Kathy, after working steady since the age of 15, it is nice to have the freedom from work I do have to admit. Still since this wasn't a "planned" retirement it is also a bit stressful worrying about my future retirement income. I really need to get back to working so I can save for retirement!! What a sweet picture! It must be crazy wild to look at your daughter as a young woman. I miss my son. He's been doing the grave shift thing for a bit and I haven't seen him in forever and of course he never calls his mom. I know ... he's involved in his own life and family, but I still miss my boy.

Brandi, I like your mini goal.... and good job on bypassing the chocolate chips. And congrats on that pound too - see? If you stick with it you are rewarded! KEEP IT UP!! Maui is just around the corner. On those wings, like Cathy mentioned when I make them I DO mix in hot sauce with the buttah!! Yumster they are goooooood, with or without.

Well, I'm off to get some breakfast gals and figure out my day. I have things to do outside of course - beetles or slugs or some pest has already gotten to several of my new plants - one is almost completely eaten down to the ground, couple are totally gone. I really hate these bad bugs and pests that show up in the dead of night and undo your hard work!!!

Need to make a Walmart run for basics but I'm not feeling very energetic today... that whole incident yesterday had me upset all night and I didn't sleep much. I tend to let that kind of stuff get to me too much I suppose.
Well everybody have a great day!! Catch up with ya'll later.
The cream cheese just makes it more creamilicous!!
Plus the heavy cream, I tried a bite last night and I am not a big egg fan, but it was really good.

Jen - I'm sure somewhere in there running your mouth burns calories- I'll have to ck on that I can't afford the gym, plus that's more time away from my kids!

Okay Jen - you do burn calories while talking- I logged into my everyday health and they have an activity tracker- so I typed in talking and it came up - so for the weight I'm at it showed I burn 65 cal. for 1 hour. Amazing!!!

WTG Brandi...down a lb. & you avoided the cookies! Maui will be more fun because of this, you know! One day at a time, girl...you'll love yourself for it

Hi, Di...great pic, and glad to see you back amongst us Mary is right...you look loverly! ...now we need to hear from Kitty--give us a shout Kitty. (We know you're busy, but if you take a break to read the boards, just pop in for a Hi.

Shala, sorry you had to lose sleep over the lousy thread...and eat something girl...you're gonna waste away.

The egg dish sounds wonderful Jen. We love anything resembling quiche. How well does this keep (is it o.k. for a couple of days...just DH & me at home so it'd take us awhile to eat a big batch.)

Hello to everyone else Hope you're all keeping on plan today...catch you later (back to work. For awhile.)

Not sure how well it keeps, its the first time I made it. I have to say, I am not a big egg fan and this was really good.

Hi Jen - I love my time away from the kids, mine are 18, 16, 13. It's nice to get away from DH sometimes too. They all demand too much of my time. I love my gym time too, it de-stresses me. I can't get motivated to work out much at home anymore. When the weather's nicer, I'll start riding my bike again.

Diana - good to see you're still among us. We missed you!

Hi to Brandi and Cathy and Shala la la and Mary and everyone else I missed!

'K... walked around outside and looked at what needs to be done, then came in and remembered I needed to run the dishwasher so I'm waiting on that to finish before I go to the store. I can't focus. Shala I tossed and turned all night too and the more I think about this the madder I get grrrrrrr... I'm so mad I could SPIT. I'm gonna try to figure out what to cook for dinner and what all I need from the store and try to calm down lol.....

Oh BTW everybody, I called Kitty yesterday but got her voicemail. I left her a message and just hope everything is okay with her. I remembered that she did mention at some point in the past about going on a trip with DH but I can't remember when that was going to be????

Oh Brandi... that totally cracks me up!!! Well, I wonder how many calories we burn typing, cuz that's where most of my "talking" comes in these days lol.... Yeah the bugs... every time that I spray one of the JB formulas, it rains and washes it away, or I have to wait to do it again till the threat of bad weather passes. We have more rain coming in from Texas and Oklahoma I hear, so gotta wait again! I hate this bug chasing process of gardening and in the mood I'm in, I'm ready to break out the chemicals I tell ya!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr......

Jen I hear ya.. 3 kids at that age God knew better than to do that to me!!!

Tommie, where ya at??? I need some of your funnies to put me in a better mood!!!!!

Hey Jen Jen! I managed to keep it legal yesterday. A bit more carbs than I would like (those darn cashews) but still legal.

I'm at the contractors today. I'm supposed to be working but I can't concentrate. I want to be outside - it's too nice out there to be here working.

I just finished taking a metabolic typing test from Jillian Michaels book (from Biggest Loser show). I am a balanced oxidizer, which means my ideal macronutrient ratio is 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat. And here I am low-carbin it.

Mary - isn't this similar to your plan?

Jen, doing pretty good actually. My calories were a bit too high a few days last week because I ate things before plugging them in FitDay so they were more like maintenance calories a couple of times rather than weight loss calories plus I added in the walking last week too, so my scale didn't drop. PLUS I'm also having the TOM symptoms. I don't have a regular TOM anymore, but I still have the symptoms. When I looked in the mirror last night I could see the puffiness in my face and I feel bloated so I know I'm retaining water. Plus even though my hunger level has been higher thanks to hormone shifting, for some reason my digestion also slows when this happens and that always makes me feel sluggish too. What a mess eh???

Hey Kim... didn't mean to miss ya before - we must've been posting about the same time. I don't have a bike but I was thinking about getting one - they aren't too expensive and maybe I can use my stimulus check for that! If it ever gets here that is!

Did anybody receive their stimulus check yet? We filed electronically, but since we didn't have a refund coming, we didn't get to give bank info for the check to get electronically deposited. Guess the tax software programs didn't account for that!

I really don't feel like eating my cheeseburger either. I know I have to though!

Oh, Mary - I typed in typing and for my weight it said 116 calories , that's doing misc. work like writing typing, sitting in 1 hour. Don't know how accurate that is? But we must burn a lot of calories typing

Yeah Kim! Actually it is! In fact, those are roughly the percentages I'm aiming for. Now... what is this test?? How can I take it to see where I "should" be? Do I have to buy the book?? I'd be curious to see.
