Quick question..... I noticed on the original sticky that you could have Matzoh Balls.
Doesn't the Matzoh contain carbs? IN essence it is just ground up unlevened bread. Or is there another way to make them? I sure would like to know. I've ordered the '72 book.. and am waiting.. the answer may be in there.. but until I get it if one of you have the answer that would be awesome. Thanks |

1972 Atkins Revolution Rolls
Hi, gang! I know someone had posted, on the 1st page, the Revolution Rolls recipe with cream cheese (3TBS), but the '72 book says to use cottage cheese. How much cottage cheese? Are we again lookin at 3 TBS?
I want to be sure I am doing the right thing because I LOVE THE REVOLUTION ROLLS! THANKS. Shea |

Yes, the original Revolution Rolls recipe calls for 3 Tablespoons of cottage cheese. It's on page 225 of my paperback book. These would be suitable for the second week, not induction.
For those who asked about beer, it is NOT listed as part of the allowed beverages in the '72 plan. |

MAVISif you email me your address I will mail off a copy of the 72 Atkins - I am in BC. I have three copies (don't ask) - email reid1707@hotmail.com
I am really surprised that Losin4good was able to get the 1972 at Coles - it is no longer sold in the stores only second hand shops carry it now. |

Hi everyone.
I am on my fourth day of induction. and so far doing well.. Although I record all my food at fitday, some of its still very confusing.I hoping to see results with this diet, it seems that everyone I read about has lost some weight to some degree.. When do you really start seeing results?? Also I tried those ketone strips.. and they are always a trace or so lat eat night early morning.. and by evening yesterday they were a dark purple.. why does this flexuate at night mainly? I don't eat anything with carbs before bed.. Is it perhaps because I am not active in the ev enings that it tapers out?Would love to hear some more opinions on how this diet works for you guys and the ktone question.. I am easily discouraged.... |
