Oh Brandi...stay true! That's a lot of carbs (you know you can't eat 1 Cup of kettle corn...the devil would insist you have at least 4 or 5 cups...then you'd have a terrible stomach ache from the slimey devil bouncing around in there upsetting your digestion. So look the temptation in the eye and say MAUI~MAUI~MAUI. This is guaranteed to banish the kettle corn devil! But you have to BELIEVE!
 )Seriously, girl, it would not be worth it. Just keep telling yourself you can have the junk on vacation--guilt free--if you behave now! You can do this.

Hey Jen and Kim, I am good, thanks for asking! Raining here and so it is one of those bleary-dreary energy-less days.
Foodwise I have been doing great as far as staying on plan, though sometimes I am a little too generous with the amount of food. The only significant cheat was the "real" long island iced tea I had yesterday. I ask again, SOMEONE, what is a good LC sub for sour mix? I ordered some Zilch to add to tequila for margaritas, and don't know if that would work for my purpose or not. I am so excited to find all of these LC spins on nice summertime drinks! Especially blender drinks! I DO so LOVE my umbrella drinks and hate to give up the summer afternoons of hanging out on the deck with a pitcher of strawberry daquiris! Truly, I may actually be able to live this way forever! I had an egg cream for bre...unch, marking day 6 of my own little experiment. I am hungry though, so I am surprised it didn't have more staying power. Although it may be that my insulin levels are screwy and that is making me hungry...for some reason the last few days my insulin has not been having predictable responses. The blood sugar roller coaster is what makes you hungry, and it is patently unfair that I should HAVE a blood sugar roller coaster at all since avoiding it is the point of LC-ing. Anyway, hopefully it is temporary. Could be the week before TOM thing...sometimes, it seems, all bets are off on what my chemicals are doing about this time. Gonna eat a steak for supper. Somehow beef is sounding really good...Come to think of it, this must be the welcoming party for TOM. Hope I can keep losing this time around!

I nearly had a wreck making a Uey in the MIDDLE of the road!!! Then when I pulled into the SONIC, there was a car in front of me and I just knew they were gonna park on my tooth!!!! Luckly they parked in the parking spot next to it!!! I bailed out of the truck and went to hunting!!! I can't believe it, but I walked right to that dang tooth!!! Apparently It had rolled under my truck the first time!!! Well long story made a little shorter, they were able to glue it back in!!! WAHOO!!! Still cost me $48.00!!! But whoo....What a day!!!

I was soo upset, I thought I was gonna STROKE out!!! And then when I got to the DENTIST office, A good customers work truck was parked in the parking Lot and I thought "HOLY SNAPS!! He's gonna see me without my TEETH!!" Thank God he was already in a chair!! He's suppose to bring his wife in this afternoon to look at trucks!! He may not have wanted to come after seeing TOOTHLESS TOMMIE!!!
