Still hooked on Callanetics. In the beginning of April I was in Los Cabos so no Callanetics. But upon return I stuck with two days a week of Callanetics and then to 3 days a week. Definitely not ready for Super C.

I'll be continuing Callanetics 10/10, Cardio Callanetics w/Quick Callanetics Hips & Behind and Callanetics Evolution.

I have felt better internally and feel that I look slimmer. Its nice to feel relaxed and stretched out after a workout. As opposed to exhausted and can't move a muscle.

Twyla totally appreciate all the advice on Callanetics and diet you give.

Twila --
I read over all the Atkins approach on their website -- I am thinking this is something I could do as long as I am not hungry -- the only downside is the lack of caffeine -- and the headaches -- I am an RN and DEPEND (ok, I am an addict) on the caffeine! Any suggestions?
Also, I currently have a routine that is Mon - Fri to allow me to spend my weekends travelling and being with the fam (we are stationed in Germany) -- is that ok? or, do I need to try to get in 10 mins of cardio on the weekends?
Thanks so much!
Kat.

5 hours Callanetics!!

Wow - I'm so impressed by all the results on this thread! Marsha - it looks like you had a tummy tuck! Astonishing! Your bellybutton is beautiful!
I am marking my spot and joining the challenge. I'm going to try to do this 3x/week for the month of May. Currently I do nothing! Very sad...I work full-time, have 2 kids, and have a small business. It's tricky for me to do much, but I obviously need to do something. I think I can handle 3 hours/week.

lildragonfly,

What an impressive progress! Your stomach looks flat, and the waist is definitely pulling in from the sides. Way to go!

Twyla,

Thanks for your respons re: 'day off'. I decided to take it easy this one day a week, and just make myself content with the physical activity limited to cleaning around the house. I'm putting on my Flylady uniform today

Well, only 1/2 hour of Evolution completed as ds started barfing and hasn't quit yet! I won't count it, but will try to do a full hour plus cardio tomorrow to make up for the completely sluggish day I had today, even though it was 70's and beautiful outside. Oh, well, part of being a mom, I guess.

Lildragonfly - Awesome progress! You have changed soooo much - it's always so motivating to see those photos!

Whoa.. what an incredible change. You are looking fantastic.

I can see from your siggy you've done 41 hours. How much "real time" does that represent? like 3 months? Have you lost a lot of pounds, too?

I'm really impressed, I hope my 41 hour pix look that good!

twyla/tweaking diet

Hi Twyla -
Tried to pm you but couldnt figure out how!

Thankyou for offering to help; but at the moment i am way beyond tweaking my diet. I have tweaked my diet for 20 yrs., and have gotten to the point where I feel i have done everything I possibly can on the physical level.
I have read everything under the sun re dieting nutrition exercise etc. - and at the end of the day it doesnt seem like any of it has made a difference.

As far as I can tell my body seems to want to be fatter - I spend all my time fighting against it ; but sooner or later it returns to the same point of gaining weight. Then I have to perform more and more difficult contortions to try to lose the weight again.

For now I am just getting over my profound pain that I have gained weight despite great effort..
After that- i dont know.
