Well I lost 2lbs. I was really expecting more but I am sure it has something to do with not taking the laxative yet, also my increased workouts which seem to be adding muscle, I am definitely losing inches my pants are big , I mite possibly need to lay off the ribs(red meat right?) So I will increase my water and decrease my diet pop intake , I probably need to eat more as well. The good thing about the scale is that I guess you can gauge what you are doing and see what works and what really doesnt.

Im still looking for a place. GRRR sickening but My Godsons Godfather is moving so I am going to look at the place in hopes that its decent and he can simply transfer the lease to me. Sounds so easy but I am sure there will be some drama, this whole grown up thing is wack!!! Bills responsiblity !!!!!
then the BF thinks in order to save money we should move in together, granted NYC is expensive but I come from a very strict religious family where you cant "shack up" live together before marriage, I know if my parents come visit me he cant be there with me, I mean they love him like thier own son we have been together 8 years ...but I dunno we do have plans to get married in the future but if we move in now, what is there to look forward to when we get married, ya know. I could even see if we were engaged living together to save for a wedding ....but I dunno. I just dont want him too get comfortable ya know Ladies. Whew thanks for letting me ramble, I appreciate it !

Hey everybody! I haven't posted since last month and I come back and see everyone's is moving right along so well. Hello to all the ones who have joined since I've been gone. I've been up and down the same 3 or 4 lbs. for the past few weeks, now I'm trying to get serious and get this moving again so I'm back -- again. I've come too far to just stop so I'm hoping to find my motivation.

I've been strict with my eating for the past 5 days and today I'm going to start walking every evening. I'm going to be brave and say I commit myself to a goal of AT LEAST 15 pounds lost in May. You ladies can be my inspiration, okay?

well im feelin like i am doin well and trying to be active as i can be , hopefully ill take another loss im greedy that way want to see the scale move everyday , hehehehe if it only worked out that way right? only thing that is bothering me is this over whelming cravings for something sweet , dont know where it came from but i wish it would leave me be, think ill get me some sf jello and hopefully that will help!!!!!!!

Today is day #1 BACK ON PLAN! Siiiiigh... I'm sad to say that I'm up to 351 again... but I am ready to lose it again and a whole lot more! I'm also tting back to the gym today. My new-ish goal is to lose 50lbs before my hubby and I consider getting pregnant. I will still be way above my goal weight, but I should be a lot healthier to carry a baby. So... talk about MOTIVATION! I so want to DO THIS!!!

ok girls ever since i cycled back into atkin i have been craving sweets im hopin 3 days on strict stillmans will break me out of this crazy cravings, its like pure torchor helppppppppppppp!!!!! im gonna drink a coffee instead to calm the cravings then alot of water and hope for the best.........

im gonna burn some sage with sweet grass and cleanse my house and hope that will help btw im native american if u didnt know and irish can u imagin the temper i can have lol . im also very spiritual so ill sage and hope that clears the negative presence........

Hello Everyone!

TOM finally came and I am hoping that will signal a whoosh in a week or so. Still been craving stuff too... Hang tough Magickal. I feel your pain. I did have a sugar free turtle today... Not gonna beat myself up though.. it was delicious and I am hoping it will satisfy the craving monster.

Welcome back Heather. Glad you're back!

Still waiting a few more days before I get back on the scale. Trying to get plenty of water in. Did get a short walk in today -- but no other exercise. Got to do better with that tomorrow.... just a rough tom day. Sorry if tmi, but tom has been pretty severe on this woe. I read somewhere on these boards that as fat cells are broken down and released, stored estrogen is too and can make tom worse. Does that make sense?

Love this thread. Thanks for all of the support and information you guys always share.

I think Magic is trying to show us all up, girls!! Just kidding! I'm extremely proud of you, and just a wee bit jealous, but in a good way!!

Good day today - I watched a video about artificial sweetner that will scare your socks off - it's on another thread on the board called Sweet Misery! Definitely affirmed my feeling that I need to lay off the diet cokes!

I need to go to bed! Feeling like I'm getting Pink Eye - that's all I need!! Wonder I haven't gotten it yet w/ both my kids having it!

Hey I am super sore from Cardiop kick boxing yesterday before lunch

got on the scale again today see this is why I stay away from it, it says I am up 1lb there must be some problem I dont know is it becuase I havent taken a lax? not drinking enough water or is it the muscle thing or am I just not eating enough ? OK i will be honest i was a lil down this morning, but I am going to go back and see what I was eating when I lost the most, It maybe the ribs I have been eatin? just GRRRRR Ok got that out I am not losing site of the goal !!! 30lbs. in MAY I have to do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Slim,

Perhaps two more snacks in between breakfast and dinner? Just a few veggies to keep you a burning? Otherwise, your menus look great to me. Our bodies go through changes...remember...down 3 lbs, up 3 lbs, down 4 lbs etc. I hate the scale too. I will weigh on the 10th, 20th and May 31st. I too am pumped up to get 15 lbs off this month.

Today is Workout Wed. I plan to go for a walk tonight, stretch and get some leg strengthening exercises in and get a lot done around the house. I'm in the middle of spring cleaning. It's hard when my husband works too many hours to help, and I work full time, but I have a great dent in it.

Today's menu:
Breakfast: 4 sausage links, 1 fried egg
Snack: shaved turkey
Lunch: leftover chicken breast on salad
Snack: rest of shaved turkey...finally gone
Dinner: pork chop, california blend veggies
Snack if needed: fried cheese

Doing better on my water. But not as good as most of you.

Whoo hoo!!

I did week2 of my personal running trainer. I also met with the Y director and she set me up on weights for 2 days a week. I didn't finish my complete walk because I had to meet with her so I have 25 minutes to go. I have the night off (I am a stay at home mom with 5 kids and a husband), so I'll go back to the Y to finish my walk.

I've got half my water in already. AND I'm getting my hubby on this WOE... Yea!

hi girls no loss today but ill will push thru and drink alot of water , congrates on the loss still no tom i must be missin it this month which i aint complaining .... its well over a week late and no chance of being pregnant so imust be changing cycles. girls u all are doing great yes this is gonna be a great month alot of weight shedded and gone forever,my goal is 280 and i will meet it , im doing everything very strict.

I am not going to get discouraged you are right that scale just goes up and down etc.

To really crack up WORK OUT WEDNESDAY I went to my 2nd Spinning class and boy do my thighs hurt!!!! Its insane you have stare in the mirror and the more I thought I dont want to be the cute "Big Gurl" anymore the harder I pushed, yeah I wasnt at the same pace as the class but just for me to be there and put all my insecurities aside and not think about what other people will say ......its just amazing i am not where I want to be but i know that I am on the right road now and that feeling is just......awesome.

jennbaker - welcome chica glad u are here , we are up beat and we got a lil chalenge goin on this month so set a goal for the month and we will see who makes there goals hopefully all of us !!!!!!!!! u will find great support here and inspiration from all i want 20 pounds of so i need to be at 280 by june 1st got 5 down so far hopefull anothe 5 next week im gonna kick up the excersize. hey girls what u think about making thusdays racap days re comfirmin our goals, just an idea!!!!
