappy feeling that not eating veggies produces. What's the word on the job?

Paula, great job on the walking!! You go girl! Bambi for dinner, huh? That sounds really good!! I love taking venison "stew meat" and making stroganoff with it. So yummy! We don't get to eat venison very often. My hubby gets Sundays off at work and that is not enough time to go hunting. There are customers that occasionally bring Jerrimy venison during hunting season. I love that!

OK, here is a camera phone pic of me in my semi-formal dress. We leave for vacation two weeks from tomorrow. What am I gonna look forward to once it is over? I signed us up for a spa treatment while on the ship called an "exotic rasul". Basically we get our own room with a steam shower, oils, and mud. It should be quite sexy. I have been wanting to do this and thought that it would be too girly for DH. I forwarded the description onto him and he was really wanting to do it. He surprises me sometimes.

WOW

Stacy you look great...Here's a funny, when hubby and I did the disney cruise we got the same spa service. He loved it. Just a note of caution, it does get very hot in there and it's gets hard to breath, husband baled early because of it.

I promise i'm eating my veggies. I'm still trying to figure out what to have for dinner tonight.

Ok I found a trigger food and i'm sad about it. For dinner last night I made a lc tuna casserole and well the lc noodles just sent me on a fenze. I could have eatten the whole dang thing. So I stayed away from the leftovers this morning (even tho they were calling my name) and I ate Tuna w/ mayo for lunch and a hard boiled egg for breakfast. Hoping the protein will get me back on track.

hardboiled egg
tuna w/ mayo
tequilla lime chicken wings not sure of veggie yet
salad greens with cheese and ranch dressings

WOW!
I'm speechless! STACY!!! You've done an amazing job! And how many days do you have left before Cruise???? If you loose anymore, you will have to get a new dress! You do look great, Im very proud of you! And 2 lbs to boot!

Justine, I agree with Stacy, try to keep those veggies in. I think it just helps the pipes keep working. I can eat huge amounts of veggies and not feel too guilty...but yeah keep those good proteins going, helps with those cravings. I just cant do any wheat/ flour products period! Sets me off everytime, then I get tired, sore and stiff...

My oldest DD is trying now to lose some... so today when we went shopping I took a baggie of colby/Jack cheese and some canadian bacon slices and water, took my cooler because it was like 98 today. She is trying to cut back on sweets and start exercising too. She has been walking with me, at least 3 times this week. My Annie Lou (mini Schnaz) has been my partner too. I did two laps today and Im so tired now, bedtime. 5 days in a row.. I think I will go tomorrow too. ONly it will be empty (parking lot) since no college on saturdays, might take two dogs with me...

Oh I found a nighty that has animal print on it.. LOL.. I got it today and I plan on telling hubby its my hunting outfit... next month I think hunting starts... then he's gone all weekend. Might as well try it out now...

I jumped on the scales this evening and it says 194. I cant wait to see what it is in the morning..
must be stalling for months or so slow, then it starts back again.. the losing that is... I can see where endurance has been paying off. I dont know what Id do without you girls for a support system. Think of how much money we are keeping from Jenny Craig, etc... LOL...

Hugs ya'll~!

OMG Paula you walked 5 times this week that is awesome. My DD could stand to lose at least 20lbs that she gained over the summer, yes over the summer. She's on ADD med and when she doesn't take it she gains.

I do eat veggies I promise. I'm really big on sauteing my veggies.

Yesterday menu:

2 hard boiled eggs
1 c of tuna casserole
grilled chkn and salad (cucumber/tomatoe/grn peppers)
ranch dressing
buffalo wings

not enough water..

Todays menu

2 hardboiled egg
1 celery w/ pb
left over buffalo wings w/ ranch
not sure of dinner yet

Good morning gals! You are all doing so great! I am so excited for us all!!

Are you feeling better, Justine? Did you use Dreamfields for the tuna casserole? I have a difficult time with Dreamfields because pasta is my one true love in life. Possibly even more than my husband. And he knows it. I have gotten better at giving myself normal (well less than normal) size portions, but cuz I know what I am capable of, I tend to eat something other than pasta. How is your grandmom doing? Also, do you do any type of batter for your hot wings or do you eat them without a batter? Back in the good ol days I would batter them, now, not so much. But I am contemplating trying them with Carbquick and a bunch of spices... BTW, love the new avatar!

Paula! Woo-hoo!!! 5 days this week?!?! We are so proud of you! That is absolutely terrific! New nightie? Love it! I am sure hubby really loves it! Especially animal print. Meow!! I think that you are absolutely right about the support system on here. I would have never been able to do what I have, what I will still do without you girls. And, I know it. Thanks, I owe you ladies lots!

Ok, I got back on the scale today cuz I had a small piece of raspberry poke cake last night at a birthday party (that I made. Darn good too!). I wanted to see how bad it screwed me. Oh, and 2 Bud Lights, a pretzel, and a few tater chips. I have decided it was magical cake, cuz I am down today! 173!! I am now within a pound or two of DH! I snapped a pic of the scale with my camera phone cuz I could hardly believe it. Is that pathetic or what?

Like I said, went to a birthday party yesterday. I played in the pool with the guys (it was a party for 4 of the people we ride with. All of their birthdays have been since Tuesday!). One of the guys picked me up and threw me in the pool. That's right, picked me up. I haven't had that happen in I don't know how many years. Since I was a kid. We were talking later and he was telling me how skinny I have gotten. One thing about hanging around this group is they all know I am an attention hound, so they play into it for me. I love my guys. Seriously, they are pretty great!

It is official, we leave for Florida in less than 2 weeks. Ok, it is still 13 days away, but I can say less than 2 weeks. I need to go and buy a new bathing suit. I have 1 that fits me now. The others are too big for me. I am happy about that, but also so frustrated. I don't have the money for new clothes.

Speaking of, I tried on a pair of size 11 pants (Juniors) and they looked bad, but I got those suckers buttoned with a lot less effort than some other clothes that I have tried on previously. Also, bought a new bra, cuz none of mine fit. I am down to a 38B. Happy about the 38 (from a 44), the B, not so much. I was a D at the beginning of the year. Sigh... Guess I will have to buy new ones... Maybe I can get a discount if I ask for a tummy tuck while I am at it.

I meant to ask earlier, is anyone gonna dress up for Halloween? I haven't done that in years and I am contemplating actually doing it this year. Especially now that I will be able to find something a little sexier to fit me. Any ideas? DH said no to "Naughty Nurse". He doesn't want me poking him with anything.
