Getting ready to go grocery shopping and just finished making my list. Tilapia is at the top. Been kinda thinking about it all day and that is strange. Never used to care for fish, but now I love the stuff. My family complains that I 'stink' up the house when I cook it, but they will get over it.

Thinking about making some of those high fat balls, sf jello, a roast in the crockpot and some fresh green beans if I can find them. Also gonna look to see if I can find a reasonably priced ham... Ham slices usually do well to take for lunches. Of course, gonna buy some eggs, bacon, lettuce, cucumbers, cabbage, cheese slices, and broccoli (my mainstays). Also wanted to check out yellow squash and turnips. Had raw turnip slices for snack the other day and it was pretty good.

Planning ahead really works best for me. Gonna also try to not weigh again until April 30th. Get a total for the month. See you guys later.

WOW! This board is so busy! I LOVE IT! I'm going to have to start checking it more than once a day to keep up!! Thanks for the advice everyone! I'm doing great! Staying on plan and doing my best to keep up the positive attitude. You don't know much better I feel when I'm positive and try to be the best person I can be! It makes me feel good! Congrats on everyone with all of your losses! Keep it up!! I'm so proud of everyone! Oh yeah I was measured at the end of March for a bridesmaids dress. The wedding isn't until August 23rd, but when we got back for alterations on the dress I think it will be cool to have them measure me again and see how much I've lost since the first measuring!

By August, you will definitely be in Onederland too.... Go girl!! I cannot wait to get to Onederland.

Good morning Ladies! I finally had a loss this morning - and a good one too! Today is day 3 of my Fat Fast and it is going well. I am pretty sick of cream cheese, but if the results keep a comin' it will have been totally worth it. After my five days are up, I am going to do Meat & Egg for two weeks to combat putting back on what I lose from Fat Fast. I hope I can keep it all off and continue to loose.

You ladies are all doing so well and you are truly an inspiration. I do not think I could have made it through this month without reading all of your posts. I just love 'em!

Today:
B - creamcheese
S - creamcheese
L - creamcheese
S - creamcheese
D - creamcheese

hahahaha

Good Morning Ladies~

Seems like you gals are doing great. I know this challenge started way back in Nov but since I have a 100 pounds that I need to shed, I was hoping I might be able to jump in here and get going with the second half and maybe lose at least 50 with you.

Welcome Groovy. I really think you will enjoy this board and the support everyone provides. We have a great group of ladies.

Magic. Whooooo, so close. Awesome!

Yesterday at the Brewer game, girls day out, my three girlfriends enjoyed fried mac n cheese, burgers on kaiser rolls, margaritas, and lots of french fries (including mine). I at my huge bacon cheeseburger with no bun and I did have 1/2 Strawberry Margarita, but shared it with my friend, so all in all, yippeee....I did it. Then one friend bought a huge bag of kettle corn popcorn and started tearing away at it, 1/2 hour after we ate. (She is overweight). I stuck to a few peanuts later in the game. When we got home, my husband was proud of my accomplishment...he knew it would be hard, and I did it for the most part.

I am really on a roll here. I cannot wait till I weigh on Thursday. You know how you just feel lighter? I am so looking forward to less than 250. Today, I can almost pull my pants down without unzipping them. This is awesome. I need new clothes, but I am going to wait until I am in a comfy 22 and then just buy a few things.

Today's menu:
Breakfast: 5 sausage links
Snack: broccoli/cauliflower
Lunch: Hamb patty with provalone
Snack: broccoli/cauliflower
Dinner: Hamb patty with a dab of taco seasoning and cheddar cheese, cottage cheese.

Have a nice day.
Cindy

hi!

Everyone is doing so great - scales going down, smaller clothes, great doctor visits, passing up junk food!!!!

The funeral was nice. Grandpa lived a long (almost 81 y/o) full life, and though he'll be missed, he had lung cancer and Alzheimer's so his death was pretty much a blessing. He's out of pain and at peace now.

Joy - How was the 5k?

slimdiva - I'm not really familiar with that dish, but as long as you're sure there are no starchy thickeners in the eggs or vegs you should be OK.

Hey Jennifer. Thanks for asking.

I finished! I had hoped to finish in under an hour and my time was 56:39! So I was very happy about that. It was a small event... about 50 or so.

I am still a little sore. Especially since I did a Yoga class tonight!

My daughter and a friend and her daughter joined in also, although they finished a few minutes ahead of me. We were standing around, because there was only the two girls in their sex/age division so we knew they would be mentioned and get a ribbon... when they called out my name as 2nd in my sex/age division! Women/40-44! Well, obviously there was only one other woman in my division... and she finished twice as quickly as I did...

I am not dismayed. I will walk/run another 5K and now I have a personal record to beat!!

Jennifer. I understand how difficult it is to lose a loved one...

Thank you for all the welcome wishes.

Wow !! It seems like like this place is hopping.

I am getting prepared for low-carbing (still have to go to the supermarket) but was able to get in a 1 mile walk and weighed myself this morning. I am hoping in a few minutes to go out to the garage (great place form them, huh) and bring in the old hand weights, dumbells.

Just a bit about myself. Married 19 years, 3 kids, 40 y/o or is it 41...no it's 40 but I feel like i am 80. I've been overweight most of my adult life. Did low-carb a few years ago and lost 50 lbs in 2 months and it came back on just as fast. I tried a few other times unsuccessfully. I am hoping for along my long term goal to reach 130's. Short term 10 lbs a month.

You, gals are doing great.

Almonst forgot, I did take some before pictures but will wait til later to post. When I have a something to compare them with.

See ya later.
