Three flights? Whoaaaaaaa, yeah, that's a workout all right.

I think Turbo sculpt is great!

I ended up at the gym today and did Kickboxing, they did a lot of moves that are in Turbo Jam!

We just joined a few weeks ago and did it more so for my 9 year old Son. It's a sports complex and he is so into any kind of sports, loving football the best.

The place is new, just opened in January, very nice and they offer a lot of classes.

I love TJ and will keep doing that on the days I don't go, today was my first day there to take a class, I have gone before just using the treadmill.

I used to be an instructor so I crave the group setting.

Lisa~ That is really neat. I take one class on base. It is yoga. It is only for a month twice a week, but it is teaching me the correct moves. I just want to make sure I do it correctly at home.

Today I did cardio party and yoga sculpt. Wanted to go outside to the park, but it is snowing out...go figure...I hate Colorado.

Thanks Stacey! Are the Yoga moves hard to do?

I ended up at the gym today and did a workout on a BOSU ball. Tomorrow I think I'm going to try the Party Mix 3.

Snowing? Yikes!

so I have decided why I don't like doing CP Mix 1. Everytime I do Mix 1, I become crippled almost. My lower back hurts like no other and I have decided it's from doing "the wheel" part in the first segment. I could never understand why my lower back would hurt so bad. So Mix 1 is never going back into my rotation, haha. I haven't been able to do TJ for like 3 days now and I've had to do the elliptical.

Laura~The back is the worst thing to hurt. Glad you figured out why to get rid of that one. Hope you feel better.

Lisa~I don't think they are "hard" but it just learning correct posture and flexibility. But it is still quite a workout. I just find it a lot of fun and it is a nice change up.

Is it the twisting of the knees in the middle part? I have to be careful there.

That's good to know, they do offer a Yoga class at the gym and I didn't know if I should try it or not. I have done Yoga DVD's but I think in a class it would be harder moves.

Lisa~It all depends on what type and at what level the dvds or class are. I have done beginners and now am learning at an intermidiate level. I also notice my abs and back are getting stronger with the yoga. That is a big plus for me.

Actually no, cause I can do the twisting of the knees in other TJ workouts and I'm fine. I think it's mostly the "wheel" that causes my back to hurt. Cause I do Mix 2 5-6 days a week and not be a bit sore, but the first time I try and do Mix 1 again, I am hurting. It was mainly my obliques and lower back. The twisting of the knees actually doesn't bother me any cause I do it right. I knew there was a reason why I didn't like Mix 1

Hopefully I can go back to doing TJ tomorrow. But today I did 45 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes on the treadmill. I'll probably do 20 minutes of Windsor Pilates later on.

Oh, the ever loved Wheel, I can see where that would hurt your back. I'm glad you figureded out you don't like the PM 1 and can just stick to the others. I have to be careful on any knee twisting because I'm old. lol

My son is three. He is a blast. Definitly keeps me moving! Laura was actually the one to reccomend fat blaster to me. I have only done it a few times and wow what a challenge. It feels great. I don't do it more than once a week though.

I love Fat Blaster. It's definitely a butt kicking workout, but I feel so great after I do it and usually the scale agrees with me, haha.

Hope you are feeling better, I was sick for about a week as well and just couldn't do any exercise, just make sure you take it easy when you start up again.
