Im hanging around 197.. seems Im creeping back up... so this week I have to get it back in gear... Justine.. Im in the same boat hun!

Tomorrow is dinner with the family and its things I can eat. Roast, (no carrots/Potato for me) slaw, green beans, devilled eggs. I dont know what to wear to walmart for the family photo... something summery I guess..

This heat is getting the best of me.. Ive sweated my butt off working on the floor of the camper.. the stick tile is not wanting to stick because of the heat... hopefully if it cools off enough tonight they will stick. I never got the trim up and I think the compressor is still on! have to ck that in a min!
My daughter can take pics with her cell phone and send them to her email.. maybe I can get her to do some pics tomorrow..

everyone have a good weekend!~

Hugs!

Hi All,
Still doing the 6 mini meals ands have lost 8 lbs total....I'll take it. I am making the meals all Atkins. Going on my 3rd week of this...I'm a slow loser.

Might have to go to CA for a while. My mom is in the hospital with high blood pressure (a month ago it was too low) and possibly fluid on the lungs. She never complains so we never know if she is not well unless we bring her to the Doctor's. I don't trust these doctors she is going to so I am going to make a trip out. I really would like to bring her out here...maybe that might happen afterall.

Paula, we had the same problem with our floor tiles in the motorhome. DH finally washed the floor down with white vinegar twice and rinsed it real good then he put a layer of Kilz primer on it, let it dry, put the tiles down and VIOLA...they stuck...and real good too. I guess the new tiles have been on for about 4 years now and not a one of them has come up.
OK everyone...C-ya soon. >^.,.^<

Hi Ladies!

I need a real good, swift, and hard kick in the butt. The last few days have been nonstop HC foods for me. What is that all about? I mean, even if I were eating HC foods regularly, it would still be quite bad!!! I am sure that it is stress and PMS, but that shouldn't be an excuse. I am frustrated with myself, yet not able to fix it... I was telling DH that it feels like I am sabotaging myself. I hit my goal, friends are paying me huge compliments and I am eating like there are no consequences. Man, this sucks! I will not be surprised tomorrow if I am back up to 180. Can I start again now?

OK, I am done whining today. I am back up to 178. 1 pound higher than I was a week ago. DH and I decided that my issue has been the end result of being too strict with the carbs. When I was allowing myself to have lc "cheats" I was losing 1-2 pounds a week and the cravings were kept under control. When I was restricting most all carbs from my diet I was fine until a craving hit, then it was a free for all. He also pointed out that I was a lot happier when I had more carbs coming in. Guess that I have been more of a bear than I thought. So, here I am. Accountable for my actions.

The kids are back at school starting today. I hope that with them gone I will be able to get back on my regular schedule around the house and with exercise. I am a list kinda gal and if I have one, I can get stuff done. Without one I am really worthless. So, today I get myself back in order.

We went to Dennys for breakfast. I got an omelette. Was really good. It had some sort of cheese sauce on it. I ate half of it. I am hoping the carb count isn't too high in that.

I am also gonna make some of the peanut butter truffles that I really like. Those are really good legal cheats. That way I have my backup so that I can stay on track.

B: Denny's omelette
L: ?
D: baked chicken thighs and lc coleslaw

Stacy I feel your pain...I think I was self sabatoging because even though i was losing and I was really happy about it i'd catch myself grabbing a HC item even after I just saw that I lost.

Today I weighed this morning...217.5..I really hope it keeps going in this direction I would love to be down to 200 before xmas. I haven't weighed less than 220 since my 4DS was born.

Salad
5 sl of pepperoni
tuna w/ mayo
mozzerella ch
sausage link
ckn breast
grn beans

and lots of water.

I use Skippy Natural Creamy (4 net carbs per serving) and Swiss Miss diet hot cocoa mix (there is a lower carb count in that than the lc version). Also, the sugar that I use is called Whey Low (I swear it tastes JUST like sugar. With no aftertaste at all! Sugar Made Healthy! Whey Low natural sugar substitute) So I use 1 cup of that and 1/4 tsp. Splenda quickpack. Always tweaking a recipe.

Well well, Justine, Im proud of you.. move that signature marker down! And keep up the good work!

Stacy! Is it pms time???? I know its hard when you get cravings.. but you have to stick to this for us too... we are so cheering you on.... I may not get to cruise goal but by george someone is!!!!! and that means you!!!!

Mary... please be careful on your trip. I dont fly but sure wish I had reason. Hope things get better for your mom... B/P is nothing to mess with, but it is managable. Was up your way today... splash country...the season is almost over for that place..so Im making sure I get my moneys worth out of the pass.

I'm licking peanut butter off my fingers...mixed sugar free maple syrup & soy nut butter together and scooped up with pork rinds.. yeap.. I have TOM visiting and he eats strange things.

Im not weighing myself this week.. IVe drove myself nuts and have to give me a break... Im gonna watch what I eat, and work on the ice water more.. . with it being so hot its easy to drink than cokes.

Have a good week girls! HUGS!

Thank you Stacy

Paula I want to move my marker but I want to make sure this isn't a *****. My husband wants to know how I'm doing it. I think it's the fish...samon/tuna/shrimp/clams..I seem to lose better when I incorporate them. When I was prego my doctor made me stop eating tuna because I was losing weight instead of gaining. I also used it my first time around on lc and I was looking at my notes (yes I kept them) to see what I was doing wrong. Give it a try.

Justine, I am so glad that your hubby made you change your sig line also. I have been waiting for you to do it. Great job!!

Mary, my thoughts are with you and your mom.

Paula, thanks for the encouragement. Yeah, PMS is kicking my butt this month. Can't wait til it is over. I am sure my family feels the same way.

I don't know what happened, but this evening I have so much more energy than I have had lately. I cleaned up the bedroom a bit, the office a bit, did some laundry, then came to terms with my scale. I am gonna have DH hide the scale until after the cruise. It doesn't matter what the scale says. It is up to me as to whether I am able to wear the dress that I bought or wear the jeans that use to be snug on me. (note the pic. Yes, the dress looks smokin' hot on me. ) I am gonna keep those hanging up in my bedroom, so whenever I go in there I see them. The picture is my new phone background too. Anyway, tonight, for the first time in awhile, I feel pretty good.

I LOVE YOUR PHILOSOPHY Stacy!!! I think I spelled that write. The scale must go....that is my new mantra too. I hate the thing, especially when it comes to the little 1/2 pounds. I am tossing mine too and letting my clothes be my guide. I will except the 8 pound loss it has given me and "get on with the show"!
I bet you do look SMOKIN HOT in that absolutely gorgeous dress.

Thanks all for the well wishes and thoughts about mom. My sister called and said things are doing well now and mom is almost back to normal...but DH is still getting the motorhome ready to go just in case...YEP, I don't fly either Paula .
Hey Paula, we have to get together one of the times you come out this way. I live about 2 miles from Dollywood etc. I have Dollywood passes but not Splash Country.

Keep them numbers moving Justine...we are all right behind you...me, I'm the one crawling...but I am right behind ya

OK kids, getting some stuff done today. DS got tickets for us to see a band in Knoxville tonight so it is going to be a long day and night. >^.,.^<

Let me tell you i hate the scale too. One minute you can be down and the next be back up. It plays with your mind. Water/salt/PMS all play a miseriable part.

Stacy that dress is HAWT!! Can't wait to see you wear it for your cruise. Hubby is going to be the luckiest guy on the boat.

Mary... did I mention how great the 8lbs are!!! Congrats! We should met at Dollywood. Have pass for that place too!
Stacy... I really like the dress! Great idea using it as background on phone, I wish I could put a skinny pic on mine.. but cant.
Justine... trust yourself.. you can do this.. yes, own the lose! love that phrase, can I steal it>??

Im having taco salad tonight, munched on tuna salad with pork rinds. & reg salad
I made a LC cheesecake with the SF cheesecake pudding. It was too good.. may have to hide it from myself.

Im at 196.5.... I cant believe I hit 194 and keep trying to get back up.. I Need to leave some SF items alone... like the above!

DD12 said something cute last night. I went by my roses sniffing and said "oh they are wilting".. Dh is standing by, so DD12 says, "that means you need more!" I couldnt help but laugh out loud at her.. she can come up with things at weird times.
Have to tell this one... I made mention of my calf being so sore, because Id had a leg cramp in the middle of the night. Her being the nightowl that she is, says.. " was that you screaming? I thought maybe you were having sex". Ive never been so embarrassed in all my life. She got me good! Wasnt expecting that! Of course that made it hard to make her believe it was leg cramps.

Anyway.. have a good one!~
me~!

Hehehehehe! Leg cramps. Right...I am with your daughter on that one. (as I say that, my leg starts cramping up. Guess that is what I get for picking on you. I take it back. I am sorry. )

I have done pretty good today. I even exercised! So glad the kids are back in school. It is gonna make my life lots easier. Theirs too, I'm sure.

You know what gals, I think that we are kicking serious butt. We are gonna make it!!

Also, there is a baked/roasted chicken leg quarters recipe on here that I tried last night. baked/roasted chicken leg quarters - yum It was so tender and juicy. I think that sometime in the next few days I am gonna try the "Aussie" Squash Fries. "Aussie" Squash Fries (w/pic) It looks so good, I can't wait!

I think that I am gonna change up my sig line. I am gonna take the weight countdown off. Any ideas on a new sig line?

The Aussie fries sounds awesome. I'm going to try them out tomorrow. I'm stuck on what to make for dinner tomorrow night.

Today's menu - had a little soda due to getting carb headache which was bringing on a migraine

2 eggs in butter
2 sausage links 5in long
1 can of tuna w/ mayo in a salad w/ cheese
1 pickled eggs
2 slice of american cheese
2 sl of salami
2 sf jellos
3 pickle spears

Not enough water today.

OY VEY!!! I just read Justine's menu for the day and honestly thought it was a LO CARB RECIPE. I have got to stop staying out late at nights.

We went to see a band called Rocco Deluca and the Burden. They were awesome, as was the 2 opening bands...Midway State and The Last Goodnight. You can google them and listen to the music. I'm just not used to this anymore. When son was playing we used to go listen to them all of the time...but I was 20 years younger. It was REAL LOUD...thank goodness for earplugs. I noticed even some of the band members wore earplugs.

My bro is heading out to CA next week to see if he can't persuade Mom to come out. We are still getting the motorhome ready, but feel a bit less stressed since we have talked to her. She is 85 and up until now VERY independent. She still tries to be, but things just aren't that easy for her anymore. I guess time will tell.

OK kids, I'm going to hit the rebounder...I belong to an exercise group on another forum and am being held accountable for 30 minutes, everyday, of exerise. I put the TV on and bounce away...before I know it 30 minutes is up. Have a great day. >^.,.^<

Paula I meant to add...I am up for a Dollywood rendezvous....just let me know. >^.,.^<

Ok I weighed today and wasn't very happy scale climbed up 3lbs but I just remembered that TOM is due very soon and that could be the reason. So I am going to stay away from the scale for a few days and pray that it goes back down.

Ok I tried my hand at cooking the Aussie Fries. Heres a pic.

Aussiefries.jpg

boy they were yummy.

Todays menu

2 eggs
double cheeseburger (minus bread)
cucumber salad
2 strawberries
2 sl of am cheese
2 sl of ham
aussie fries
steak

lots of water

Does anyone use crystal lite in their water? I bought the orange and it reminds me of sunny Delight. Does it cause you to cheat or stall?
