Hey, Ladies! I am catching up after everyone left I guess. I ate 5 more oopsies for "lunch." Gadzooks. I guess I have had my oopsie fix now.

They are pretty eggy, and pretty much just meringue except I don't think you add the yolks back to meringue. Anyway, they are darn tasty around a hamburger but I didn't make one. I just ate them with butter. Fast. Like a starving animal. What is WITH this appetite?

Anyway, ate a little salad too and am defrosting a steak for dinner. I will have some sauted zucchini with that. And hopefully will then be able to stop the madness for the day! Now, nobody send me any of your PB calories...

Tulips...ah, well, ladies, I am not under the impression they are tender bulbs (like gladiolas) that have to be lifted in the winter. If I don't have to lift them during MY winters, odds are, you guys don't. They are hardy as heck, and they and the daffodils are the first to show their faces, right after the crocuses do their thing (which is brief and usually pitiful, because crocuses usually pop before all of the snowing action is over). The tulips and daffs are in bloom here now, but our spring is probably later than many of yours. Next will be the irises, which are already up but not budded. They will last through the first part of June.

Welcome back, Kitty!

Wow, did ya'll hear about that big sink hole in Daisetta Texas? It was just on the news. It's like this area just keeps falling in and has swallowed everything in its path - it's already bigger than two football fields and still going! Can you imagine!!!

Good Grief Mary I cannot belive that you have NEVER had apples and peanut butter????? That is why I have for breakfast...and I will prolly have the same for dinner...or whenever...I did manage to hit the Sonic today and get a grilled chicken sandwich...just ate the chicken...I know I need to up my calories, then maybe I would lose faster, but things are just so crazy busy that I find myself running all the time with no time to shop or cook...not to mention the cost of food..OMG!

Terie....thanks, but are you sure you want to entrust me with educating your son next year??...You know I am sooooooo uneducated, don't have a masters degree in Special Education and Learning Disabilities, haven't coached and taught grades K-8...no was I named teacher of the year...not once, but TWICE!! I am highly unqualified..ask Tommie....her kid must have shed a few IQ points having me as a teacher this year....I am not an egotistical person, but that is one area that I know I am DAMN good at!

Oh, Ok Mary Green Thumb...my babies have me these little plants for mothers day (i'm not supposed to know about them) they have been growing them at school in these little cups....one if a sunflower, not sure about the other one...what the heck do I do with them? I know, plant them in dirt or whatever, but how big should they be before I transplant them....geeze, you would never guess I grew up in the country cuz I can't grow SQUAT!! Gimme a few horses and some cattle and I can handle it...but a garden??? Well, we would just starve!

I know Shala! Isn't that hilarious??? Well, I've been a deprived child. You know, honestly before LC I really wasn't much of a peanut butter fan. It sorta has grown on me, so that's probably why. I've always ate my apples just plain and straight.

On the plants, they are probably both fine for transplanting in the ground by the time you get them. Heck sunfowers can be grown just from throwing seeds in the ground. I know kids grow bean plants from seed at school alot cuz they are fast and easy and those can be grown from seed in the ground too. You can make this a fun project for them planting it and watching it grow! I can't seem to do sunflowers cuz the squirrels won't leave 'em alone. Heck you could probably grow the sunflower in a sunny windowsill in a pot!

I think I will go with the window sill idea....if I plant them in the yard they might get in the way of my obsessive yard mowing..lol...I am loving my new lawnmower..gotta mow at least ONCE a week...my mom thinks im nuts!

Hi Ladies:
CRAZY day!!!!! I have been going a million miles an hour. We thought my middle son may have broken his pitching arm. X-rays showed no break, but he may have tissue bleeding and we need to follow up with an orthopedist.

My youngest son with autism has been having a rough couple of weeks and as we speak he is in his room screaming and tantrumming!

I am having a cocktail!

Some days with him are worse then others.

I just finished my 3rd clean day of induction and have a batch of oopsie rolls in the oven...........very hopeful that they are good.........I'd kill for a turkey sandwich!! I stopped at the market after the doctor and bought a precooked turkey breast.......a little mayo and an oopsie and I could be a very happy girl.

I hope all my girls are doing great

Jen

I don't know about your area, but here we plant the bulbs in the fall and they just come up every year....I live near Holland, MI...Tulip Capital of the USA! Actually, the Tulip Festival is going on this week. Come to think of it (Shala), they may have the world's largest tulip....hehehehehehe
