It's 3 minutes of strength training, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs. Then repeat for a total of 3 sets. There is no stopping, even for a water break (although I can sneak in a sip) and it is super intense.

Best quote from Level 2: "I want you gargling your heart after this 2 minutes of cardio!"

That's level 2 in a nutshell, I love it!!

Actually, it sounds great!
But I just got the order - no BLT (bending, lifting, twisting) for 6 more weeks. Gonna have to remember this one for later!

I only do this 2x a week along with Callanetics. Are you supposed to do it everday or maybe increasing to 3x a week will show me results. I might be ready to move to level 2 soon. I love this workout because its intense and short!!

Too funny. A close second (can't remember if it's from level 1 or 2) is when Jillian is demonstrating how to do a proper crunch without straining your neck and she says something to the effect of "... remember, use your core strength only...your neck is not invited to this party"

I love it. Jillian rules.

Yes, I am! I'm about 5 sessions into level 2. I did level 1 for about a month (not everyday, probably 3-4 times a week.

I love it! I see a small difference (I'm pretty overweight, so any definition besides lumps is great). I feel an enormous difference in my stamina and strength.

Love it!

OMG, I totally know what you mean! I am literally dripping with sweat when I'm doing it, and I"m not a huge sweater. Those plank jacks and jumps really kill me.

Did you start on level 1? Or just jump into level 2? I'm starting to see changes which is exciting, so hopefully you are too!

Yep, sweaty, red faced & fall to the floor when it's over!! Love it! And it's only 20 minutes! If level 2 doesnt change your body rapidly nothing will! Can you imagine what level three is like? I can't wait to find out!

Sheesh, I know! I can't even imagine how one would make things harder!

OMG...started level 2 this week and it practically KILLED me!!! The millitary presses with dumbells, the plank jacks, the walkout push-ups. I cannot even BEGIN to imagine how hard level 3 will be. I was begging Jillian to stop and thought I'd die by the time the workout was done. Shred is definitely not for the faint of heart but damn does it ever work!

Here are my measurements after eleven days of Shred:

Starting measurements:

Waist - 31 in.
Bust - 36 in.
Hips - 41 in.
Thighs - 25 in

Two-week (11 day) Shred results:

Waist - 29 in.
Bust - 36 in.
Hips - 40.5 in.
Thighs - 24 in.

The scale didn't move much (only lost about a half a pound) this past couple of weeks, but there's no question the inches are melting off!

Did you do it 11 days straight? I only do it 2-3x a week. Maybe I should do more

I've been doing it from Monday to Friday - five days and then resting on the weekends. After I've completed 30 days of it, I'm going to change it up with something else, another workout dvd of some sort just to keep things fresh.

Pic of my bicep after 14 days of Shred:

Excuse the god-awful scenery. I took the photo in the work washroom on my cellphone camera.

It is indeed working!

If Jillian can't bring it out of ya no one can! On the dvd she says she wants us gurgling our hearts by the time the workout is finished...well I feel like I'm gurlgling it whenever I do level 2! LOL

I'd say if toning up and gaining more defined muscle is your goal and you don't mind moves like squats, lunges, raises, millitary presses and walkout push-ups etc, then Shred is definitely the way to go. With such promising results thus far, I can't wait to see my results after I've completed all 30 days.

You go H20!! I need biceps like that. I might have to try to do this everyday as well with 2days rest. I just hate doing the same workout everyday thats why I use variety but it might be worth it
