So far behind - that victory was short-lived!

I'll catch up later!

The guy is coming to fix the ice maker and dryer today - at least I hope he fixes them.
I have to take my mom to get her clothes altered, get to the grocery store - make a pie for a dinner for a friend who just had surgery for breast cancer, and DS19 is coming home today - so I have to clean up in his room - DH has been taking naps in there . . .

Just running through wishing you a very Happy Day. I was sick yesterday so didn't get much done in the house, so today I will be busy.

See ya... I'll check-in from time to time...

Slept in as long as I could this morning, since I'm still not feeling well. I've a crazy sore throat now too. Isn't it late in the year for this?

I feel really run down still - I'm SO glad I stayed home yesterday. I couldn't sleep, even though I was wide awake exhausted. Though I'm sure the time helped somehow...

If nothing else it was nice to have the extra time to put into my studies before I went and took my test yesterday.

Sipping a warm mug of coffee with sugar free hazelnut creamer.

Hope everyone has a good day.

stews, I hope that you are doing well today.

I'm still not my best but had to get back on my pump inhibitor last night. I just produce too much acid and it makes me sick...

Hey thanks not feeling better but went to the doc. My blood pressure was high again, this time 161/91 so he gave me a pill to take every day, am supposed to get other blood work done and go back in a month also to take BP 3 times a week at least and write it down. My Mom had it and it makes perfect sense that it would be this that is causing the headaches and fatigue. Don't ya think?

Unfortunately hypertension is hereditary. Just do what you're supposed to do, and trust God with the rest! Right?

Yes, it does. E-mail me anytime, you know I've been battling that too, and I know how frustrating it is, so if you need/want reassurance, I'm just a call or e-mail away.

landis I am so glad that you went to your Dr. You definately have high blood pressure. Mine read close to what your's is when my Dr. put on the medication. You should have good results with your medication right away. Maybe a couple of days or so.
May I ask what drug he gave you?

Thanks Patty! He gave me a sample to use for 30 days. Can't remember the name and it's in the car. I already feel a bit better, headache is getting better and I feel overall better. That was fast!

Just make sure that you take it every day, and don't miss any. High Blood Pressure runs in my family too. My Mom and Dad both had it and one of my Brother's has it real bad. They can't control his very well even with drugs. Just take care of yourself, and I am glad that you are feeling better.

I'm still not feeling too well. I had to get back on my GERD Medicine last night, and my stomach is not back to normal yet. I am hoping this will get better fast. I am not doing anything today but resting. I hate missing my exercise but when the GERD comes then it causes me to have the chronic itching, and I had to deal with both yesterday. I can't remember how long it takes before the pump inhibitor starts making you feel better.

Sharon when I first found out that I had high blood pressure, I was having a lot of anxiety and panic attacks, so I know that it can do all kinds of things to you. I am taking Caduet, which is a combination pill of Norvasc and Lipitor together.
