CALLANETICS CHALLENGE MAY 2008
CALLANETICS Do you want to reshape your body? Callanetics will firm, tone, smooth, tighten, strengthen, lengthen, and lift like never before! Callanetics is a series of small, gentle, precise motions synergistically and consistently applied, that activate the body's largest most powerful muscles to quickly tighten hips, buttocks, inner and outer thighs; flatten the tummy; lift the bust and firm underarms and tone the entire body. It will also dramatically improve your posture and balance. You will feel and see a difference after only one or two hours. Callanetics is like magic! ![]() THERAPEUTIC RELIEF: Callanetics is as therapeutic as it is effective. You will sleep better, relieve stress, and minor aches and pains you may be used to experiencing regularly will suddenly disappear. Many sufferers of fibromyalgia, knee and back pain, and even carpal tunnel, have experienced dramatic relief from this program. INCREASED FLEXIBILILTY AND ENDURANCE: Because Callanetics works the muscles of our bodies deeply, you can expect to dramatically improve muscle flexibility and endurance, making aerobic and cardio exercise easier as well. Callanetics : Frequently Asked Questions (For before and after photos of wonderful results, check the March 2008 thread.) JOIN US IN THE MAY CHALLENGE NOW.....THE MAGIC! .

my question is some days i find it easy do all the reps then next time i can do it it feels harder now i read earlier that this is normal but my question is if it feels easy one day hard the next when do you know when your ready for super i know im not yet i only watched it other day and that was enough for me looks soooooo hard but cant wait till im ready to try it so when do you know your ready is it when you do it and everytime its just simple what do you do then cant you do 10 in 10 no more does it do nothing for you and you have to stick with super or can you still get results from 10 in 10 when it becomes easy ? and omg watching super the other day when callan was sitting on floor watching them do the stretches she looked so comfortable doing it cant wait till im that flexible sorry so many questions but i love doing it when im done sometimes i wanna do it again i love the hip and behind just wish my belly would hurry up and disapear but im hopefuloops i forgot to ask what is callanetics classed as like i know it not aerobics what is it

Another hour today of Super C.
3 years ago I had strong abs, I was exercising every day strengh and cardio, I was in great shape, I do think that it is true, muscles have memories, . It is really not easy for me to do Super C presently , but 10 on 10 was not enough anymore for my abs and legs exercices after 25 hours, I believe that Super C will be more effective for me and will become less difficult every time I do it, I was better with the pelvis exercices but not the figure 8 this morning. I wish you all a Wonderful Callanetic month.

Yup, its perfectly normal to have days were Callanetics is easy then the next day hard as heck. I hope everyone realizes that Super C is nothing to sneeze at. That's why it's emphasized over and over and over and over on this challenge: Wait until you're ready. Master 10 in 10 first. Form needs to be pretty much perfect in 10 in 10, and completing all reps no longer a challenge. These are all signs that your body is ready for Super C. LOR] |

We're in the process of buying our first house, plus my job has been twilight zone, so to say that I'm stressed is an understatement. Normally I jump on the elliptical, but there are days when I just don't want to work that hard! So even though I'm still making progress when I do Callan, it still feels like I'm just cheating by doing just a 'nice stretch'.... ![]() I just pulled out the tape again a couple weeks ago, and immediatly got back on this board, as I knew you guys would have a new challenge going!!! I'm TOTALLY in for MAY! My monthly goal for May will be to get in 10+ hrs of callan 10 in 10 I have no clue how many I've done... (around 10 since Jan) but the count starts over today! Have a great day, and here we go!!!!! -V

Right well i am in for the challenge this month and I will aim to do 16 hours of callanetics! which means i need to do it atleast 4 times a week and hopefully some weeks ill do it 5 times.
Im going on holiday at the start of june so want to be looking as good as i possibly can. Got a question for all you long timers how many sessions before you were wearing a smaller dress size? By my holiday i will have done callanetics 30 times (only done it 8 hrs will measure after 10) and i am also on a diet i have lost a stone and a half and so far ive went from a 14 to a 10 but i want to lose another 8-10 pounds before i go, is it possible to drop another dress within the next month using callanetics? I'm in for May!
My goal is to complete Callanetics AM/PM twice a week (I did this in April but didn't officially join the challenge). Occasionally I may throw 10/10 into the mix, or South African Callanetics after the replacement for my ancient DVD player arrives. I am a good 100 pounds overweight and Callanetics is something I've actually come to enjoy doing. My body feels good afterward and various chronic pains are become less and less troublesome. One thing I didn't expect was, I rarely have cravings in between meals anymore. One thing I love about AM/PM is how Callan just seems so radiantly happy and to really enjoy being in her own skin. I think it's contagious! I find myself starting to feel the same way. |

Dropping a dress size can't really be compared to dropping X pounds of weight. The scale measures losses much differently from the measuring tape and our clothes. With the proper fuel, adequate rest, and consistent, focused workouts, we can make major strides in losing inches -- i.e., clothes sizes -- when the scale reflects very little change. I dropped two sizes in about 6 weeks when I began Callanetics, but the scale hardly budged. I would encourage you to continue to do Callanetics, no fewer than 3-4 x per week, add in some cardio (if you haven't already) for some extra calorie/fat burning, and eat clean. I think you can expect to see more inches lost in a month's time if you adhere to those things, and with your attitude, you're already there! ![]() |

Thanks for that twyla
I hope to do it 5 times a week, 2 days on and 1 day off as i think my body will get better rest that way rather than doing it 5 days straight and having the weekend off and as well as that i walk 5-6 miles 4-5 times a week and i dont care much about the scales ild much rather see inch loss than no ive dropped a couple lbs Trish x |

I'm in. I need to up my sessions during the week to at least 4x. I haven't checked the scales but I got into a pair of baby phat jeans that I could barely get over my butt last month! So progress is there. I've got to upload some pics too.

I'm in too - 16 hours of combo 10 in 10 and Evolution.
1 hour 10 in 10 done today. I tried to follow with CardioCallanetics but found my shaky thighs couldn't take me through the exercises with proper control for protecting my back. It amazes me how quickly my leg muscles get exhausted with the few leg/hip exercises when it used to take me an hour to exhaust them at the gym with various machines, and if I didn't do squats, I still felt like I had more in me! |
