Hey Theresa - glad to see ya. Not much happening on here this weekend so luckily there's not much to catch up on.

Been trying to do some stuff around the house this weekend, but with 3 teens, it's hard to keep up on it. I did manage to get some laundry done though. I cleaned the house yesterday, but you can't tell now.

Make sure you make some Theresa time, just for you. I've been trying that, even if it's only 1/2 hour. Sometimes I just go sit in the yard and read the paper, sometimes I sit in my room and listen to my MP3 player. I just need to go off and relax for a bit and wind down - away from everyone/everything stressful. I'm still learning to do it, otherwise I'd go batty. I'd like to learn to meditate, but it's hard.

I do have a question. Is there something I can replace the carbs in my diet with to regain energy? I have been very sluggish since going low carb. I did not really notice it over the winters but in the summers I like to kite surf and it really works you. I was having to rest more than play this weekend.

Hey there Kim! I agree...take time for ourselves! it is so important....to me...that is cleaning my house and diving into my Mary Kay business! I don't know what it is .... but I love to be busy...and what girl doesn't LOVE to play with make-up! lol....I look like a four year old who got into my mom's make up sometimes when I am playing with new colors and experimenting with new looks! It really is very funny!!!!

All of you guys take care and I will catch up with you all tomorrow! HAVE AN AWESEOM MONDAY!!!

BTW, congrats on those 3 pounds!! Sounds like you are on the way to that beachwear! WTG!!

On the energy thing, I had to quit doing extreme low carb due to this - now I just kind of watch the sugars and whites - but I still hang around the board to keep up with my friends!! Anyway, I was watching a program this weekend that talked about using CoQ10 for energy. I haven't ever tried it, so can't attest to it personally, but it might be worth giving a shot. Course they were pushing their own product, but I think you can find that pretty much anywhere these days.

Jimmy - on days when you are working out, you should add some extra "good" carbs. Your body needs them to keep the energy up. I was just talking to a trainer about this on Thursday. If you are sluggish you may need more carbs n your diet.
