Ok, gals! I am bragging! I weighed in this morning at 199.5! BARELY under the 200 mark, but I did it!

Yesterday was a really nice, easy going day. We didn't really do much, just kinda hung around the house with the kids. DH made dinner last night. Grilled rib eyes with garlic/chive butter on top, sauteed mushrooms and onions, and au gratin potatoes for everyone else (I didn't touch them.) I made a chocolate covered strawberry pie with homemade whipped cream. Easy Strawberry Pie It was so good, so sinful tasting! Also, we had a glass of wine with dinner and desert. Perfect dinner!

My brother called me today to tell me that he is buying his motorcycle today. He asked me if I would ride it home for him. That made my morning. I am super excited for him.

I'll get back on here later. Wanna start getting stuff ready to pack up for my trip home on Wednesday. DH has the day off tomorrow, so I wanna spend time with him instead of packing.

YES!WAY TO GO, STACY & JUSTINE!!!

I cheated today. Not gonna say with what... tomorrow is another day.. but I will say it wasnt sugar~

I'm so lost on what day it is.. I keep thinking its Tuesday.

Mary, Im 45 west of knoxville. so unless we came up for the weekend, it would be too much of a trip. We did venture out to the baseball park that was built a few years ago.. we never go to games or anything but heard that if its empty, it great for riding. I think there was 3 cars there and one gentleman walking.. it has a trail but is short so we played around inthe parking lot too. Took our oldest Schnauzer(out of four) with us, he needed the exercise, DH walked with him.. the weather was so nice. IF my truck wasnt full of carpet scraps I'd toss the bikes and go again this evening.. might even help that cheat I had today.

Stacy - Your doing great. Keep up the good work.

As for me I also cheated...I'll admit what I had 1 mozerella stick (breaded) and 2 curly fries and 2 chkn nuggets.

I was having a very horrible day...I was in tears. I'm running my daughters girl scout troop Spaghetti and silent auction fundraiser and 3 of the girls didn't sell any tickets..Saturday is the event and we only have 50 people coming. I was so upset. I have been calling and sending emails to all the moms telling them to let me and the other leader know if they needed help selling tickets.

Also, was told that they are releasing DH 91 yo grandmom and that she's going to need 24 hour care and we thought she was going to be in rehab until mid June, at least until school ended. So we are not prepared. Hubby leaves for Key West the 31st so I'm going to be doing this alone..

Let just say to much stress but I was trying to handle it without using food. I think I did pretty well since I normally would have eaten a ton of fattening food without blinking an eye.

B: None
L: suppost to have chkn salad but I dropped it so dog got it. Ended up having 2 ckn nuggets
D: roast beef w/ cheese and 1 moz stk and 2 curly fries.

No water some diet coke...

I have to stop doing that, when I'm stressed I don't drink.

Justine, dont feel youre the only one cheating.. youre sounds mild.. I cant get ahold of myself today.. Ive ate everything I can get ahold of.
atkins indulgence bar, 3 torilla wraps (ham in 2, tuna in the other)I tried eating some fish thinking the protein would hold me over. but it tasted so bad, I gave it to the dogs. Tilipia fish(sp?) It must have been old, why it was onsale. i believe yesterdays cheat has made my craving come back in full force. gosh why did i do it.. and i need to toss the tortillas , I dont think all the wheat flour does me any good.. I still crave.. i'm so mad at myself.
207.5 was the scale this morning.. i was hold at 205.5 for a few days.. screwed that up.. rambling here. makes me want to toss a few laxatives down.. or stick my finger down my throat.. THIS IS GOING TO BE A BAD DAY!
Sorry for the vent..

I have to confess. I really screwed up the rest of the day.. I havent picked up groceries which left me without legal foods to eat on..
I'm hiding my head as I list my cheats.
big bowl of raisin bran and even tossed in some fiber one, and used real milk..
had 2 pancakes made from muffin mix.. and sugar free syrup.. like that was gonna help. then I took one pink laxative... which probably wont do much.. Im sitting here drinking water.. and trying to think the cravings away..
I ate a few pieces of ham straight out of the fridge.I'm sure theres other things ive left out.. my mind has gone blank..
I'll never be negitive towards someone who falls off the wagon, not that I really think i have been.. I was reading atkins book and it says its like an alcoholic who falls off. its physical. I believe it..

I'm getting up early tomorrow and getting groceries.. plenty of legal snacks and make this go away. I hate confessing all this but if I dont, I'll give up and gain what Ive lost in no time. I guess Im having a bi-polar moment..

I'm gonna read some post for encouragement and see if I cant get my @ss back in gear... thanks for listening.

Paula, I am sorry that you're having a day! We all have them. I understand the wanting to stick the fingers down the throat or toss back some laxatives all too well. We will help you get back on track. That's what we are here for!

The kids are packed and ready for tomorrow's trip. Now, I guess I need to go pack my stuff up. Pathetic, huh? We are packing up some munchies for the kids. I have some homemade granola for myself if I get the urge to munch. Also have some water ready to go.

Does anyone have any favorite LC munchie foods? I think that maybe we could compile a list between all of us and maybe find something "new" from that. Just a thought. Do any of you like to cook; to try new recipes? I love to do that (I was a personal chef for awhile.) Maybe we could each try a new recipe once a week/every other week and report on it? Right this moment, I am not having too many difficulties staying on track, but I also know that this won't last and I am trying to come up with an alternate plan. When I fall off the track, nothing sounds good, I want everything, yet I can't make up my mind on what it is that I want. Does that make sense?

Ok, gonna quit procrastinating and gonna go pack. Talk to ya soon!

today's menu:

B: scrambled egg with salsa, and ham steak
L: handful of almonds
D: Dreamfields penne pasta topped with Hunt's spaghetti sauce with Italian sausage added to it

Thank you for being understanding.

I cant understand why this has been such a struggle for me, Ive done so well for the last few months... pride before the fall.. I dont know!

Right now my face feels swollen.. I have this problem when I do eat wheat products. and tomorrow my joints will hurt. Part fibromyalgia, part craziness.
I would think by now I would know how i suffer when I get into food thats I dont tolerate.

Tomorrow I will start over again..
If it was stress related I would have understood. I was being polite and ordered pizza for the friend that was installing our carpet. I offered to order something for him and his son. I ate one piece. then after they were gone, I ate another, then picked the toppings off the 3rd. This was yesterday. I should have order only 1 pizza for them but I ordered two thinking hubby could eat the other for dinner.. I think now, If I had only ate the topping off the 3 pieces it wouldnt have been so bad. I got up this morning so stiff from eating the breading...

Okay .. ive beat myself up enough.. tomorrow ... thats it tomorrow i start over again!! I ve got enough eggs to start breakfast, then get groceries.. Ive made a list and will try to get another menu going..

and yes I would love to try some new recipes... esp crock pot ones..
tonite Im putting a pork roast in a crock pot.. and i have some SF bbq hunts.. that i will add before serving.. i may cook up some green beans all day..

HUgs girls... thanks for listening again... I could just cry, but wont.

Hope the trip goes well.. I really miss the beef stick/cheese combos you could buy at the store. that would be great to take with you.

I always forget toothbrush, underwear & a hairbrush... thank goodness theres a dollar tree on every corner.. lol...I bought a cheap 8 pk of toothbrushs and left them in our luggage's front pocket, just incase!

Sounds like it was a good day! Great job!!

Let's see, my day was fine. Spent 11 1/2 hours in the truck with all 3 kids and NO arguments! We walked in the house and the very first thing my dad says is, "You have lost a lot of weight!" Not, hi or I missed you, none of that. I was wearing baggy sweats and a hoodie (did you know that even sweat pants can get too big? ), so I was really surprised that anyone could tell anything. So, I looked at him and said, "Oh yeah? You should see me when I wear clothes that fit."

Glad to be here with my family. I knew I missed them all, but I didn't realize how much that was until I actually got here. Sappy, huh? Anyway, I just wanted to check in before calling it a night. I will talk to you gals tomorrow. I hope that your day goes great!

GLad you had a safe trip... enjoy your family this week!

I'll probably pop back on later. Im going to ck my van, I had a dream that the auto repairman put a huge dent in the top and I said I wasnt paying for that, when i went to look for lawyers in the phonebook it looked like pages from a singles advertisement.. gosh I hate dreams sometimes!!!!!

Stacy, that's great that your dad noticed...and it's not sappy to miss them.. When I go to ME to visit my sister I end up bawling my eyes out when it's time to leave. Gee is this the same person I use to hate as a kid. LOL..I miss her a bunch.

I did do really well yesterday but I think I had to much sodium or something because I feel very swelled, my rings are tight, and scale went up 3lbs. Not sure why i'll have to look at everything I eat. I did have salami for a snack and that has a lot of salt.

Not sure about todays menu I have a lot of running to do.

I'll check back in later.

Just checking in real quick. Hoping to get some sleep here shortly. My dad has been messing with my laptop today, unistalling virus protection, reinstalling different virus protection. Thankful that he did that (stuff was found that had made it through), but somewhere along the way, my Outlook got completely wiped out, so my emails, addresses, phone numbers, etc. are all gone! Not only that but our vacation itineraries and confirmations are also gone. I can get all of that again, just gonna take some time to do after I get home. And, I don't want to say anything to Dad, he worked so hard and so long to get my computer running better (and it is) I sure don't wanna hurt his feelings. Oh well, gives me something to do, I suppose.

My DD16 is sick. She has slept all of today. She is running a fever. Poor kid. Absolutely miserable. I feel sorry for her. We don't get to visit home often and now that we are here, she is missing it.

I am doing fine. Mom made lasagna and Texas toast for dinner. I had a small piece of lasagna. No bread, but I sure did want it.

Time away from DH really has me missing him. I called this morning and he was trying to figure out what he could eat for breakfast. I gave him a couple of ideas. So, he didn't starve. He did, however, thank me for spoiling him.

Gonna call it a night. Hope to talk to ya tomorrow!

Hello Everyone~!

Yeap good weather here too mary.. I really want to ride my bike today but I have an Dr appoint today. As my DD calls him, the crotch dr. Ive miss my last 2 and I want to get this one over with.

STacy, sorry about the pc thing.. a friend of mine, her hubby would install virus guards on my pc if i ever had him work on tower. I stopped taking it to him and would just figure it out on my own.. but he was like your dad being helpful but id lose a bunch of stuff too. I dont think to backup info before i send pc out.. i hate that my laptop dont have slot for old disks, its just the cd rom... I dont know how to burn a cd for nothing but DD can burn music all day.. go figure!

Hope your DD feels better, Ive heard something is going around here too ,fever, aches, chills, but all the way up there too..

Justine, have you every made ice cream with the heavy whipping cream.. just whip it up and add SF flavorings, or splenda & pure vanilla...freeze... its awesome esp if you spoon it out over a few berries...

I'm going to work on the kitchen again today. I cleaned out fridge, and moved a little tv into the kitchen so I can watch my soap while I clean. I may have to move things around. dont have much counter space. I would love a big kitchen! I'm going to work on the cabinet that holds spices and baking stuff, lots of carby stuff that could go in the trash! I cant believe all the SF drink mix tubs holders I have.. I think Im gonna peel the labels off and use them for something in my craft supplies.. surely put buttons etc in them.. kids use to put pens in them.. IM rambling..

I've got myself back in gear, done real well yesterday. Hopefully I can get that scale to move after re-induction.. we'll see.

Girls have a good day.

I actually got into a goal dress that I had found about 2 months ago at Goodwill. Its not really a size smaller just fit too tight when I got it home, now it works.. too bad Ive lost in my boobs, It will have to be taken up in the chest.

Hope you all had a good weekend.. SEE ya'll Monday!

Hi everyone,

Weekend went well. Had the spaghetti fundraiser for GS troop...very proud of myself stayed away from spaghetti and the cake. Had salad and meatballs.

Today had to go to DH grandmom's house an install handrails. They are definitely releasing her Tuesday and we haven't put anyone in place to watch her until we can move in.

Menu:

B: none
L: double ch burger, side salad caesar dressing
D: tuna, meatballs cucumber salad

Good morning! I am home and so glad to be here. I had such a great time visiting the family; we all get along great, but I love my crazy, hectic life. Unfortunately, the visit didn't go too well with my diet. I am back up to 200.5. I guess that is not too bad. Lasagna, sandwiches, chips, pizza, calzone, graduation cake...nothing in that house to eat but junk. The funny thing is that by the time I was on my way home, I was CRAVING grilled chicken and veggies! The better part of it all was, my kids were looking forward to better food and they were tired of soda. Somewhere since the time that I moved out and now, my parents have forgotten what vegetables are.

Yesterday we went riding with our friends out to the Royal Gorge. Lots of fun! I even had my picture taken a couple of times. I am gonna post a pic from late last summer, the last time my family saw me and a pic from yesterday. Wow, what a difference!

My in-laws are going to be in town this weekend. I am trying to come up with a menu. I think that I am really only needing one dinner. One night I am gonna have my DH smoke a pork roast, but I cannot for the life of me come up with something else... Any ideas? Heck, as far as that goes, I cannot figure out what I want to make for dinner tonight.

B: bacon
L: leftover grilled veggies and chicken
D: I dunno, need some help
