Slatman~I chew gum everyday and just been looking to make sure it's sugar-free I may need to give it up too...thanks for the heads up.

Amy~Sorry that your meal plan tonight has to be changed. I have a young son and know how you feel... Hope you have something you can make quickly on hand and not have to cook another large meal. Yes, you will laugh at this, not tomorrow, but maybe next week..LOL

Diana~ How are you today? You're so close to onederland..it'g going to happen soon..especially with the addition of exercise.

Debi~ Don't worry about the weight gain..it will come off. Although, I must admit..pizza burgers sounds like it was worth the slight gain..

Laron~I've been battling the water thing too. I did good the first week and can't seem to stay consistent with drinking what I set as a goal daily. I do at least get in 64oz. I feel ya!!

Amy...is this meatball bandit the same child you were giving away for teething?? lol actually you just wanted a break i think...(hope I am remembering that right!)...you live such a charmed life...enjoy and cherish it while you can...they grow up quickly and believe it or not...so do their trial and errors!!

today is one year since the day my dad had his surgery, then he was in the ICU for 7 weeks before passing....im not looking forward to the time between now and the anniversary it was a very rough time...

Thanks Shari and Denise! I am doing well! During the day my hunger pangs are very minimal, but after dinner for some reason, I was craving something sweet. I just bit the bullet and drank water.

I go see the doc on the 27th of this month. I want to be under 200 when I go so he can say, "Wow diana, what happened to you!!" LOL!!!

I'm off to the store now, what should I buy!! Fish and shrimp! Yumm!

cskies - we shop at the commissary. They freeze all the meat from the states and send it over here so "fresh" is out of the question. There is fresh meat at the local japanese markets but once I went to buy beef and bought liver instead because all the writing is in kanji so I don't ever buy meat locally ever again. They have Costco here, but they tend to the japanese favorites, such as squid pizza and tons and tons of sushi (which I love but if I don't know what is in there, I don't eat it, and again, can't tell because everything is in kanji) So....I'm stuck eating frozen meat, but it is ok, I know it is safe and from the US OF A!!!

kss - praying for you and your family. I was very close to my grandma and lost her over 10 years ago but still think of her daily.

Down another pound. So total of 6.5 since last monday. Not bad considering I'm still using HWC everyday w/my coffee. Haven't exercised at all this week, I usually have a hard time during TOM week. Hope all is well in the States........almost the end of the week already here!

Decided to have tuna/hb eggs mixed with a little mayo(not stillman, I know) and mustard for supper instead of the hamburger/cottage cheese. Really enjoyed it!!

Got some sun too...it actually came out of hiding for a bit tonight.

Got energized from that and the good supper and walked my 3.5 evening miles at a faster pace and enjoyed that too!! That made for my mind set goal of 6 miles done for the day!!

Should get some house cleaning done since I am jazzed up for some reason...hmmmm....naw...not going to happen tonight!!

I'm baaaccckkkkk!!!!

First of all, Daniel, your bike pic is awesome, glad to see you are still keeping fit.

It's been a couple months since I've been here, and just this week started back on Stillman's. I know that I have gained at least 10 lbs. back, maybe more, in the last couple months, my life has been full of twists and turns and tragedies, so I won't go into that.....and my weight was not a priority even though I still tried to keep things going, I became a slave once again to the carbs and the sweets.

So....I'll give this a try again. I'll have to gumption up and get on the scale (I haven't, been too scared).

Nice to see a couple of names I recongnize and congrats to all of you who are losing weight big time.

I'll try to post as often as I can and update my stats once I get on the scale, maybe tomorrow morning....And I'll try to keep going as I once promised myself.....

So sorry about your father, my own passed 2 yrs ago on the 20th of this month. He was in surgery one day, had a heart attack the next and was gone in a flash. I still think of him every day as well......

Good morning eveyone!

Welcome back Jane!

I didn't know if I was going to keep posting here because I'm kind of doing Atkins. Actually I've been doing one meal Atkins and 2 Stillmans. May not make sense but i guess I'm doing the 14 day Stillmans, lol!! I don't know, but whatever I'm doing, it's working for me.

Menu:
S-turkey a little avocado on a rev roll
B- 2 hb eggs w/mustard, a little mayo,
L- leftover tilapia
D- something with ground beef

Giving up AS is good, that is def helping me. But I think I will have my chocolate coffee al la Shala, on the weekends only.

Mothers Day is arriving and I'm wondering what kind of dessert to make. I am always in charge of desserts and usually make a low carb one. So any one have any suggestions? I may do a cheesecake, but trifles are good too.
If anyone has a good one, I don't mind hearing!!

I've only been back on Stillmans for 6 days but kinda feel like a salad..so may have one today. I'm going to start listening to what my body is telling me, as long as it doesn't tell me to go back to high carb land Good news is that I finally weighed myself yesterday and was back to pre-cruise weight (190). Weighed this morning and it said 189.5 but then said 190 again. So going to stick to 190.

I had lost a pound yesterday and this morning I had gained .4g when I stepped on the scale. I did strict Stillman yesterday. I found I had the whoosh when I had a refeed day in there. My calories maybe a bit low to,

Do you think it has to do with the salmon. I know Salmon is not considered lean, but I was to lazy to go out and buy myself some of the lean stuff. I had this at home and wanted to put it to use.

Any suggestions?

weighed in this morning ... just for a peek ... and it said 221. yay my original goal was to be 219 by next wed... i think i can do it!!

feeling good. i even did my 30 minutes of exercise last nite!

Did 4.5 on the treadmill and arms today.

Just coffee and water.

Not really hungry.

Gonna try and eat a Hb Egg with mustard and more water.

Diana do not go awol from this tread as well. Heck I'm waiting to hear what the Docs says and I love the post of your cakes ect.....
