Back from beyond

I've been in Santa Clarita/Palmdale since Monday... its fun sticking to the AMP Menu while I'm in the field for 10 hours. BUT, good news... 162.6 on my scale this morning That's 100 lbs gone, gone, gone and never ever coming back

I am suppose to duplicate yesterday to break below 162.6 (162.8 by the time I got to Lindora at 6:45am).

Today's menu:
B: Hot Coco mixed w/ Cappaccino Protein drink

L: chocolate royale pre-can mixed shake with diet choc dr pepper
S: peanut butter crunch bar (at mid-morning) (I'm not suppose to have mid-morning snack, only afternoon snack and that's a bar... but she said to duplicate... my body is okay if I have a bar before noon and then I skip the afternoon snack when I'm on AMP)

D: el pollo loco skinless chicken breast meal (chicken breast/veggies/salad
no dressing and no cheese and no tortilla strips)

S: wildberry protein drink

for a great day

I am done with my 3 protein days.. and starting my weightloss weeks again.
No gain/no loss.. so far. Also back working out in the mornings at the gym.. so I am hoping in a few days I will see some weight loss and results.
So... I did not make my weightloss goal for this month... again.. sigh... but.. at least now I a know that I am back to my reg routine and I can really pay attention to my menu... welcome back NTRGRL!
love your picture sitting in the poppies.. we did not have any here this year!

Hi, everyone!

Just registered here. Question, are any of you doing this program without going to the clinic? I have read 'L4L in a nutshell' and I am trying it on my own. I like the idea of less fat that atkins, and grain/fruit after a few days.

Where are you getting the bars/shakes?

I'll be interested to read your daily menu's if you all have time to post them...

I am on protein day 2.

I did Atkins a few years ago, lost the weight I wanted to (25)...but slooowly gained it all back within the last few years. I am hoping the L4L will be more realistic for me when i am ready to maintain.

welcome to the group and the LFL program. Yes.. I liked it because of the same reasons.. after doing Atkins for a couple of years.
I have found the program very easy to follow.
I use the atkins shakes... from time time.. but my favorite protein shakes are Spiru-tein, I like the chocolate flavor the best..and make it with 1% milk.
and I use the atkins meal replacement bars if I have too.
But over all I try to stick with mother natures real food.. fresh fruits and veggies.. or frozen fruits and veggies.
good luck with the program.. jump on in any time..
I guess we have to make a new thread for may! LOL!

I lost 70 pounds on LFL, and I've never stepped foot in a clinic. Here's my advice:

- Buy the book
- Stick around here
- Buy the book
- Buy the book
- Read the book
- Do what the book says

There's a LOT more to the program than what you eat. There's a mindset that goes along with it and a lot of tricks to keep you from failing. It's cheap, you can buy the LFL book for as low as $11 (I think I paid $13 for it at Barnes & Noble).

At $13, that was 18 cents a pound. Can't beat that price.

The book is structured really unique. You read a chapter a day for 30 days. What I did was read the chapter the night before, so I could apply what was in that day's chapter ON that day.
