Howdy!

Well, I did my high intensity e-rolling this morning. Have had a stressful day today & getting ready to go for an over-nighter... on the moto.

Hope you all have a great week-end!

Hi all, 15 min on e, and 30 min fast pace walk. Walking is a different kind of movement, my back hurts a little.
Have a good time on your overnighter, Deb.

37 minutes for me today, it felt good to push it more then I have been. It's so easy to get lazy and not push myself but to lollygag around on it!

15 min on e today, and a 2.3 mile walk. still going, eating very well, no change still, but still going LOL.

Hunnibgbird: my tattoo is a colorful butterfly with blue eyes in the upper wings, and a very subtle letter M along the bottom, for my dad. I i can get a decent pic i will show u.
I was very particular about the design, and location. My lower back, high enough to see the whole thing, and low enough to keep hidden if necessary.

Great job Mistic and Debby!

45 mins today but had the same amount of calories burned that I had yesterday in 37 minutes lol so today was a bit lazy the last 15 mins.

Whoo Hoo, here we go!

Ya Tina, I can relate to that "energy" issue... It can make a difference how you feel. But next time you get on it will be back! Good for you that you did so much!

I did my 25 minute cardio work this morning.

Happy Monday!

Thanks for the encouragement Debby

I felt so guilty that I went ahead and did 20 more minutes tonight. Well guilt and a large handful (or was that two?) of mixed nuts!

Sounds like a great work-out to me, Mistic! Do you find that you're walking easier now that you've built yourself up on the elliptical? I have found that, its not nearly the chore it was before... on the rare occasion I get to walk!

I put in my 25 minutes of cardio this morning. Seemed so easy to put my all into it for some reason.

Have a great day!

hello everyone here!! I have been doing my elliptical for a few months now, and feel as though my thighs are bulking up instead of looking lean. any thoughts on this? I feel like the other workouts dont have enough cardio and i dont get a good enough workout but with to much resistance i feel like im bulking up. any suggestions????

Hi Sue,
and !
I found the same thing, when I was working out with too much resistance. What I learned to do was keep it with no resistance, and go fast enough to keep the heart rate in the training zone. I was also taking CLA at the time, so I wasn't sure if it was from that, or the e-rolling. So I quit that too.
Now I do 2-3 days on high resistance, slowly... then the rest of the time on cardio, no resistance... My thighs are now down to 17 & 3/4 inches.... so its working!
Nice to have you here with us!

I'm taking a few days off to heal up. I'm not sure what is going on but my hip on my right side is very very sore and I"m walking with a noticeable limp. I'm thinking that my foot pads are just to far apart and that is making me work out almost bow-legged and putting an odd pressure on my hip. :S

Ah, sorry your hip is sore! Is there anything you can adjust on your elliptical? My hips get sore when I do actual walking... Maybe you've been just pushing it too much? They do reccommend 30 minutes as being enough... and only 5 days a week. I have learned, over the years, not to over-do exercise, so that it's sustainable, & to avoid injury. Hope you feel better soon!

Mistic I think we traded weather! It was beautiful here today!

I did my resistance work today.

Here's a picture I took yesterday... for my "after" picture.

Whoohhooo check you out Debby! You look fantastic! You should be sooo proud of your success and your continued success! You look amazing and I love the happiness in your face

I don't see any way to get the foot pads any closer together :S I don't think I'm pushing it to hard but hopefully it will heal up quickly and I can maybe lift my feet more off of the pads so when they raise up it will be a more natural body alignment? Of course when my foot goes back down to the pad I'll probably trip and kill myself! lol I'll figure out something I'm sure

Thanks Tina...

I hope your hip feels better... take it easy!! (you do use good running shoes when you e-roll, don't you)? Who can figure... but gotta listen to the body when it screams!!

Well, its a gorgeous day today, but I'm committed to getting my tax stuff together today, so it may be wasted on me! Oh well, I just gotta get the weight of it hanging over my head off...

Have a great Saturday!
