Hi Everyone!

Have fun Windy!! Whoohoo!! You deserve a break today! LOL!!

Hi Moretta, I don't count cals either, I just eat when I'm full and drink alot of water too.

Hi KSS, I don't know if I should be happy or upset with you, LOL!! But hey, the shorts falling off, is definately a big Wow!! That's awesome!!

Hi Magickal, I had a little refeed yesterday, I made some taco meat and had a taco salad with some homemade guacamole. I loved it! I almost made me a burrito with beans like I made dh, but I didn't.
You are doing so good!! Keep up the good work!!

Hi Crohnie, you're going to do good on Stillmans! Good for you on starting back up!!

Hi Amy, I know what you mean about Atkins, we keep saying how it feel to eat salads and veggies and fat too! Yum!

Hi Browniee, Wow, good job on doing Stillmans especially in your line of work! Takes a lot of self-control to do that!! Good for you!!

Have a great day Everyone!!

ok... back on Stillman's tomorrow. one thing i learned about myself today is that i don't like this out of control feeling. i know i like strawberries wayyyyyy to much to even have them in the house...let alone try and only eat 3 on my refeed day. i have def learned my lesson though. and i will be much much better at planning my refeed days ... sticking to veggies that are fairly low in carbs. ok whew... going 6 days on Stillman's then refeed next sat again... i have so much to lose i doubt my body will disagree with me it doesn't help that TOM is here too. oh well, live and learn... NO STRAWBERRIES LOL!

thanks all for listening to my rant...

Hey Magickal...WOW...how awesome. Keep on pushing through and you will get to your next goal in no time.

It is Sunday here in Japan, and I haven't lost any more but haven't gained either. My first week totals 5 pounds. TOM is here so I'm not beating myself up. Maybe the pace will pick up this week. Yesterday I took my Brownie Gril Scout Troop to Build a Bear in Tokyo. They wanted to eat at Wendy's and Cold Stone but I did good and just ate 2 patties. I am so proud of myself. Ice cream and frosties are definitely one of my weak spots.

Here is going to the beginning of an accomplished week everyone!!

What does everyone put on their fish and meat?

I eat my plain. I had some chicken breast tonight and boy it was hard to swallow because it was so dry. I managed to get 3 oz down my throat I could not handle the rest. Maybe later if I get a rumbling stomach I will dig into the other bit of chicken breast.

Anybody eating cottage cheese?

Hi Moretta!

I put cocktail sauce on my fish and on my meats nothing really, I just season it really well. On my burgers I use a little ketchup on it. But that's it.

I do eat cottage cheese, I get the 2% kind.

How are you doing so far?

LaRon, great pic!!!

Hey People!!!
AmyinTX I agree with you. There are certain things I have to severly limit or replace even on refeed days. Also the way your tricking your body I doubt you'll have any trouble losing.
As much as dreamfields pasta, I can still put down a box at a time. So I decided to go with the tofu shiritaki, not the same, but decent enough for refeeds
Good job at the Brownie troop LaRon!!
Cute pics Diana and LaRon

ok, has anyone had friends that sabotage your diet? I have a friend that keeps on coming over with things such as cupcakes last night and today she came w/peanut butter brittle and fresh italian bread. I was doing fine, making my kids eat all the goodies to get them out of the house, but the fresh hot soft italian bread did me in. I ended up giving in and them trying to talk myself into thinking I would use it as my refeed meal. Anyhow, that went to eating a chocolate shake, then cream puffs. I wasn't even hungry. So now I am just going to drink water, water and more water and sleep this off. Hopefully tomorrow morning (Monday here in Japan) I will start fresh and my scale won't scare me too bad. This is what I mean about having a hard time on the weekends for me. And I messed up at 3 pm Sunday which means I was almost over the hump! DARN. Ok, lessons learned.

I think I'm going to dump the coffee/HWC, I still lose on them but I notice when I drink tea instead, the scale moves faster. Maybe my imagination.

Everyone looks awesome!

Is it already Sunday??

Yesterday was a long day...got up early to walk and then did alot of running around in Salina...went to McPherson to the Button Hole...it is a quilt shop with a coffee shop included that serves the best coffee and coffee drinks. Met up with one of my married daughter's girl friends from college! She came home with us and we all went to check out my son's cattle and have supper at a local gas station/hamburger joint!! And then the girls all stayed up talking until 1:30 after they...not me...cruised main street and ran chinese fire drills for an hour!! I bet my college daughter's boyfriend was wondering what he was doing here...they didn't let him get a word in edge wise...smart guy just listened and smiled alot!!

I did good with eating out...we went to Chili's and I had the oldtimer hamburger (just your basic burger with (mustard/ onion slice and pickle) and lost the bun ...went with a salad with ranch on the side and dropped the french fries. Had iced coffee at the Button Hole and then a small ham chef salad at the hamburger place...no dressing..the salad had a hard boiled egg sliced on it with ham chunks and shreded cheese...not bad considering where we were eating!

Didn't get a chance to weigh this morning...I was trying to be quiet since everyone is sleeping so I just came downstairs without checking in with the scale...I will do that tomorrow!

Sounds like everyone had a very busy day yesterday...glad you all survived and will continue on today...that is what is nice about Stillman's ...there is always tomorrow to get back on plan. Keep up the good work...you will love the results!!

Diana...love your new picture in the avitar...you are looking GOOD!! How many pictures did you take before you were satisfied with the great one you posted?

LeRon...you have a great smile too!! Sorry that your friend isn't helping with your food plan...some things are just too much to resist...but like I said you can get back to your plan TODAY!! Did you have fun with the build a bear thing you did with the girl scouts...sounds like alot of fun!!

Browniee...your work days sound exhausting and an eating trial everyday...you must have to really plan out what you are going to eat each day...you are doing a great job!!

Magickaltoday will be better!! You will succeed!!

Moretta...I am not much af a sauce person so I just normally add salt and maybe pepper to my fish and chicken...I understand about it being dry though so maybe someone like diana and magickal can give you ideas on fixing it!!

onefitgal...you are doing terrific with the exercise...don't worry about your parents...you will be down to where you want to be soon enough!!

amyintx...Salina has really grown...doesn't compare to Wichita though!! Didn't you say yuo had a high school reunion this year!! Bet that will be alot of fun!! I love strawberries too...very hard to eat just one!!

KSS...Great job on the shorts that are so loose...your husband's remark was quite funny...what a guy!! That is alot to spend and not enjoy the clothes because they don't fit...but what a great feeling at the same time!! Way to Go!!

WindyCityGal...have you got your swimsuit packed and some sun lotion...I have never been to Florida...I am getting excited for you too!!

Chronie...hope you are having a good day...thanks for your great advice!!

Keep up the great work everyone!!

Hi all!!

Magickal! Please, hon, don't even think about yesterday...hey its gone! Think of it as a refeed ! We have to remember the 80/20 percent rule. We are human, we can't be PERFECT 100 percent all the time. IT won't work. Offer it up. And of course! Look how far you've come!! AWESOME!!!

Diana-Oh yea. I had a good time with my dh. We went out to celebrate early Cinco De Mayo -woo hoo. Mexican is kindof hard for low carb. I ordered this strip steak that was marinated with garlic and cilantro. WOW! It was out of this world!! Let me tell you. After eating Stillman (bland ) foods...this was a treat! OH! And of course, The tequilla went down smooth as well!!!

LaRon-just hold on ! That TOM will sometimes stall ya and then BAM, the weight comes off.

Moretta-I eat cottage cheese-1/2 cup every couple days for a snack.

Cskies- yes, I ve got my string bikini packed!!!
Thank goodness for "skirtinis"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello to everyone else! Hope your having a great Sunday -eating clean !!!

Take care!

Hey Chronie
What do you marinate your fish in exactly to get it so yummy. Cuz me whenever I marinated fish I use butter/oil. What can you use on Stillmans?
I would love to be able to marinate my weekly steak too! Suggestion anyone>?

Hope everyones weekend is going well.... I attacked the mountain lance trained on for the 2000 tour de france Lance 17mph average me 10.7 mph really puts things in perspective course it's like I have two backpacks on compared to him at 140 lbs or so...

working till 9:00 tonight and the daughter has softball games going on now it doesn't feel like I get a break sometimes or enough sleep.. oh well guess you can sleep when your dead.

I think I need to get to goal this month to improve my hill climbing so I think I will cut back on the weekend "loading" and just suck up the loss of speed and do more solo riding

random thoughts on a sunday have a great day everyone

Good Morning everyone! Monday here and a brand new start to a new week. I only gained 1 pound after all that cheating yesterday, but I have to be careful because for some reason, I always gain 2 days after a cheat. But....I have to renew my mind because I always used to call it a cheat, now it is a refeed. Ok, hopefully it will be a new way to eat and something I can look forward to and reward myself.

Hope everyone is having a great day.
